The perfect place for relaxing! Amazing view and very close to the center of Kardamyli. The house was beautiful, spotlessly clean with all the facilities and great interior design, based on the architecture of the area,. Ms Aleka and her daughter, Athina, two sweetest people with extremely positive energy, hospitable and always at our disposal. Unforgettable stay experience!!!

I really enjoyed our short stay at Gika's Hill Stone House. It was a pleasure to spend time in the peace and quiet of the area, and in the lovely house and garden. The owners were really welcoming and informative and made our stay really memorable and special.

wonderful location above the town with great views over the olive grooves to the sea, and the mountains behind. Aleka's sense of hospitality was amazing, she made us very welcome and provided some delicious home cooked food with her own local family grown produce. She gave us some of her family dinner the night we arrived late, and several breakfasts!

Keep the doors shut and fly screens in action, there are mosquitos ( as everywhere in Greece)

The house is set on the hillside just above Kardamyli. The views to the sea and the mountains from the gardens and terrace are fabulous. The owners were so friendly & welcoming and presented us with treats of organically grown fruit from the orchards and delicious local yoghurt & honey. We loved every moment and made the most of the great hiking routes and easy access to the pretty village restaurants and shops.

This is a great place to be, provided that you appreciate minimalist aesthetics and real hospitality. The house is built in a way that respects the landscape and, much to the owner's credit, has no pool. Aleka's attention to detail is as extraordinary as her personal skills and cooking talent. As a Greek song has it, approach the place "softly and humbly", and you will feel that you do not need much beyond looking at the view.

The property exceeded our already very high expectations. It was just as beautiful, if not more beautiful, than the pictures. The accommodation was comfortable and Athina was an incredibly responsive host. She provided personalized recommendations for food, activities and beaches for our family and five year old son. She enhanced what was already a perfect stay. It is a short walk or drive to Kardamyli and also right next to an amazing hiking trail up the mountain to a gorgeous village. The location is perfect for exploring the Mani and Kardamyli itself we found to be the best part of the region. We have stayed in many places in Greece and this was by far the best. If this place is available, you should book it immediately.
