This place exceeded my expectations. Very responsive staff. Great accommodations. Everything was spacious and clean. Very quiet. Small property. Easy to get around. We enjoyed our stay so much and would go back. Would highly recommend!

Location was great, 5 min to Gruene Hall and 15 to New Braunfels, pool and hot tub were awesome! 2 min to Rockin R to float the Guadalupe. I loved the 18 & up policy as well
My husband didn’t like the No Smoking policy, however I don’t smoke and I get them not wanting to deal with cigarette butts etc.

We travel a lot and this was one of the nicest places we have found. Very quite,and beautiful landscaping! We saw deer and a fox, and beautiful birds. Pool was great as well as the hot tub. It was so organized! You could get your snacks, coffee, tea, and sodas 24 hours a day! I am ready to go back RIGHT NOW! I also have told several friends about it already!

The closeness to venues in Gruene. Easy directions and ease of facilities. The bedding was wonderful as well as the bathroom. The quietness and the wonderful river front. Would highly recommend these accommodations and the host. Thank you.
The stay was short. The TV remote was complicated for two Nevadans. Hahaha.

The location to downtown Gruene is amazing. Love the quiet serenity, the beauty of the river & feeling far away from the world even though you’re only a few short minutes from all the excitement.
We had absolutely no water pressure in our bathroom sink. It was extremely difficult to wash our hands or brush our teeth. The pool was dirty with leaves & tree debris. Also, the sheets were extremely too large for the mattress, so it felt as if we were sleeping on a piled up blanket for 3 nights.

The room was so cozy and comfy. The private access to the river was nice - we just floated around one afternoon. Lots of variety of food to snack on. The location was great - easy access to activities in the area.

From the master bedroom of Butter Tub Suite, I could hear EVERY footstep and loud conversation of the guests above us. The footsteps were especially LOUD. The outdoor landscaping is awful. Where are the flowers and GREENERY? It looks like it’s been very neglected for years. TRAFFIC in New Braunfels is a huge problem. I won’t return due to the overcrowding and traffic.

This had nothing to do with the B & B, but the guests in the room across the hall from us evidently were heavy pot smokers and did so off and on throughout the weekend. Hopefully, they were charged for breaking the rules.

I LOVED THE PEACE AND QUIET AND THE RIVER BEING IN THE BACK YARD WAS AMAZING. THE PLACE WAS CLEAN AND TIDY.
IN MY ROOM THE RESTROOM/BATH AREA WAS A BIT SMALL INCOVENIENT WHEN GETTING IN AND OUT OF THE SHOWER.

The house was really neat. It sat right on the river and plenty of places to sit and enjoy nature.
The house was very clean and neat and it was very homey and didn’t have the “hotel” vibe.
