Mark was extremely accommodating and helpful. The place was awesome for a big group and had a ton of space. Would definitely recommend!

Everything that you could ask for in the beautiful town of Stowe. Great location with easy access to food, hiking and town. The property was clean, well stocked an just as advertised. Large kitchen, great ouutside space with plenty of chairs, firepit and hot tub. Quite neighborhood with comfortable beds for a good night's rest. Mark, the host was esdy to reach and communicate with. We would highly recommend this property if you are staying in the Stowe area!

The place is very nice and comfortable. The hot tub was not warmed up for our arrival, and had to run over night to get up to temp. The outdoor fire pit and chairs were not setup like in the photos. Not sure where they were stored. It looked like the cleaners forgot to finish cleaning the primary bathroom. There were used soaps and a rag was left behind. We had not received the code for the lockbox containing the key for house before our arrival, I had to call the host for the code. He also did not respond to messages, only my phone call.

Rooms are roomy, very well supplied, tea/coffe/condiments supplied, plenty of dishes/pans,but hot tub not usable upon arrival and we were asked to clean it.

The house was perfect for our needs. The main floor toilet was unable to use so this did make it difficult having to walk upstairs every time but overall we had a great time. The house was very clean and was exactly ehat we expected. The road to get to the driveway was pretty streep but there was no snow to worry about. Overall a great trip and would stay at the same property again.

This house was great and the manager was very responsive when we had a question. It is setup perfectly for a large group to stay and never felt cramped. Kitchen was well set up too.

Great house for a friends reunion/ski weekend. Loved the sauna and the hot tub. Hill getting up was MUDDY so make sure your car can handle it.

We stayed 2 nights at Mark’s property. It was perfect for our needs. The kitchen was well stocked and would be great for making meals if needed. Location was very close to the mountain and town as well. We would return to this house in the future.

This was a beautiful home! It comfortably accommodates a large number of guests and is conveniently located near the mountain & town. Mark also responded quickly to all messages. I highly recommend this place!

Great location. Everything you need for a great Stowe ski trip

We had a great time staying in thos house. It had everything we needed and it was very comfortable and had plenty of space for 6 people. The hot tub was great and comfy enough for 4 people. we didn't have a chance to use the sauna as it never seemed to work when we wanted to use it.i think it must have an auto shut off on it. We didn't have enough time or energy to figure it out. Very close to the mountain and Alchemist Brewery is right down the road. I gave 4 stars for the check in process only because housekeeping was late getting the house clean for us and we had to wait until 5 to get in. Mark was very good about communicating with us and was very apologetic with the situation. We would stay here again.

Mark’s house at spruce hollow is the perfect ski house! We had a fantastic stay

Mark's property was the perfect property for our family. We felt right at home during our stay. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped and comfortable to work in. (Highly recommend making bison burgers with some local cheese.) The large dining table was great for meals and playing family games in the evening. Everyone enjoyed the cozy wood fires in the fireplace and there was firewood already stacked in the garage. Dips in the hot tub were also great. Best of all was the location. It was so pretty! The house is just a short drive away from the ski resort and still in a fantastic location for walks with our dog Cosmo very near the Recreational Trail. Cosmo loved the spot as much as all the rest of us - lots of floor space to stretch out on and, being a dog, loved lounging in front of the fire. There was plenty of room for our two tall teenage sons and my husband and I with comfortable bedroom spaces. Thank you again to the hosts for a fantastic Stowe getaway.

Great location, great house, WELL equipped kitchen. Close to slopes. Heed the 4 wheel drive warnings the driveway is steep but house is also very private. LOVED IT. We will be back. Owner was easy to reach, responsive and great to deal with.

The place was very spacious and the way it is divided made it easy to have babies sleep while adults were playing games and/or talking loud without waking the children up. The bedroom at the main floor has a King size bed that is very uncomfortable. All the other beds were comfortable enough and we didn't have an issue sleeping except for the two who had the bedroom with the uncomfortable bed. Some doors are very difficult to close, which made it frustrating with young children because it was difficult to "baby proof" the place. The stairs are also quite dangerous for young children. The garage is advertised but when we arrived, there was no possible way to park a car in the garage without spending an hour shoveling the snow out of the way. We didn't end up using the spa as it had a weird smell to it. I did notify the owner, and he got back to me but I only saw the message later on our last full day there. The weather wasn't great that weekend so we didn't go to the fire pit but we enjoyed the fireplace in the living room. Overall I would recommend the place for people who don't have young children.

Excellent house that was very cozy for our little vacation away

Nice home in a great location. Many places to hike, eat and shop. The house met all our needs and we really enjoyed using the hot tub and the fireplace. When I had a question, the owner was very quick to respond and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed.

Lots of space for all. Many loved the hot tub after long days!

This property served us well. We enjoyed the warm welcome of a fire and wine on the back deck when we arrived. The jacuzzi soothed our sore bodies after hiking in chilly/rainy weather. We didn't cook, other than breakfast, but the kitchen is well-stocked. Very nice. Perfect size for our group of four, although it can handle many more.

I was visiting with 6 adults and 3 kids and we all had plenty of room and enjoyed our stay. The fireplace was wonderful and a great way to unwind after a busy day out. This was a very well equipped rental which made traveling so much easier. Thank you Mark for a lovely stay!

Very comfortable well appointed home in a good location. We had everything we needed and wanted. Plenty of space for 3 couples Each couple had their own bedroom and bath which were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this property.

Three couples who have been friends for 50 years enjoyed thoroughly our stay at Mark’s place. It can be a bit challenging to find in the dark, so I’d suggest checking in by dusk at latest.

Our family grew up in Vermont and came back for a visit for the first time in many years. The rental house was in a great location and was roomy and comfortable. It was equipped with everything we could possibly need. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice little house, good location, but for traveling with kids there’s no tub. Not a deal breaker but makes things easier. The major deal breaker is that there is NO AC. It was very hot and uncomfortable. Would rent in the cold months only.
