Great place, very comfortable, gardens were fantastic, comfy bed, clean and close to town. Great stay, would highly recommend.

Nothing they stay was all fine. Got my check in instructions a little late but we worked through it just fine.

We arrived at the accommodation and even though it was mentioned in the SMS, there was no external prominent warning to watch out for stairs on the other side of the door. My partner fell to the floor quite hard. Also, we left the power charger behind, notified and found it left on a chair outside the front door at the entrance where anyone could have stolen it. Sent an SMS to them with no reply. Also, the shower had more water outside the shower than in and caused the floor to be dangerously slippery. *Edit* After giving this honest review I get a text from the owner calling me a Toad Charming! Had to block due to constant harrassment!

We loved everything about our stay. Our room was beautiful, as was the fireplace we could sit near and read one of the many magazines and books provided. The gardens were stunning too.

If we returned as a group we would like some kitchen facilities just so we could prepare a cheese board to sit and enjoy the beautiful fire and very inviting lounge area

Attractive Quality property with quality fittings.

It was hard to get warm. It seemed like the heating was set at a controlled point that did not consider the air temperature of that week which was disappointing.

ease of check in and location.

A well furnished and appointed room. Decor of the entire premises was in excellent condition in the French Provincial style. The communal areas included comfy couches and a log fire which was set anew each day. The garden was beautiful and surrounded the building adding an attractive ambiance.

An additional chair in our room would have been welcome.

I certainly enjoyed my stay. Easy system for checking in. Very clean and would have loved to stay longer.

The fire was lit every night which made the lounge extra cosy. The room was very spacious, well appointed and the bathroom was huge. The communication from Simmone was excellent! From easy instructions for checkin to great advice on dinner and winery venues.

Comfortable room in a nice setting that is easy walking distance to everything. I always like picking up a key from a key safe box that allows me to arrive anytime after check in time, without needing to worry about inconveniencing the host.

Something to keep in mind when booking is that Unit 1 has a step inside the front door, but as a bonus, it does have a back door that leads directly to the back veranda and yard. Not sure is other rooms have a step. Fridge is cluttered with products to sell, which will suit some people but not others.
