Private 10 acre Family Friendly Cabin w/zipline minutes from Mississippi River!
L'escapade familiale idéale toute l'année! Passez du temps à jouer sur les terrains de jeu juste devant votre porte, à cuisiner sur le feu ou à explorer la ville voisine de Lansing, dans le Mississippi, au fleuve Mississippi. Il est courant de voir des cerfs directement de la cabane, alors soyez à l'affût juste après l'aube et juste avant le crépuscule.
Voulez-vous rester à l'intérieur? Installez-vous confortablement dans un film sur les deux téléviseurs intelligents et jouez à des jeux de société en famille. À l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur, c'est un endroit idéal pour créer des souvenirs inoubliables!
Remarque: il existe une deuxième cabine que nous possédons et à laquelle mes parents séjournent à l'occasion. Les deux maisons sont suffisamment éloignées pour la vie privée. S'ils se trouvent sur place pendant votre séjour, ils peuvent vous aider en cas de problème, émettre des recommandations et faire du vélo UTV! Faites-nous savoir si vous avez des questions!
Le niveau principal comprend une salle de bain complète, une chambre avec un lit queen-size hors de la cuisine, un salon spacieux, un coin repas avec une cuisine complète. (Ustensiles, casseroles, cafetière, micro-ondes)
Il y a un loft avec un lit superposé et beaucoup de jouets pour enfants!
Le sous-sol a une salle de bain 1/2, une chambre avec un lit king size et un autre grand salon avec une télévision et un canapé confortable.
Le niveau principal comprend Dish TV et Netflix, ainsi que l’accès à diverses applications sur des téléviseurs intelligents. Internet sans fil dans toute la maison pour ces e-mails embêtants et pour divertir les adolescents :)
Les activités à proximité comprennent les ruisseaux de truites, la navigation de plaisance ou la pêche dans le Mississippi, de nombreux magasins, restaurants, bars, épiceries et stations-service à seulement 5 minutes. Pour les amateurs de randonnée ou de chasse, il y a plus de 1000 acres de terres publiques à explorer dans plusieurs directions de Lansing.
Mt. Hosmer a des sentiers de randonnée et deux points de vue sur la rivière! La vue est absolument incroyable! Un must pour tout le monde. Il y a des toilettes, des aires de pique-nique et une aire de jeux.

We had a wonderful time at Apple Valley. The property and cabin are absolutely beautiful. Everything there you need. The air conditioning was great on the very hot days. Enjoyed the firepit each night. Our family loved the zipline. Enjoyed seeing deer often. The owner answered any questions immediately. Great communication with these owners. Would highly recommend this cabin for a relaxing get away.

We had a great time. We would highly recommend the property and a perfect spot for families with younger kids with all the playground equipment, zipline, and outside space that is away from the road. Our boys are beyond those ages, but they still took zipline ride.

Great spot just minutes or so from the Mississippi. Great spot for any group with littles. We had a 3yo and a 1 yo in our group and the sandbox became an instant favorite. 10/10 great spot with the basement room perfect for napping kiddos. All kitchen essentials were there and of nice quality as well.

We were two small families (4 adults and 2 kids) getting together for a weekend. This was the perfect place. Everything is as shown and described. But the owners have even thought of extra little touches, like night lights and wireless chargers. The kids loved the Zipline, and roasting marshmallows and hotdogs over the fire pit. The owners were very flexible/accommodating when we had to change dates.
Also, I've stayed in cabins where the wifi/cable service basically was useless, but that wasn't the case here. Strong cell and wifi service.
I would 100% recommend this cabin.

I was doing some early season birding in the Driftless Area and this cabin was a perfect home base. I originally made an error in my online booking and once I realized my mistake, Joe was super responsive and worked with me to correct things quickly.

Cabin was amazing! Had everything every age can enjoy. My husband and I love the back deck drinking our coffee in the morning and watching the kids play. It was private just for our family. Location of the cabin not to far from in town.

The place is beautiful. There are turkeys, falcons, deer and other wildlife everywhere. The cabin’s amenities are in excellent condition e.g. laundry machines, gas stove, microwave, outdoor grill, etc. Nice fire pit and chairs. Owner is first rate and responsive.

