Friendly staff and very comfortable large room.
The outside needs TLC. ITs rundown and needs some landscaping and gardening to
Make you feel welcome.

Excellent facilities. Beautiful view over a lake. Great staff.
Poor wifi. The dinner option was more unhealthy than advertised and I thought there were more walks on the estate. The walks are in the surrounds. Not a big deal. Would stay again

The facilities was not working, the pool was under 40 degrees very difficult to use, because the water was very cold and the hot tub was off of service .

It has potential. Large newer facility, good views. Some staff were very pleasant.
It was so bad We left after one night and let them keep our money. This property is purposely being run to the ground. They are going into foreclosure. The management is letting it fail yet still willing to take your money. Nothing is as advertised. The pool heater is broken, the steam room is also out of order, the jacuzzi hasn’t worked in months yet they continue to tell people it’s being fixed. Meanwhile they encourage people to pay for treatments instead from the a la carte menu. This resort is completely understaffed, it’s like a Ghost town. The rooms are dirty, carpets badly stained. Nobody is really in charge, it’s being totally neglected. From what I read they are not paying back loans and own over $45M, so obviously don’t care. What I don’t understand is why are still marketing this place is if it’s in its prime and scamming people with a bait & switch. That is criminal.
I warn everyone to read all reviews and complaints on the BBB. What a huge disappointment.

So, I'm gonna write a bit long review. First of all - the location is very nice, snowy, but very very far. If you don't drive there let me tell you, there are no local Ubers or Lyfts. There was only one local taxi service that worked and it took them an hour to pick you up. The next day when I needed a Lyft to go back home, which I pre-ordered like three days ago, the driver already knew everything about my biography (welcome to the village). It was probably the same darn taxi service which reincarnated into Lyft)) Imagine you are right at the end of the world.
Ok. Now what about hotel itself:
First day I go there and the reception guy is Michael. He was really best of the bests. He explained everything to me. He was just up and down. The pool guy was away, I couldn't use the pool, he organized me a free bathtub instead. Thank you Michael, you were the best. BTW: They are completely shortstuffed. When you enter the welness floor there is just no one to help you out there. Unless you order a procedure beforehand. No reception, no one to help. Nothing.
Day two: The pool guy is already there by 10am. But the pool is just freezing. It was impossible to enter. I am sure they didn't even care to heat it. But ok.
Still day 2: Another woman on reception. A woman of her 50s, with light brown long hair, who definetly didn't like me and didn't even scratch her teeth to pretend to like me. She was comletely UNNICE. I asked her for help for a couple of times, she told some blsht to quickly get rid of me, because I was on her way of talking on the phone on her personal topics. I'm sorry, Mrs. Monticello, I just thought that I can come to you when I needed because you frkn work there. I even asked her for another phone number of taxi service she said I don't know, I went to another receptionist girl she told me with pleasure. I was just praying Mrs Monti weren't there when I checked out, but I was unlucky enough. Cont>>
On purpose I approached her TWO times to make sure that $63 was the only charge I'm gonna get because I had one dinner and bought one bag. She said yes. The next day when I'm already home I get another separate charge for the bag, of $19.44. I call them back she picks up again. I tell her the dinner was how much? She says the dinner is $65. But we charged you $63 (probably because I didn't eat anything, because I'm not a vegan. they have no meat there). I call booking (on booking it says $50) they call them and demand refund. I'm still waiting for it. They told me it's gonna take about 12 days(???) but whatever. One thing I can be sure of, if Michael was there those 3 days he would never allow this situation to happen. On the day 2 there was also a fire alarm and they were trying to make people get out of the buiding half-naked, thanks God I managed to take my coat with me. So all in all, the only good and helping hand was Michael. The guys in the dining room were above and beyond. The woman, who accompanied me to watch a movie together was very nice, I think she's a nurse. The housekeeping indian men was very nice.
The rooms were clean. There was a steam shower, they told me it's gonna heat up in 20 minutes, I waited for an hour, it still heated up to"warm" but never to Hot. Guys, you better not go there in winter. Probably in summer it's gonna be much better. But still. I pay sooooo much money for 2 days. It could be a lot better. A lot. But Whatever. It was an experince not to repeat again. Thanks to all the big stuff who treated me nice and warm. I will be back to you in summer to make sure that winter was the reason of all small kicks.

