Le Happy Feet Beach Retreat est littéralement à deux pas (moins d’une minute à pied) de la superbe plage et du centre-ville de Dunsborough. Vous y trouverez des cafés, des boutiques, des restaurants, un parc de jeux pour enfants et la célèbre boulangerie Dunsborough. Nous acceptons également les animaux domestiques afin que toute la famille puisse venir.

Had a great stay. Was lovely and cozy and beds very comfortable, with great kitchen and bathrooms. Very close to town and beach. Perfect location!
The only thing we would fault, is that the main window in the lounge was pretty dirty. As in hadn’t been cleaned for quite some time. I know it’s winter and the salt from the ocean is hard to control but it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks….also there were a few cobwebs round the window on the inside so it’s been overlooked for a while.
It’s a small thing, but with the cold and wet weather we spent a fair bit of time in the living room so it stood out.

My daughter loved the top floor. Very nice accommodation. Really enjoyed my stay. Very small negative. The lounge is uncomfortable and the WIFI never connected.

We did enjoy our stay. Great location - close to town and beach. Neat and tidy. Only would say that the house itself is smaller than expected. It does sleep 10 however with only 5 of us staying it was the limit with the lounge and dining areas. There was a second retreat area but can be very noisy with open plan.
Back yard good for dogs but front is on a corner and not enclosed so that was tricky with dogs.

It was a great stay in a very central location to the beach and town centre. House was very clean and beds comfy. Kids enjoyed the games and foosball table.

Absolutely suited our last-minute short break away with family and our 2x dogs - the back yard is perfect for pets and relaxing with a cuppa. Easy walk into town and along the beach paths. Overall a lovely holiday break.

The property is perfectly situated, within an easy walk to beach, shops and playgrounds.
The house has all you need and the large yard is great for kids and pets.

Property was good for our family. A couple of things need attention,1/ kettle needs cleaning or replacing. 2/ kitchen tidy bin doesn’t pull out easily. 3/ upstairs was different but good, it does need a light in the ensuite as it is very dark at night we had to use a torch.

This is a great place for families wanting a holiday close to beaches and shops. The property has all the basics necessary. We loved watching the bird life in the back garden and appreciated the short drive to beaches at Meelup and Castle Rock. It was one of the few places able to accommodate our extended family for a holiday together.

We had a relaxing holiday at this extremely well located house! Cosy and well fitter out, we had everything we needed for wonderful quick get away. Easy walking distance to the beach and shops, it was so lovely to have our dog frolicking in the water at the beach and strolling through the parks, enjoying every moment with us! Thank you to the home owners.

Overall the house was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Just a couple of suggestions..all doors should have screens as we wanted to let fresh air in but the flies were coming in too. Also it was hard getting into the bathtub for my elderly mother to get in and out of the shower. Also the sprinklers came on at about 2am and it woke me up. Perhaps a more reasonable time would be about 5am. These are some suggestions but overall it was very central, clean and comfortable.

We had a really lovely stay. Enjoyed being so close to the beach and town. Everything we needed to cook in the house and also so close to all the local restaurants to walk in for dinner, so many options. Lots of rooms and space for the family to spread out and relax. Wished I could stay longer!

The perfect house and location for my group of family and friends. Separate living spaces gave the kids space to hang out away from the parents. Just a few minutes walk from the beach and town centre too.

Property was amazing and just what we needed it for, plus such a good location right next to town and the beach. A few small things that made it a bit inconvenient - allows for 10 people but there's not 10 chairs for people to sit and eat, we ran out of toilet paper (and almost bin bags), there was no recycling bin and the other bin was full on arrival so we could not dispose of our rubbish correctly (and the book says we incur a fee if we leave rubbish behind). Other than that, the house has so many appliances, kitchenware and many other items that made the stay pleasant.

A great little spot in the perfect location. A 2 minute walk from the beach and 1 minute from town.
The stay has everything you need and is well maintained. A good yard for the pups to relax and explore. Relaxing on the balcony with a cuppa as the Pink & Greys play in the trees out the front; "How's the serenity?"
The host was easy to contact and we will stay here again.

Happy Feet is an excellent home to stay in with families with plenty of things to entertain young kids and old kids while hanging out at the property. All amenities to make everything easy. So close to town and the beach . Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Thank you Donna. Will definitely be staying there again soon .

Location was amazing. Walking distance to everything.
Big backyard for kids to play and fire pit for big kids.
Nice cozy lounge room for us mums to sit and relax.
We throughly enjoyed the stay.

Excellent location and being dog friendly we will very likely be back, though we left her at home this time.
My outlaws commented that the downstairs bath was very slippery to get in and out of, and may benefit from some sort of anti-slip mat inside the bath.
FYI, the coffee machine is leaking water around the front and back of the pod when making coffee. We placed it on the sink when using to avoid water on the counter.
Other than that, great venue in a great spot.

Happy Feet Retreat was perfect for our family weekend getaway - we consisted of 3 couples and 2 dogs. The house was perfect in its location - we walked into town every day and did not use the cars at all whilst we were there. The house it’s self catered for everything we needed and the games cupboard was used every evening ! 💜
The spiral stairs were ok for us , but anyone with mobility issues would have struggled to use them. (sometimes our elderly parents travel with us and they could not have gone upstairs.) But for us on this trip the house was GREAT!

Nice spot. Great when holidays are with your pet. Central location which was awesome. Nice trees in back yard and very secure so no worries at night as our pet sleeps outside in a travel kennel.
Only down side? - Bed was uncomfortable. If you are frail or elderly then the shower/bath or upstairs shower would not be accessible.

It was an enjoyable stay, facilities were pretty good. Just gets a little crowded in the lounge area when 8 or so adults are staying. Room isn’t big enough really. Not enough seating on couch and at the dining table.
Fine if you have young children but with adults it becomes a bit cramped. We did enjoy our stay, just be aware there’s not a lot of room. It was an excellent location, five minute walk to shops.

It was great to be able to park the car and not get back in until our departure. This property is in such a great location, quick walk to the beach and town.
We also left quite an expensive item behind, Donna was so helpful working with the cleaner/new guests to return it.

Everything was as advertised. The location is perfect being only a five minute walk from the town and beach.Check in was easy and the house is well equipped and spotlessly clean. I would recommend it to my friends and would definitely stay there again myself.

Fantastic location just one block from both the beach and local Dunsborough shops. The house was great for our two families to enjoy. A front security screen door and security door off the main living area and laundry would be ideal to let the afternoon breezes through. Kitchen was missing a few essentials. A drying rack for dishes and rolling pin would be a great addition as well as a toasted sandwich maker or sandwich press. Toliets lacked an exhaust fan and as main bathroom was accessible from primary bedroom a lock on door would have made it more comfortable for all guests which included our children. Vacuum cleaners may need an upgrade as well. Overall an enjoyable stay for everyone and being dog friendly was absolutely a plus. Will definitely be back!
