The properties were in a beautiful country location but only a short drive into Wells. It was beautifully quiet. The house was very spacious and the facilities were good.
It was a lovely touch to have a bottle of local cider in the fridge alongside the biggest bar of Toblerone! The pool and spa were super.
We could not find any great problems at all. A couple more tea towels w and dishcloth would have been nice and we did run out of loo roll!

Very comfortable and spacious accommodation, ideally located in the countryside around Wells. Kitchen is really functional and well-equipped. Large sitting room. Private garden is nice. Great swimming pool as well.

Lovely house in a lovely setting.
Great communication. The Woodstore was so clean and comfortable.
Lots of thoughtful additions to the house - torches, dog bowls, kitchen essentials.
Bedrooms all comfortable and spacious. Enough seats for everyone in the living area. Good base to enjoy local area.
Really easy to book and great contact from the owner.
We will definitely recommend and hope to return.
The swimming pool was quite cold.

We loved it all, well equipped house, gorgeous pool onsite, comfy beds!

We stayed at the Woodstore for a short break before dropping our daughter off to her first year at University. An amazing house, spotlessly clean and perfect for a short stay. Very close to the beautiful city of Wells and its pubs and restaurants. The ability to use the pool and sauna was a massive plus after a day's touring. The welcome pack, which included treats for dogs and people was very welcome.

Lovely quiet location but close to Wells, Glastonbury and Cheddar. Lots of great things to do in the area. Very cosy house with everything we needed and extremely comfortable beds. Loved the spa facilities too.

My family particularly enjoyed the tennis and the swimming pool.

only thing that could have been better with the property which I know isnt in the owner's control however is the wifi.

The property was lovely and we enjoyed our stay. The bedding in all the bedrooms was very clean and of good quality.
The phone signal & WiFi wasn’t very good as we’d been told beforehand. Needs another black wheelie bin as it was already full before we tried to put our two bags in.

Woodstore was a great place to stay. There was plenty of room in the house and the kitchen was well stocked with essential items. The garden was nicely kept and the patio was a great area for alfresco meals in the evening. In addition to the house there was a swimming pool available to all residents on the estate which was booked online for exclusive use, due to Covid. We had a great time and would highly recommend it.

Beautiful countryside views from every room. Located very close to the pretty city of Wells. Fantastic facilities on site and the booking system for the spa worked well. Dog friendly space and walks on the doorstep. Super comfy beds, everything you need to self cater. Clean, stylish and cosy.

Beautiful property, very clean and walking distance of Wells
Loved everything but due to type of garden fence I wouldn’t recommend it for small dogs as they are able to slip in between the wood bars, however, it’s perfect for medium/large dogs.

Beautiful property, very well-resourced house and fantastic facilities in Wellesley Park. Beautiful setting - views of Wells Cathedral from outside the property and of Glastonbury Tor from not far away.
