Great location. The beach is 10-15 minute walk away. Shops, bars and restaurants within 5-10 minute walk away. Air conditioning, swimming pool and own parking space a massive plus. Bath towels changed mid week too.

The villa is a little tired, some appliances need replacing. Check in paperwork procedure rather time consuming.

The pool area and view

We arrived at Villa Lavandar as advised and the villa was ready within a few minutes. Sonne Real Estate asked us to pick the keys up at the their offices but it was such a hot day we contacted them and they agreed to meet us at the villa. They welcomed us and text us the day before we left and were available throughout should we have needed them. The villa was spotlessly clean, well equipped with everything you need and the air con was fantastic. We had a change of towels mid week. The area is very quiet and although it is close to a road (not a main road) the traffic noise is minimal and not intrusive at all. The hill from Cala Galdana to the villa is very steep and does take it out of you in the heat of the day but if you are moderately fit it is manageable. The pool is fantastic! It is larger than average and was 1.8m in the deepest part; this meant it was lovely to swim in and it stayed quite cool which was very welcome on hot days. The pool was cleaned twice in the week we were there. There is plenty of room around the pool and is a real sun trap. The views are really lovely. The area at the back of the property is large and very private. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone thinking of booking.
