Un endroit fantastique pour se détendre et se relaxer. Beachcomber a une façade sur l'eau absolue, asseyez-vous simplement et profitez de la terrasse confortable et des vues panoramiques surplombant les montagnes Hartz et le canal d'Entrecasteaux ou par ces jours et nuits plus frais qui ont besoin d'une meilleure excuse que de se blottir contre le feu de bois confortable et d'en profiter vin et produits locaux.
La plage d'Alonnah est située juste en face de votre maison, vous pourrez donc déchausser vos chaussures en quelques minutes et profiter d'un peu de plage!
La plage est sûre et offre de l'eau peu profonde pour que vous puissiez vous détendre et profiter du soleil pendant que les enfants nagent et jouent.
Vous pouvez tenter votre chance pour attraper des poissons ou des calmars sur le ponton, cela faisait partie de l'ancien pont flottant Tasman qui a été remorqué depuis Hobart en 1972.
Si vous avez la chance d'apporter votre propre bateau, il y a une rampe à proximité (beaucoup de parking)
Si vous avez envie d'une promenade tranquille, il y a une piste à proximité qui vous emmène le long de l'estran (environ 1/2 heure de retour)
Pourquoi ne pas admirer la vue et marcher le long de la plage jusqu'au magasin général et au café de l'hôtel Bruny & Alonnah, ils proposent d'excellents repas, une restauration à emporter pour toutes vos provisions.
Prendre seulement 10 minutes à pied ou 1 min en voiture.
Une visite aux Pingouins est un must, ces petits gars effrontés valent indéniablement un coup d'oeil!

Lovely little house by the water. Cozy and comfortable and nothing is too far away.

Great location. House needs a few extra things which we have suggested to the owner, otherwise fine. Ask for firewood to be inside to avoid scrounging around in the dark and rain - had aircon but the fire appealed. Stove and cooktop old but functional. Doesn't have Wi-Fi which was annoying when the TV reception kept flickering which could be normal in this area.
Owner easy to contact and very pleasant.

A friend from Sydney came to spend time with me in the Huon Valley. She chose to visit Bruny Island. After checking on places to stay I found a perfect spot in Alonnah (Beachcomber) with wonderful channel views. Our property manager could not have been more helpful.

An older simple style of accomodation, however had everything we needed and location and view is 5 star. A short walk down the block to the wharf and was perfect for walking along the beach (past the great Bruny Hotel) or wetting a line. Comfortable and suited this older couple perfectly. Host did us a huge favour for which we were very grateful. Perfect spot from which to explore all of Bruny and we will be back.

Such a cute little house. Loved the view, the beach just below us and the short walk to the pub for dinners. Non stop wildlife visiting after dark- We had wallabies and rabbits galore visiting. Seals bobbing out in the channel. Beds very comfortable, massive deck, loved every minute. Hosts very responsive to messages and easy to deal with. Very clean accomodation.

The house overlooks a wonderful bay over to the mountains. Perfect for sitting on the deck, it's quick walk to the clear water for a cooling swim.
The kitchen is well appointed. A simple, comfortable no fuss house to explore Bruny island from.

One of the best views you could ask for, all the facilities you could need, a lovely walk to the pub (which has great food and drink), and listen to a wind symphony coming from some of the holes on the last remaining section of the original floating Hobart Bridge.
We would definitely stay there again!

We had such a relaxing time and the beautiful house! We were so lucky with the beautiful weather enjoyed watching the sunset in the deck. Hubby fished from the jetty in the mornings ans spent the days exploring the beautiful island. Loved it!

Lovely spot on Bruny
We stayed here for one night in late June and loved it. A great spot, close the the pub and store, with great water views. Beds were comfy, and the wood burner made it nice and cosy. Theresa was fantastic to deal with.

Great place for a Bruny Island Stay
Great little place with everything you need. Super clean and friendly owner who made the whole transaction really easy. Loved the indoor fire place for a cosy night. The water views are spectacular !!!!!

Positioned perfectly for sunsets and walk to Hotel Bruny
Firstly, the position of the house overlooking the water was great.
We found the property had no wardrobe space at all but were able to use the second bedroom to "hang" some clothes and to put our suitcases.
The house comes with a great washing machine, no dryer, but did have a clothes "line" on the deck. Suggest some more pegs needed and a clothes airer would be great if trying to get clothes dry in inclement weather.
A couple of hick-ups with the property were seen to very quickly and resolved.
The house is showing some wear and tear and needs some maintenance, eg leaking taps, guttering but overall a nice stay.

Fantastic views, comfortable house
Great base to explore Bruny island. The house was comfortable and clean and the deck was lovely though could do with some shade options from the westerly sun. Some kitchen supplies would also be nice.

Amazing Views, very peaceful.
Spotlessly clean, Beachcomber is a special place with views to the west from the deck.
Theresa was a super host; nothing was too much trouble. Communication was quick and easy.
Hotel Bruny, good food and beers is less than 15 minutes walk along the beach.
Enjoyed a relaxing few days. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Location
We had a fantastic long weekend away here. An excellent location right near the beach, boat ramp and walking tracks, and not far from the shop/Bruny Hotel. A nice warm place to stay with everything we need. We particularly enjoyed the deck when the weather was warm. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Cosy cottage in great location
The property is exactly as described in the listing, there was nothing left out to make a stay comfortable. Communication with the host was prompt and she was very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.
