We loved our stay! Great location, and the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen! The only minor issue was the steep sand dune walk to the beach. Luckily there was a public access next door that was much easier. Loved that the beach was not at all crowded at this location either!

The property management company, including the cleaning crew were top notch. Nothing but positive comments.
We were disappointed that you cannot actually see the water meet the sand, and the kitchen is not great. But if you are not someone who cooks on vacation you would not notice. I would return to the property for a short term stay but not for a week.

Our family of four stayed for a week and loved the setup and location.
3 queen size beds were great for the two teenagers, wife, and I. Big dining area and table made meals and games super convienient. The recliners and couches in the spacious living room area made for great movie nights and gaming. The kitchen had most everything we needed. There was only one hand towel and one dish cloth (in the kitchen), which wasn’t a big deal for us b/c we typically travel with a few anyway.
The location is perfect for us. Half a mile from the boardwalk. Right across the street from the lake (great loop to walk the dog) and Veggie Wagon. Ocean front with a private walkway to the beach made it easy to zip to and from the the house/beach throughout the day. Large covered deck was a great spot for morning coffee and evening drinks. You can see the ocean from the deck, but the dune blocks the view from the shoreline, which wasn’t a big deal for us.
Property managers were responsive to any questions/requests we had.
We’ve been going to CB for years and this is definitley one of the best place we’ve stayed as a family. I highly recommend!

Overall the house was very nice, the location and beach area were great. Plenty of easy communication with property manager. Only negatives were the floor being dirty when we got there and you can't see the beach from the deck due to the new dunes being too high.

Our family had the best time at this house. So many wonderful memories were made. I highly recommend it. Very convenient, super clean, the company was so easy to work with and had phenomenal communication. The dune provided extra privacy and my favorite part was those few steps down the beach walkway to that amazing beach. We loved every second.

The location was perfect. Concrete parking pad under house for 5 cars. The porch deck and beach walkway were new, sturdy composite material. The inside was spacious and beautifully decorated. This home had been lovingly renovated. Would recommend it to anyone who wants a dog friendly getaway

Communication with property manager was excellent from start to finish. Property came exactly as described and in the pictures. It was also very clean. We always wipe down surfaces everywhere we stay, not a speck of dirt on any of our wipes. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms. The back deck was our favorite place to hang out, looking at the ocean and then having private access to the beach. Lastly, location location location. Coffee shops and restaurants, lake with a walking path 0.67 miles long, and boardwalk all very short walks. Wound definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed this vacation - the house is in a semi neighborhood area so avoids the traffic, but is walking distance to great restaurants and food places like Veggie Wagon. It was easy to step out to the beach, and I loved that the porch was material that wouldn’t give us splinters. The house was well stocked and clean. Maybe the showers could use updating but it’s a beach house, so what do you expect?! Communication with rental company was excellent from beginning to end. Overall loved our stay and thinking I’ll rent this house again!

The house was just as described and very well appointed. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The only complaint would be the condition of the mattresses. All the adults complained about how lumpy or old they felt. With all of these “bed-in-a-box”companies, it would be an easy and affordable upgrade that would really elevate the experience.

Amazing family vacation
I can’t rave enough about this house! We have rented several homes and this one was the best yet. My husband and I have 2 young children (5 and 2) and this house fit our needs perfectly. The house was better than the pictures. Everything was very clean, comfortable and everything was there that we needed. Communication was fantastic and we had no questions or concerns at all. The walk out directly to the beach was amazing and the new decking and outdoor shower was so nice.

Perfect In Every Way
This was our first trip to Carolina Beach after having spent many years visiting the Outer Banks. We can't believe how perfect everything about our trip was! This is our new favorite place. The house was in perfect condition, clean, well-equipped, and had plenty of space. The location could not be beat. It's right on a nice quiet section of the beach surrounded by similar homes. We were within easy walking distance of several restaurants and ice cream shops. We were two families with 8 people, including a baby, and we had the best time! Our only request would be to allow us to bring both of our dogs next time. The property allows only one, so we did not bring either. We definitely want to come back!

A peaceful, beautiful home
We absolutely enjoyed staying at the property. The photos I had seen on the website are outdated and do not show all of the wonderful renovations that were recently made to the property. The renovated bedrooms are beautiful. The back porch and walkway to the beachfront are new and very well built. We will definitely stay there again. It is a hidden gem.

Great location
This property was just what we were hoping it would be. It was clean and cozy and the location was perfect. Right on the ocean with a beautiful view! We couldn't have asked for anything more. This was our first time at Carolina Beach. It's a wonderful community with so many friendly people. My daughter left her phone in the property and we had to turn around and go back. Called and spoke with Grace and she was so nice and helpful. She let us back in so we could get the phone and be on our way. I will definitely rent from here again because it was such a great experience. Had no problems with renting the home, getting directions on how to check in and out. It was a breeze. Definitely made our trip great. Thank you for sharing this lovely home with us!!

Charming, roomy, and well-equipped!
We loved our stay at the Seaship! The house was well decorated and charming. It was very roomy and had large bedrooms with closets and dressers to store our luggage and make us feel more at home. We loved the ocean view from the rockers on the porch and proximity to the water...this was a perfect oceanfront home for our family of 5 including children and Grandma!

We had a great time, really enjoyed sitting on porch enjoying a cup of coffee watching the waves. Only drawback was could only use one shower, one in master was not usable. Enjoyed the kids and grandkids, they had a great time, first time grandkids had been to beach. Nice to be able to walk to boardwalk.
