We had a lovely stay here. It was quiet and spacious, nice neighborhood. We loved the big front porch and so did our 2 little doggies. The new outdoor shower was a great addition. The only issue was a problem with the bedding from the previous guests stripping all the beds when they checked out. We would suggest you having a binder that contains all the important information about the house for guests to refer to. We hope to return to visit the Delaware beaches next summer. The owner was very helpful with answering questions and responding to texts.

The house was nice and well stocked with extra things such as spices, toilet paper, tissues and bath towels. We loved the front porch!

The house is comfortable, great front porch, nice gas grill in the yard. Plenty of room for cooking, eating and relaxing. 15 min drive to beach. Also great location for restaurants and shopping. Bicycles, beach toys and beach chairs to use.

We enjoyed our stay in Bethany Beach. The house was nice and Cliff was always quick to respond! The front porch was unbeatable!

We had questions and the owners were reachable and answer our questions. We had issues with the trash and recycling because it was not empty from before but other than that it was fun.

The Mermaid beach house was comfortable. We loved the large front porch, plenty of seating. Was nice for the morning cup of coffee enjoyment. The two living room areas were accommodating and allowed for extra seating for games and conversation. The Master bedroom was spacious. Only negative is the back steps were awkward and old. Owner did share with us that a new deck is planned for out back. Would recommend the Mermaid beach house to others if basic comforts is what you are looking for.

We enjoyed our stay at this home. Loved the great front porch and the nicely decorated and comfy space. A bonus is the house is pet friendly, which also means cats.

We spent a very enjoyable 2 weeks with our dog, visiting friends and family. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. It is located close enough to the beaches but in a nice quiet neighborhood. We liked the way the house was separated into 2 living areas. Cliff was very responsive to all of our questions. My only complaint was the small ants in the kitchen. (I can’t stand ants!). I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a pet friendly, spacious house.

We had a great time at the beach. We hadn't been to the Beach in Over 2 years and it is one of our favorite places. Accommodations were great. Ability to use their sheets made packing for our family very easy. Great locations to shops, was easily able to get to the beach as we enjoy going to DSSP and not a far drive to Millville to hit BJs for supplies. Great Trip.

Excellent place to stay! Quite, lovely neighborhood, easy to get to. Close to everything. Fully stocked kitchen, everything you will need and then some! If you forgot something for the beach, it’s likely there for you to borrow. We loved the Big covered porch with ceiling fans and plenty of seating! Very nice owners and easy to get ahold of.

We enjoyed our stay at the house in Oceanview. Beds were comfortable to sleep in. I loved the extra touches such as books in every room, tissue boxes, lots of beach related decorations, and lots of commodities in the kitchen. House was perfect for my family. It’s close to the beaches. Everything was clean and spotless when we arrived. Owners were readily available to answer any questions. Would definitely stay here again.

After cancelation point we received check in info. This stated that we were responsible to clean sheets prior to check out or rent or bring our own. Morning of check out we had to make all the beds with their linens. We were told to make sure that the house was cleaner then we found it. If the propane ran out on the grill or oven we would be responsible to refill. The house had many maintenance issues, but nothing that made our stay not enjoyable, we believe if you pay a cleaning fee that we should not have to clean the house. We did enjoy the house and the neighbors were great. Just be more honest about cleaning up front.

We had a good week at this property. It had everything we needed.

While like others mentioned the place smells a bit musky, overall it was clean and we enjoyed our stay for 5 days. It's 5 min to Bethany Beach and about 25-30 to Ocean City. Has everything you need for the beach plus bikes and a ping-pong table. The grill is just ok and it needs some new utensils, like sharp straight knives, pottato peeler, etc.

Great space for family size property. Although, personal items not removed from previous renters or cleaning crew. Major ant issue in home. Other then that, great location to stores and beach. Quite neighborhood.
