What a beautiful home! Hosts are amazing people. Hope to be back in 3 weeks!

We hosted a team bonding retreat and this was the perfect location! The views were stunning and the pool by the river was the perfect touch we needed after a long day of physical work. My only suggestion would be to add some grippies to the stairs on the pool. We had 4 separate people slip and fall because the stairs entering the pool were so slippery. Other than that it was a wonderful stay and our team has walked away closer than ever! Thank you for an amazing time!

Weekend getaway with family. This home and location was perfect for our needs. The home is beautifully decorated and the host were great to work with. We enjoyed the pool and lake access. Highly recommend this home for anyone traveling in this area. We would love to go back for another trip.

Our stay at Paradise in the Shoals was wonderful from start to finish. The owners are fantastic, the home is so beautiful and comfortable with the location near plenty of restaurants & shopping.
You can tell Jim & Susan take pride in hosting and welcoming others. True southern hospitality.
The home is well stocked with above-average kitchen items, and linens and it really gives you the comfort of home. It was very clean as well.
The pool is wonderful and so relaxing on the lake. Literally steps away from your front door. The area was clean, well manicured and so peaceful.
We honestly had no issues whatsoever, and plan to be back for another girl's weekend soon!

Muscle Shoals Music Studio Tours
This property is amazing and the owners are extremely responsive and hospitable. There are great views of the beautiful river throughout the home and the floor plan couldn't be better. The pool and outside sitting area were also spectacular with an even better river view. If you're travelling to the Muscle Shoals area, I'd highly recommend this property.

Great place!!
We had such a wonderful time! The home was gorgeous! We loved the pool and boating on the lake. The marina was so close! The owners were just precious and very accommodating!! We will definitely go back!! 5 stars!

Great location and amenities
We really enjoyed our stay at Jim and Susan’s house. The pool was enjoyed by all, especially our 5 year old daughter. The boat dock was perfect for fishing and feeding the ducks. We had all of the amenities in the home that we could have possibly needed. Jim and Susan were great hosts.

Lovely, quiet place to stay on the river
We had a great stay here and plan to return this summer! The hosts were incredibly nice and super welcoming, and the pool area and house were decorated lovely. Can’t wait to return.

Relaxing girls trip
My daughter, who recently graduated college, wanted a quick get away before “real adulting” began. This property definitely fit the bill! Great location and amenities. We had never spent much time in the area but it was perfect combination of relaxing quiet time and close shopping and dining options. Hosts were awesome. 10/10 recommend and we will be back!

Labor Day weekend
Very clean, nice location. Friendly hosts or hosts friends ! The neighbors dog was sweet but not who we expected to hang with all weekend… there should also be clarification about the boat dock. Otherwise we enjoyed our weekend!

Peaceful Perfection
We had an amazing staycation!!! 4 adults and 4 children and we had plenty of space. The kids were entertained and contained. They enjoyed fishing off the boat docks. Well furnished and very nice amenities. We will come back soon!!!

Wonderful option for a staycation in the Shoals
This property met all of our expectations and needs. The owners live onsite and were very helpful and friendly. The rental was beautiful and most rooms had a view of the river. Most everything we needed for a pleasant trip was provided. We only had to bring our bathing suits, beach towels and sunscreen. Close enough to town to go grab something to eat but secluded enough to sit out by the pool enjoying the sounds of nature.

Great Property and Waterfront View!
We had a wonderful time at the property! Jim was a wonderful host and responded to our requests for recommendations in the area and was extremely helpful. House had everything we needed and it was wonderful being steps from the pool and beautiful outdoor space to relax and enjoy the view. Any concerns about the hosts living on the first floor are not warranted as we had complete privacy and felt like we were the only ones on the property. Great location near boat rentals, and a short drive to downtown for eating out and access to grocery stores and shops.

Our stay was good. But instructions left inside confusing.
Very beautiful, but too much foo foo on tables and dressers full of personal items not great for kids and nowhere to put our stuff not ever luggage racks to get them off the floor. The people were very nice but we had no clear instructions on how TV 's or remotes worked. No area for smokers to use it wasn't specified.

This is the second time we've stayed and loved it again! The location is great and the view is breathtaking. Great for a short getaway that has everything you need. The beds are super comfy and decor is adorable! We hope to come back again!

Very Nice accommodations
My family and I including our four-year-old son stayed several nights at the property. The finishings and amenities in the rental were top notch and the outdoor patio entertaining area very beautiful. Unfortunately our weather did not allow for too much outdoor activity but it was an enjoyable stay. Future renters should be mindful that the owners do you live in the top upstairs portion of the house. My feedback would be that you hear the owners walking around all during the day and into the evening. It is not as private/quiet as a standalone VRBO might provide. The owner was very helpful in contacting the local marina for us to rent a boat… And easily contacted via text. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again!

Great Family Getaway!
We had a great time relaxing and getting away for a few days. The accommodations were amazing. All of us enjoyed the use of the private pool during the hot summer days. The kids even enjoyed night swimming. Jim and Susan were excellent hosts and our family enjoyed Gumbo the parakeet who had a fun time interacting with us. Will definitely come back again!

Great views
Great place to stay and had plenty of room for two three year olds to run and play. We were able to rent a boat and doc right up to the house! Very clean and beautiful place!!!
