Mountain Majesty Home est une magnifique maison de montagne dans un charmant cadre alpin situé à seulement 15 minutes du centre-ville de Durango et à 5 minutes en voiture du domaine skiable d'Hesperus. Une surface habitable d'environ 3 400 pieds carrés offre à 12 adultes beaucoup d'espace pour avoir leur propre intimité.
Le restaurant Kennebec, une cuisine gastronomique gastronomique, est à seulement 3 minutes en voiture.
Mountain Majesty Home est parfaitement situé pour admirer certaines des vues les plus magnifiques, "en face"! Cette maison se trouve dans les contreforts du canyon de La Plata. Professionnellement décoré avec une ambiance stratégique à l'esprit. L'enregistrement et le départ sont faciles et sécurisés.
Il y a 2 Master Suites une avec un lit King et l'autre un lit Queen.
La proximité des autres chambres avec les espaces de vie rend l'accès facile. Chaque chambre a des draps et des couvertures 100% coton sans polyester gênant. Les vues de chaque Master Suite sont des montagnes enneigées de La Plata. Parrot Peak, Kennebec Peak, Deadwood Canyon et Mount Baldy sont tous dans votre vue de face en position couchée dans le lit en comptant les étoiles ....

We chose this location because we wanted to explore Durango and Mesa Verde. It was perfect! The view is amazing and the house was comfy and had plenty of room to spread out. We’d recommend it for sure!

Appeared abandoned. Outdated. Not properly maintained. Misled. When we booked, it included a fire pit and hot tub. Both had been removed. No TV in main living area. Property was overgrown. Deck was falling apart. Extremely disappointed.

Very convenient location to Durango. Nice location for a large group. Views are amazing. Large table where everyone can eat together. Well equipped kitchen. Fun short walk down the road to a little creek and you can hear it if you open the windows.

The 5 bedroom cabin inside was very nice and its location, and the views were spectacular. I do believe the outside could have stood a little more attention as far as being mowed and weed eated . A little manicuring of the outside of the grounds to look more inviting as customers arrive. What you see when you pull up is when you get that first impression. The description said there was a fire pit, and we’re planning on using it with the grand kids and found out they did not have one. I was told it was taken down to fire hazard and I understand that, but remove from description. It also mentioned a hot tub which was also no longer there. You could see of the back deck from the master bedroom where one once was, but was no longer there. There again do not say there is one when there is not. I’m not completely disappointed with the property. The inside of the residence was beautiful and we did enjoy our stay. I would only recommend the owners be completely honest in their descriptions. I would have rented even without the mentioned itemsbut was under the understanding they were there. All in all a very good trip.

Our expectations were not met. The exterior made it seemed abandoned. Every car who drove up thought they had the wrong place. The house was surface cleaned but needs deep cleaning. Some of the blankets were unwashed. We had a nice time and there were plenty of beds and baths, although the mattresses were I uncomfortable .

We had our annual family vacation at Mountain Majesty for a little over a week. There was 12 total people and this house was absolutely perfect. We had plenty of space to chill and come together. The views were absolutely breathtaking and we all spent so much time just taking it all in.
We would definitely stay at Mountain Majesty again!

This was the perfect home for our large family. Everyone had their own space and we never felt on top of each other. The location was perfect with quick access to Durango and the San Juan National Forest. Quiet neighborhood.

We had a wonderful time. The house was easy to find, with the instructions provided. The house itself was beautiful and the greatest part of it was how warm it was. We stayed right when snow time came and we were very pleased with how warm it was. Overall everything was great. I would love to stay there again.

Easy check in. Secure site. Pretty setting. Quiet. We enjoyed stay and slept well. House has an odd layout. The Only main floor bathroom is in a suite. So we had to go to lower level for bathroom. Kitchen was nice and well stocked. Some cabinet doors are falling off hinges and upper cabinets are dusty but it was nicely stocked with spices, pots pans, coffee maker, etc. Fan over kitchen was very dirty so we did not try and run that. Heater will keep room about 65 when it’s very cold outside (normal in Colorado) But master bedroom heater would not quit so it was hot there. Could have been we just could not figure heating out! Water is shared at the house and must be conserved. We found water running when we arrived. We had plenty of water though. There is no hot tub and warm water is out when jacuzzi is half full. Windows are so dirty guests are writing and drawing on them. Bugs on window sills. Spiders encountered too. At least one blanket needed washing. Main surfaces were clean. Bathrooms clean. Sheets clean. Floors clean. humidifiers in bedrooms but they did not work. It is a pretty place, older home but nice to stay there.
Would we go again? Yes. We are not super neat freaks. Oh we found under clothing in a drawer!

