The location is perfect - Bruce was there to greet me and show me the unit when I arrived and his wife baked cookies! The place was perfect and well stocked.

First time Vrbo renter and couldn't be happier. Location was perfect-2 blocks from the beach and about 4 blocks to train station/ restaurants/grocery store. Neighborhood was quiet and we felt very safe walking around even at night. Host met us when we arrived and showed us around. Kitchen was stocked with "starter" supplies (milk, oj, yogurt, water) along with a plate of homemade cookies. Bedrooms were both good size and comfortable. Backyard had outdoor tables, string lights and hammock. Host also provided beach chairs that could be worn as a backpack. Took these to see the air show at Jones Beach on Memorial Day weekend (highly recommend). Slept so much better than at a hotel. Wonderful vacation.

The apartment was very clean and cozy. It's in a great location near beach and restaurants. Host was very quick to respond, easy to work with and very welcoming. I didn't realize it was a basement apartment. We are a tall family and some of the ceilings were a bit low. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Great location by the beach and by several restaurants/deli/bagels. Very spacious for our family of four. The kitchen with refrigerator and coffee maker, nice size TV and the washer/dryer were all an added bonus!

We arrived, and we were greeted in the driveway by the owners. They showed us around. Left us freshly baked cookies, some milk, oj, and some yogurt in the fridge. Everything was clean and organized. If you are above 6'1 you will have some issues walking around the living room space, but the bedrooms, kitchen, and bathroom are perfect and you won't have to duck there. There is a private entrance so you can come and go as you please. We were there for a wedding, so we weren't at the location most of the day but it was a great place to lay your head and very comfortable. It felt like home. The hosts are amazing and if I had to rent again I definitely would.

We had a great time and so close to the beach a short 2 Block walk This place was clean and well-kept Bruce the owner met us upon check-in showed us a round and also left some stuff for us in the fridge to get us started along with homemade cookies from his wife. Unit had plenty of towels, also had beach chairs and beach towels but we just used our own Conveniently located to the main street which has more restaurants than you could imagine overall it was a great trip and hopefully me and my daughters will be back again

This place was great! Very close to the beach and boardwalk as well as restaurants and Park Ave and the train station. It was a short drive to the west end too if we wanted to go see live music. Nice hosts. It was clean and comfortable and didn't smell. Air conditioning worked and there's a really cute area to sit out at night and chat. We liked having beach passes and a couple of chairs to bring. Highly recommend! (One exception - if you are 6ft or taller... the ceiling in the common area was only about 6ft high. I was skimming the ceiling in there. Only that one area. The rest of the place wasn't like that. )

Wonderful! Host graciously showed us aeound the place and there were many nice extra touchessupplied yo make you feel at home. The location was perfect- central and wirhin walking distance to many great restaurants and the beach. We enjoyed the peace and comfort of the roomy unit and sitting in the back garden.

Upon arrival owner informed us that construction has been going on for past two weeks and the crew woke us up every morning. Also banging pipes throughout the night. Absolutely not what we expected. A holiday nightmare which could easily have been avoided if only owners considered our peace and quiet !!!

The apartment was perfect for our family of four, my boys each had their own bed/bedroom. The place was clean with plenty of towels and Bruce supplied the soap, shampoo/conditioner as well as coffee, milk, OJ and yogurts. The location was excellent, one block from the boardwalk and walking distance to supermarket and restaurants. Perfect place to stay.

The property was as I expected and the owners went above and beyond to create a relaxing and welcoming environment. I truly appreciated the MANY extras that awaited our stay especially since we arrived late. Being able to walk to the beach was the icing on the cake. While we did not have time to take advantage of the backyard sitting area, I found myself looking at it longingly and would encourage any visitors to enjoy the beautiful space. Three things that did not bother me, but anyone renting should be aware of. The crickets were loud. (I am used to them, but I think it was only one that felt it necessary to make its presence known.) People over 6'3" might hit their heads every now and then. My husband did. Finally, if you do not run the fans/air, you could have a musty smell. It reminded me of my childhood home it smelled so much like our downstairs that I became quite nostalgic!

Bruce met us as we arrived, showed us the place. Famous cookies I had read about in another review, as well as milk, OJ & yogurt in the fridge. Very nice, personal touch! Beach is a block away, shops & restaurants within walking distance. Beautiful neighborhood,, very clean & spacious rental. Book it! You won’t be disappointed!

