Very cozy cottage . Everything you need is there (except a blow dryer & microwave). The view from the deck is super with a great dock, boat, kayak & everything for a fishing adventure. Gino, the owner was very friendly and helped us with any questions. The people at Monroe Lake are great. Can't wait to go back !

My four kids (ages 5-14) and I stayed at this lovely cottage for three days. We enjoyed it tremendously. There are several places to sit outside, including two firepits, and a hammock. There is a lovely swing by the water, which was a huge hit. The kayak and row boat were fun for going out on little excursions on the lake. The cottage itself is small and cozy but perfectly comfortable. Everything you need is there. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back!

house was very nice. No complaints at all. Lake was gorgeous. Dock was amazing. Boat,canoe and kayaks were great to use. House was nicely decorated. Internet speed was fast. Bedroom with ac was wonderful. Pet friendly and safe. Thank you for wonderful week away. Very relaxing.

There were no check in instructions from the owner. Barely any info given on a note when we arrived. The house was not kept up with. It was not cleaned thoroughly. Furniture was extremely old, stained and uncomfortable. I specifically asked if you could swim off the dock and was told yes. You could not - lake was muddy and dirty and low. You could not sit on the deck - the deck and furniture was covered in dirt, cobwebs and bird poop. The fire pit was nice - but I had to scrub the chairs in order to sit and there was no fire wood left for us. The grill was old and beyond dirty. Half the dock was dry rotting. There were no fish in the lake. The owners left their personal belongings everywhere - there was even a used bar of soap left in the shower!! No space in the kitchen for your food. No microwave or dishwasher. The list goes on and on. This house was not set up for renters. Extremely disappointed to say the least. Worst vacation ever for my family.

House was clean, cozy and exactly what we wanted for our weekend vacation. The property is amazing and private. The lake is beautiful. We fished and swam and took advantage of the boat and kayaks the property comes with. Kitchen is well equipped and house comes with charcoal grill and fire pit.

The house was very clean, decorated so cute. The kitchen was stocked with everything we ever needed. The location on Monroe Lake was beautiful. I cant wait to go back.
