Surfer's visit to Middleton
Comprend un salon / salle à manger décloisonné et deux chambres spacieuses, toutes fraîchement peintes et décorées. Bien équipé avec climatisation réversible, micro-ondes, lave-linge, télévision, lecteur DVD, lecteur CD / radio, fer à repasser, barbecue et grand espace de divertissement extérieur couvert et sécurisé pour les petits enfants ou le chien de la famille.
La maison principale a deux chambres, chacune avec un lit queen size. Des personnes supplémentaires peuvent être logées dans le dortoir détaché par arrangement. Le dortoir dispose de 3 lits superposés (un lit double et 5 lits simples) pour les enfants!

This is a great little property with everything you need for a cosy stay, and it is just 2 minutes walk from the beach.
Pros: Has everything you need for a comfortable stay
Cons: It needs a few fixes minor fixes (a proper fix for the tape around ceiling vents/exhaust fans, and the door locks stick a bit (time for some graphite powder)). It could do with a decent clean (it was pretty good overall, just not spotless).
You cant see the fenced back yard in the property pictures but it is off the back patio through a lockable gate and great for dogs. There is also another lockable gate from that small yard to the front yard, so great for access.
Overall a great spot and would recommend.

Would be good to have a toilet adjacent to Kids bedroom. (The bunk room)..
The Kitchen bench needs double PowerPoint replaced as one a with not working. Means swapping cords between Coffee maker and Kettle. Bedding not supplied is an issue

Lovely little cottage by the beach. Pet friendly and comfortable furnishings. Good clwar communication with host. Highly recommend!

Close to the beach, location wise - this is a gem. The property is a beach shack, perfect for people with a dog or two. The owner is lovely to deal with.
The beds were too firm for us, the third bedroom is actually separate to the main house - something I had not realised.
The locks on the front screen door were very hard to work, this probably needs replacing. Other than that. this is a great little place for a short stay.

We have stayed at Surfer‘s Retreat many times and have always enjoyed our stay. The location is great and it is wonderful that we can bring the pooch along.

We loved our stay! The house was so perfect for our family! We particularly loved the outdoor area being sheltered as it was so windy outside, but we could still eat side and be sheltered from the wind! The only we wish it had was a bath for my two year old, but the bedrooms were big and there was plenty of space to play and eat! The location was so great too!! Definitely recommend this house and would be back for sure!

Great, cozy spot to stay for the night. Plenty of beds, with the extra bunks out back. Everything a holiday house needs including a small backyard, nice outdoor area to sit as well all round cozy feel. Really enjoyed our stay here, and would definitely recommend this place to any one else looking for a place to stay without breaking the bank. Beach just down the road, lovely location, need I say more.

Very pleasant, ideal for short stays and very good location. Great beach in easy walking distance. Heating and electric blankets for chilly winter stays. Perfect for our little dogs, secure and very nice backyard. Close to Goolwa and Pt Elliot. Comfortable, basic but all we needed.