We spent five amazing days here. The apartment is great and the location is perfect. Walking distance to beach with restaurant, restrooms and shower at boardwalk entrance. Many more restaurants in walking distance. We enjoyed taking dinner back to their place and eating in the quaint backyard. What’s not to love? I would take note that there is no oven or stove if you plan on cooking. On a personal note, after we left, we realized we forgot something of extreme sentimental value. Bruce and Tamar were kind enough to carefully pack it and ship it to us overnight. These are good people. And this is a great place. As Arnold says, “I’ll be back.”

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Bruce and Tamar's place. A very short walk to the boardwalk/beach. And as the title indicates, there were a lot of amenities that were not listed in the description but were such a plus. Check them out if you are going to stay in the area!

My daughter and I stayed (mostly me though) for the week because she had new student orientation at Hofstra. It was only a 30 minute drive. The owners were awesome and we loved the cookies!! I enjoyed the very short walk to the beach and the provided beach passes. The apartment was beautiful and exactly what I needed to relax and have a few days of quiet while my daughter was on campus. We would definitely stay again.

Had wonderful week stay here as a home base for family visits. Lovely location on quiet street near beach and stores. Thoughtful hosts Bruce and Tamar had fridge stocked with breakfast necessities, coffee, and welcoming cookies. Sensitive to needs during COVID made this a comfortable stay.

Long Beach was a great town to spend a long weekend. Our hostess greeted us with fresh baked cookies. Her home was clean, cozy and comfortable. IF we return to Long Beach, we will rent again.

It is a basement apartment with low ceilings, in a beautiful house with lovely landscaping. The location was absolutely perfect, a block from the boardwalk and a couple blocks from the main strip of restaurants and stores. The apartment was clean and had plenty of space for us. The owners were friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to our next visit.

This is a great rental. Close to the Beach, the boardwalk, and in walking distance to many restaurants and stores. We totally enjoyed our stay and the owners make everything very comfortable. Beach chairs and the beach passes made the whole experience so enjoyable. We were in the area for a concert at Jones Beach, and the travel to the venue was really quite easy.

We had a wonderful family reunion at Long Beach! The apartment was ideal, amazingly clean, and had everything that we needed. Closeness to the beach and LIRR were a bonus and made our vacation very relaxing. It was a perfect holiday!

Stayed at this property for a few days while my daughter participated at the Skudin surf camp. Perfect location for that and all beach activities and right by the heart of Long Beach and the train station. A/C in all rooms made things very comfortable, and the owners couldn’t be friendlier. The low ceiling is no joke, so something to consider if you have a lot of really tall people, but we had no problems, and that’s a minor criticism of an otherwise great stay. Hope we get to stay again!

Advertised listing and other reviews are very accurate. (Ceiling in common living area is quite low so probably difficult for anyone 6 ft or taller). Owners were very kind, professional and responsive. Would stay again!

The apartment is charming, comfortable, clean and convenient. Our thoughtful hosts provide beach passes, and It is a short stroll to the beach and boardwalk. There were beach towels, books, and kitchen necessities in this spacious place. We especially appreciated the Keurig coffee maker. The Stop and Shop grocery store is nearby, also the Long Island Railroad Station is in walking distance. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful, greeting us with homemade cookies. This is our third stay and we look forward to visiting again.

This is a great choice to be within walking distance of just about everything in Long Beach. Lots of space and off street parking, which is really a good perk, as street parking was at a premium, even when we were there before peak summer season. Very nice and accommodating hosts - they provided a lot of nice amenities, better than a hotel. They take great care of the property. One comment - low ceilings so may not be ideal for taller people. Otherwise, if you want a nice quiet place in a great beach town - go for it!

There’s so much to like about this apartment. Bruce and Tamar are welcoming and responsive, ready to answer questions or assist with advice and recommendations. You can park your car in their driveway and not move it again — priceless during high season when streets are crowded and slow. The beach is closeby, and so is shopping, restaurants. Private patio in back so you can enjoy morning coffee/tea or meals outside. Ample closet space, attractive, squeaky clean and comfortable rooms. Kitchen is clean and equipped with the basics you’d expect to use on a holiday. We look forward to coming back.