We came to Durango for the Polar Express. The house was spectacular and served us well. The scenery was gorgeous and it snowed!

Loved the location to the mountain....house was very clean
A bit different lay out as described on the website. Extra master is on main floor with the extra bedroom. Two bedrooms below with a bathroom. Then the wonderful HUGE master is an addition but it was GREAT...obviously we stayed there. Only downside, is the bathrooms. So if on main floor you would have to enter the other masters or go downstairs to use that. My family is very private so it worked out for us but I just want to say that if you have a huge group they would all be using the downstairs bathroom. Ron is a great host and everything was great. Tons of dishes, spices, etc. We left a lot for the next guest :-)

Home was an excellent location for our backpacking trips in Durango, Silverton and Pagosa Springs. Beautiful views of the mountains behind the home. Was nice being a few miles out of downtown Durango and the entire area was awesome!!!!! We really enjoyed our stay and plan on returning to the area again in the future. It’s a beautiful place to visit and thank you for your hospitality!!!!!!

We had a great stay in Durango! We visited for a 50th birthday get together and all 3 couples had their own space. Everything is beautiful and easy to find. The elk coming down the mountains at night was an added bonus

Very comfortable. Great location. Ron was very responsive and took care of needed supplies quickly. Only suggestions would be to cut the weeds and thistles in front of the house. And a grill without gas is not an amenity. Overall great place. Very enjoyable!

There were 12 of us ranging from 5 to 65. We had plenty of space and the location was great. Beautiful views and only 20 minutes from Durango. We would definitely stay here again.

We will definitely book this home again in the future! With just a short distance from Durango, you get the privacy and comfort of staying next to mountains with an incredible view!
The home was clean and it has everything you need to be comfortable, from cleaning products to kitchen silverware.
The master bedroom is very nice with a great view. The other 4 rooms are comfortable and close to the kitchen for easy access to a quick snack and to spend time in the spacious living room.
The grill worked perfectly. The propane tank was empty but quickly realized there was a full spare tank in the garage.
Clean interiors and exteriors.
Definitely recommending this home to our friends.

The location of this house is perfect, nestled in the mountains away from the hustle of the city, but still close enough. Plenty of space for all of us and the master bedroom is pretty amazing! It was quiet and the beds and furniture were comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay. There were 3 couples. We each had our own level/space in the house…plenty of room and privacy. The views from the kitchen , living, dining and master bedroom were amazing. Durango is about 15-20 minutes away, the scenery is just breathtaking. Did some shopping, rode the Durango Silverton Train, took a drive over to Purgatory Ski Resort, made reservations at Kennebec Cafe and it was so delicious. The weather was wonderful. It snowed, the sun came out each day and we couldn’t believe the huge icicles that hung from the roof. The owner Ron made it very easy to check in and check out. We all said we loved it here and definitely would come back again. Thank you for such a great stay at Mountain Majesty!

If you like an incredible view and comfortable location when visiting Durango and the surrounding area. The Mountain Majesty Home is where you want to stay! It is a large home with a huge master bedroom suite. The views of the back porch are amazing. We had a snowstorm it us the last night of our trip. We woke up to the driveway already cleared and the host call me to check on us and let us know the roads conditions.
I look forward to returning.

This home was absolutely perfect for the 2 families that stayed. The house was very clean and spacious. We woke up to a winter wonderland of 12+ inches of snow. It was so beautiful! We would definitely stay here again.

The property is located in a great location. Just minutes from Durango. Although it has multiple houses on the property they are not really seen from our view. The Mountain View from the kitchen eating area as well as the main suite were breathtaking. The property manager answered all the questions I had before we committed.
