Little piece of quite and coziness at the heart of Furore. Family business that are very warm and welcoming. Had a great time traveling there and staying at their hotel.
The pool is great and the view is breathtaking!
The town in up hill and for that reason quit far away from the main attractions. More suitable for those who seek the less crowded places. Breakfast is a bit lack.

Beautiful and recently renovated relais on the hills of Furore. Staff was super friendly and the room had an exceptional view on the sea.
It’s not easy to reach without a car or (much suggested) moped. But that’s true for the majority of the structures in Costiera Amalfitana due to the unreliable public bus system.

From the moment we arrived, we were greated by fantastic views and an amazing host. The rooms were very Italian and we loved it. The breakfast is delicious, with the sweets coming from the family bakery, and the Pizza's are yum!!! We had a cooking class with Mumma, what a treat. So many laughs and resulted in an incredible pasta dinner. Thank you Umberto, you are a wonderful host.
Nothing we didn't like, but the beds are very firm.

Everything was exceptionally clean and the views were phenomenal. Umberto (the host) was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The place is located in a quiet area, so we slept really well. We would 100% recommend this place.

The room was very clean and we had everything that we needed. There is a bus station near to the hotel.
The room has very beautiful view and has the balcony.
It’s the perfect stay for couple of days. Also, the staff were very kind! Thank you!
Nothing. Everything was good! Just the breakfast is weak but it was enough for us for couple of days.

Umberto was a wonderful host. The view is terrific. It’s quiet and peaceful and with only 5 rooms it is never over crowded (I imagine). The breakfast was simple, but tasty and included hot fresh omelettes.
It’s a bit of a hike up a ramp, not too far and the signage for the inn is difficult to find and understand from the road. But once you’re there, it’s great.

Nothing
The property’s description doesn’t reflect reality; there is no parking, there is no access to the place , the access is only on foot , many flights of stairs

It felt like we were visiting a good friend in italy, the facilities were of the highest standard, Umberto served us by far the best pasta we ever had, the breakfast was very good. I don't think there is a better place to stay on the Amalfi Coast!!!
P.s. i can only recommend everyone to accept Umberto's invitations to eat, he does magic in his kitchen.
Thank you very much for the wonderful time!

Pros: The property is marvelous! Everything inside is new and attractive. The only thing negative is that there is no advise about the parking possibilities: either you paid daily five euros for a private parking or you leave your car on the street (both option about 500 meters from the property). Lockley, I got help with my luggage from Humberto, the guy taking care of the property.
Cons: Since I visited on October the high season was over, so the public transportation is limited and not frequent, so you might consider to go using your own transportation because everything is far from the property.
The property in general and the staff.

Breakfast with a view and what a view! Breathtaking. Umberto prepares the best cappucino for breakfast! At first, we were a bit concerned about the location, because we arrived late at night and could not see the property, but it was solved after 30 minutes of total panic from us, the property is there, but we had to go up the hill and walk through this internal area to be able to see the property (lights were off in this entrance hill). I had called them from Positano letting them know we were arriving after 7:30pm, we arrived much later than that. We needed a hand from the staff to take our luggages up the hill. As it was late, Umberto prepared us pizza (the also prepare pasta if you ask) and we had local wine. The rooms are extremely well decorated, spacious, clean, nice soft white towels, air-conditioning in every room.
There is a bus stop in front of the property, so you can go to Amalfi by bus and from there take buses, ferry, taxis to the other cities. I do not recommend renting a car to drive there, it can be quite scary and challenging. Buses are nice, full of tourists.
For our surprise there was a Michelin star hotel in the same road, so we went there for dinner in one of the nights.
Darinka, another staff member, from Venezuela, was very nice and also gave us many tips.
Our next stop was Salerno, we decided to take a taxi, with the help of Umberto that arranged us a great cost-benefit taxi that told us many great stories about the area and specially about Agerola (the Swiss city of the Amalfi Coast).
I suggest the property to communicate with the guests by Whatsapp prior to the arrival, about the location, how to get to the property. I understand it is a new property and that they are learning from every guest. Except for this issue, everything was perfect.

EVERYTHING, SERVICE WAS AMAZING!! highly recommend staying here if you prefer living in a smaller whiter village close to Amalfi. VIEWS VIEWS VIEWS. panoramic views. food places nearby, Umberto was amazing host to this property.
the Transportation to the main cities from here was a bit tough as you had to take the bus which wasn’t very Reliable in terms of arriving on time and skipping bus stops to pick you up if the bus is too full.

One of the best things about San Giacomo was Imberto! The most helpful and kind host, so sweet, can’t say enough about him. The property is charming and humble, tucked away in the sleepy farming town of Furore which is welcome respite from hectic Almafi and Positano. And our room had the jacuzzi bath!
The views are stunning, Furore is quiet and quaint.
The only thing was that the bed wasn’t super comfy, but we were able to sleep soundly.

Umberto was super helpful, just a perfect host :)
No connections to the beach provided(nor a shuttle), we had to walk for 45 minutes to the beach (all steps).

The location is good. The view is breathtaking. You need to climb few steps to reach the place. Umberto helped us a lot. If you don't have a car then you either have to walk or take Sita Sud bus. It's more convenient if you go by car. Thanks a lot for answering our innumerable queries and helping us Umberto!
Climbing stairs with bags and suitcase! But that isn't the hotel's fault! Amalfi is 35 mins further down from here by bus.

It is not very easy to find the location (get very well informed before: sita bus, taxis, rental cars- you will need one of these for sure. Once we got to the location, all was exceptional! Peaceful, charming view! To get to Fiordo Furore you need to take 1000 stairs down. For other beaches in Amalfi or Positano you would need a car/ motoscuter or city bus.
The host, Umberto is very capable and gentile. Wonderful stay! Highly recommended!
The traffic is horror.

I loved the attention of Umberto, he always made sure we made the most of our stay, he helped us with transport indications, guided us to renting a scooter, every morning the breakfast was great and his coffee was the best. In the evening when we returned from our trip the room was clean and he asked us how it was. Even if English wasn't his first language, whenever we didn't understand each other we pulled out the google translate app and everything was good.
I think Furore is a very beautiful city and everything, but the transportation was many times a big hassle.. In our first day it was really hard to get to Fiordo di Furore from our stay, we started walking then were too tired to continue. One local picked us up and drive us there so it was good in the end.
During our stay, the Amalfi coast was flooded with tourists, so the buses were most of the time packed. We sometimes had to wait so long for buses in the sun, but we eventually managed it.