We had three couples plus kids and it was an amazing stay. The weekend was perfect as the kids kept busy with all the stuff outside and inside, while the adults happily connected around the firepit. Great place and easy to access Lansing, and other river towns.

Our recent stay at the cabin was an absolute delight. It was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Many activities for the family. Our kids didn’t want to leave. What a wonderful experience.

Beautiful cabin and property. Quiet and tucked away in the Diftless area of Iowa. Our family and dogs enjoyed the fully furnished and stocked cabin with lots of land to run around and explorem. The location is close to town and great hiking at Mt. Hosmer Park, and less than 1 hour away from Wyalusing State Park.
Definitely would stay again.

We had no problems with our stay. Everything worked like it should and the location is fantastic. Minutes from town, but still feels completely secluded. Our kids loved playing on the zip line!

My family had a great time in Lansing! We stayed here three years ago, and my kids had been begging to go back. I was worried that their memories of the trip three years ago wouldn’t live up to their experience this year. But I was wrong! They’re already asking when we can go back.

Wonderful and beautiful cabin in the woods. Very clean and tidy. Hosts were great communicators and very nice. Couple things to note- there were wasps near the play equipment and the safety straps were broken on one of the swings. Otherwise the kids had a great time playing outside, and the toys upstairs kept them busy while inside.

Lots of wildlife, cabin was really comfortable. Pup friendly. Close enough to town to get supplies and eat out on the river.

This was the perfect spot for young cousins to spend Easter! There was so much for the kids to do and the kitchen was perfectly stocked to feed everyone.

We had a fun long weekend at this property. Very comfortable, all modern amenities, tons of space very private surrounded by bluffs. Just a minute drive from town. Nice place!

We had a romantic weekend getaway without the kids and this place is so peaceful and private. It snowed a few inches while we were tucked away and made it even more perfect. Had a few very good laughs over which light switch controlled which lights, I still don’t think we have it figured out. We will definitely be back in the future.

This cabin is on a beautiful property, just as described. Lots of toys and play equipment for our toddler and toys inside, as well. The cabin was clean, with comfortable beds and ample supplies in the kitchen. Close to trout streams. We would love to have another visit in the future.

We loved our time at Apple Valley. Lovely log cabin, and beautiful property. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Close to Lansing, and the Mississippi River. The property was private, and the playground was perfect for our grandkids.

They had something for everyone...adult areas and kid zones. The beds in the loft were a little thin and we could only find one remote but all in all we had a great time and it was really convenient to the main drag.
I've already recommended the spot to some of my crew.

The cabin was perfect for our time in Lansing Iowa! Our group included us (grandma and grandpa) grown daughter & husband and three kids 2,5 & 7 years old. The Cabin was very private, but minutes from grocery store, restaurants, and interesting places to visit! There was plenty to keep the kids entertained at the cabin. The kids zip line was a favorite for the older two and there was a sandbox and two outdoor play areas for all three to enjoy. The upstairs loft area had lots of toys and books as well. One last thing for the kids, a splash pad in town just minutes down the road. In the area for all of us to enjoy, a beautiful park with hiking, quaint shops, and a neat museum about the driftless area that was a hit. I short drive down the road we enjoyed a boat tour of the Mississippi. We had a great time and it was a wonderful place to stay. Although perfect place to stay with children, this would be a great place for just adults as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful Relaxing stay
This beautiful cabin has everything you want for a peaceful getaway. It is very private and quiet. We had deer in the yard and eagles flying near by. Our trip was cut short because of stormy weather but enjoyed our time there. Would love to return in the fall with the grandkids.. Hosts are very easy to contact if you have any questions..

No disappointments at all. Similar in ways like the BLUFF HOUSE just bigger AND two bathrooms .
Very cool cabin, inside and out. Father and son (owners) are super nice..... 'cuz the cabin sits on 166 acres, wild life all over... had a (2 ?) year old fawn come right up to the entrance of the upper deck ! The wives' were really excited at that !

Beautiful, quiet, and so darn inviting with extra amenities for both young and old. Loved the two firepits, wood, swings, hammock, proximity to river.