The breakfast was fresh, tasty and very good, room was great and very clean, like the lobby and general décor.
Staff very friendly, in general very nice appeal.
Swimming pool totally cold as well as jacuzzi. Men's and women's spa sections were open but out of service, not working jacuzzi, steam room and sauna in both men's and women's sections.

Bright and airy, good size rooms, good food, pleasant staff.
Pool was too cold to get into and the hot tubs weren’t working. The balcony of our room clearly hadn’t been cleaned, there was a melted chocolate cake and a cup of cigarette butts left there

Food was great! Sauna in the room. Quiet.
Cold swimming pool - not possible to use.

The facilities were great and very spacious. There were only very few guests on site, so they automatically gave us a room upgrade. Very few people in the yoga classes, making them semi private.

The Breakfast was ok - for a wellness based center they could have had more gluten free options
The Location was idyllic - a beautiful spread of property in the Catskills with a gorgeous lake and beautiful giant trees.
There was a problem with our room so they upgraded us to this giant executive suite. It was really appreciated and a super nice room. The pool was nice and the steam rooms and saunas were pretty nice once we got them working.
It was a nice quiet weekend getaway which was all we were looking for.
Ok so 1st of all - Here is a list of all the things that were NOT working the entire time we were there
The HOT TUB which is also the "waterfall spa" pictured in the photo of the pool.
The Large Steam Room near the Pool
The Large Sauna near the pool
There were only 6 bikes available for a hotel with an easily 300 guest capacity so while we were some of the only guests there the bikes were never available for our use which was a bummer cause it looked like a really nice place for a ride - they have their own trails.
We had to figure out how to make the little steam rooms work that were located on different floor so you couldn't really get the pool - steam room - sauna transition to be very smooth . It seems like it's designed more for private sessions - massage - treatments -etc and / or for large corporate groups to come a do yoga and meditate
If you are solo or a couple there are better spa experiences out there if you just want to steam and sweat and soak

Absolutely gorgeous property, rooms were huge and beautiful with an amazing view! The entire hotel is very relaxing and breathtaking. I would go back just for another night of relaxation.
Many of the facilities were closed, such as the jacuzzi and steam showers. The pool was freezing.

Poorly maintained. Weeds, goose poop and debris everywhere outside, no one cleaning up. No staff, no maid service, place was empty, facilities were broken or unavalable

Very nice and comfortable resort. Great setting and relaxing.
Everything else needs to be paid extra. They said the hot tubs by the pool under maintenance but jucuzzi could be used for $100 plus tax pp. The pool water was very cold and salty.
2nd breakfast $37 plus tax pp when it said breakfast was included. We were told after the food was bought on the table. We had to return our French toasts for not being charged extra. That was very disappointed.

There was absolutely nothing to complain about. The entire facility has a calming effect. The whole property was immaculate. The restaurant is 100% Vegan which could be an issue for some.
Everything was beyond my expectaions and I will definitely be returning.
4.0 / 5.0
Excellent facilities, abundant activities with easy schedule to follow. Staff was very professional and helpful.
They lost two massage reservations which was highly disappointing. Had difficulty getting clean towels and restock of simple things like toilet paper. Disappointing to see the same garbage on hallway floor for four days.

Very spacious, modern, amazing surroundings and atmosphere. Very good amenities.
It wasn’t a big issue for me (I stayed two nights) but they don’t clean your room every day.

the breakfast and the location near the lake.
most facilities that they promised are closed - no jacuzzi, no treatments(no workers are available, but the hotel is almost empty), only a swimming pool and yoga.
