Our family had a wonderful time!

We rented both sides for our family of 17 (2 under 2). It was great having the 6 bathrooms! Coastal wave properties were excellent to work with. Great location.

We rented this pair on condos because there were 9 gals making the trip and using both sides really worked for us. The condos were perfect for our needs - quick walk to the beach, easy trip to a lot of great restaurants, plenty of beds and space for 9 friends!

Lovely location with private beach. Kids had a blast. Adults enjoyed a sun break from rainy washington.

My family and my dog really enjoyed staying here. We spent a lot of time on the deck hanging out, playing music and BBQing. My dog spent most of the stay out on the deck. Great view. The ocean sounds from the bedroom were heavenly.

This house was ideal for our needs. Being on the beach added an even better element and atmosphere for our trip. It was quiet and comfortable. Everyone being able to have their own room and bathroom was ideal. Absolutely perfect trip and house!

The house was clean and well stocked. With a large family sometimes it can be loud, but in this split house it was Quixote as you could not hear other side nor hear from upstairs the crowd downstairs. We enjoyed grilling on the deck and the close walk to the beach. Great stay!

The property had six bedrooms and bathrooms. The rooms are all spacious. The living rooms were great for our large party. Would stay here again.

Easy all the way around

I stayed here during my spring time wedding, and while plenty of things went wrong at the wedding, this beach house was the one thing that went off without a hitch! It was perfect for me, my mom, aunt, and a couple brides maids to stay at and spend time together. Amazingly the sound insulation is pretty good between the two sides. Also, the driveway is large enough to easily fit 5 cars. And best of all you have control of your thermostat and can actually turn it down! We lost some of my wedding jewlery at the house and the rental company was great at letting us search the house the day after check out. I loved it here, a perfect home on a nice quiet stretch of beach, I'll be back again for sure!

We rented both sides of the property. There were nine of us, some couples, some singles. Having a bathroom in each bedroom was ideal. Lots of seating room for all of us to gather together. Easy to go back and forth between the two sides.

I rented both sides of this house for a bachelorette party and it was perfect. The location is great, the ocean views are amazing, and it’s well equipped to handle a big group without everyone feeling on top of each other. The units are “well loved” and dated, but comfortable and seemed fairly clean. Would stay here again if bringing a big group of people who are looking for a low key Beach vacation!

We had 8 grandchildren and families…we enjoyed the informal easy beach stay

The two (a & b) properties worked out very well for our 13 family adults being able to share a vacation together. There was plenty of space, inside and outside, for all of us. From other reviews, we were not expecting a pristine facility and confirm that there are many maintenance needs. Communications with property management was very good, and they responded quickly to any questions we had. We had a great time with our children and grandchildren.

The location on the beach and the ocean views from this property were great. Unfortunately, it is way past time for updating of both the inside and out. There was evidence of past water damage in the ceiling with what appeared to be mold in several areas. We enjoyed our stay in spite of the drawbacks of the property, but it could potentially be so much nicer.

Our entire family rented both sides of the duplex and it was nice to have the space and extra rooms. The proximity to the beach is the best perk. The house could use a little refresher— carpets and some furniture on A side have been heavily used.

The only thing missing was the possibility of a connecting door to the other unit.

Brian and Melinda were amazing hosts from the start! They were highly communicative and helpful through all aspects of our trip. The townhomes were great and perfect for our group. We were planning for 15 but only 7 friends were able to attend. It was MORE than enough for us. Great beach access. Fully equipped home. Easy access. Perfectly located to everything we needed. Thank you very much! We look forward to the next time!

It was nice to have both sides of the houses. It was so convenient to go in and out the back doors. The grandchildren had a great time on the beach and it was so nice to have a walkway out to the beach. A nice Thanksgiving was had by all Thank You

My wife and I, along with our office staff and their spouses, had a nice long weekend in Amelia Island, and enjoyed being all able to stay together in this duplex. With 5 couples, there were not a lot of housing options for us to stay together on the beach, but this one was nice in that it had a bedroom for each couple and each bedroom had an attached bath. It was nice for privacy and just what we needed. The location was perfect, being right on the beach, with nothing blocking your view other than the sand dunes. To be able to carry stuff down to the beach without having to cross a street was very nice. Part of this rental was 5 star quality (location and size), but I am reluctantly giving this a 3 star rating due to the shape of the house. It has the feel of being treated rough for a number of years by many renters. The coffee table was broken and repaired, and the repair was broken and screw and wood were hanging about. The solid surface counter-top was cracked and a large section broken, and had partly been glued back together. A piece of siding had come off the front of the house and was laying on the ground, etc. None of this spoiled our trip, we had a great time, but felt a little "shabby". I have found this is often the case with some VRBOs that aren't managed by the owners, but rather property managers. The property managers for this house were very efficient and kind (even sent us a purse that we had left behind), but it feels different than working with an owner that has a lot of pride in their home. But it was clearly marked in the listing that it was under property management, so I knew clearly what we getting in to. But overall... a nice duplex and we had a nice visit.

Perfect location. On the beach, with almost a private beach most of the time. Units are showing age, but are comfortable and perfect for family gatherings. Thank you!

We loved being on the ocean with our grandchildren. We didn't have to worry about crossing the road. The outdoor space was perfect to getting together. Having the two kitchens and living rooms was nice.

We have a rather large family. It is hard to find a house on the beach that is big enough. It is even harder to find a good one! This one is both-large enough and excellent. Great location as well. We will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week on the beach. Property was just as advertised. We would highly recommend this beach condo. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, which is a big plus.
