This was our second time staying in this wonderful beach house – the first and most important thing is that the property managers are incredibly responsive – a text or phone call brought immediate help and they went above and beyond to be sure we were comfortable. We are a family of 12 and the house had the perfect amount of space for all of us. It’s right on the beach and the beach in front of the house is most useful at low tide - but our “diehard boogie boarder” was out there a lot! There is a nice sandy beach within pretty easy walking/biking distance with parking as well. The property is on a gated road, easy to get in and out and parking was excellent – 4 spaces! Lots of beach and bathing towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. The area down a few steps from the deck looks usable in photos, but now wet and rocky most of the time with coastal changes. We really enjoyed the bike path along the beach. We enjoyed a big family friendly meal at Harpoon Henry’s one night and good take-out barbeque from Heritage. The kitchen is stocked with every cooking pot/pan, appliance, utensil you could need, including spices. Grill was big, plumbed into natural gas and lots of tools. The table top s’mores maker was fun in lieu of the fire pit. Beds were comfortable, linens were clean, plenty of fans were available along with pack-n-play, high chair, booster seat, child’s dining ware. Actual deck area is on the smaller side, we wouldn’t have all been able to sit or dine out there, but there was plenty of seating for dining inside (with views) as well as comfortable couches for watching a family movie. Adults appreciated the nice umbrella and table outside to sit and enjoy a cuppa or glass of wine and watch the surf or the dolphins!

We had a little problem with one of the coffee makers on the first morning, but management was incredibly responsive and provided a replacement within a couple of hours. The location can’t be beat. The house easily met the needs of our multi-generational family, including one member with limited mobility. The elevator was a godsend. We definitely hope to return.

It was Grammys amazing 80th Birthday week! Two of my girls/one husband and four grandkids all out of college, except one. There was room for friends able to visit for the day. It was an amazing place to stay, room for all and accommodations for cooking, game playing, fishing, sunbathing, walking on the beach and generally giving all of us a chance to chill for a week. The beach house was awesome! It was perfectly laid out for 3 families plus a couple of extra single family members. 3.5 bathrooms made the stay simple. Best of all was being right on the beach, no loading up kids and gear to drive to the beach. This left us more quality time to spend together just visiting. Also perfect was the amount of seating for meals and the seating with views of the ocean! All our grandchildren wanted to do was to be on the beach playing in the sand and water! As the family with 3 children had come from the Dallas area of Texas, this was extra special! We had a fantastic week celebrating my husband's (PopPop's) 70th birthday. It couldn't have been any better! Thank you!

6 adults. We relaxed and smiled all day, every day. Stunning water-front home and it is as advertised, except a person needs to be there to really feel how perfect it is. The home has a great layout; the ocean view and sound are priceless; fully stocked everything—everything! We found ourselves sitting on the patio a lot. Walk the shore and get your 10K steps in for the day. Close to the Harbor and San Clemente—walkable if inclined. Costco close. Thank you for making us feel at home.

We are a three generation family who wanted to spend some time together and this rental provided all we wished for and more. Perfect location and views and plenty of space. The orange and lime green decor was very retro but created a fun vibe. House was clean but needs some removal of scuff marks (soft scrub) and some furniture stain removal(Resolve). Some woodwork especially closet doors need sanded and repainted. None of this hindered the great time we had. We would definitely rent again if in the area. We found the management staff and host very responsive and helpful.

Needed large roasting pan ,sugar,and Landry detergent .Master BR amazing great king bed soft sheets pillows ok,nice jacuzzi tub.All the other Bedrooms just ok,need new mattresses,too soft.
Check in process difficult,front door locked instructions great but door didn’t unlock.No response for an hour at 8 pm on Christmas Eve.Front guard gate keeper ,only one was on extremely difficult and rude strictly black and white thinking.The other gate men were helpful and knowledgeable even happy.Lots of wonderful food nearby best Chinese food ever in Ralph’s shopping center Little Asian kitchen?,great pizza at pizza a do-ho .Over all felt over priced Christmas rate,just over 15 thousand for 8 nights,should have gotten a hotel room for 1st night late arrival,just me and took so long to get front door unlocked.Difficulty communicating to management during stay.Would not book again for Christmas

Home is very well equipped even having some spices and condiments. Right on the water. At high tide there is no beach at low tide there is. Looks like steps down were damaged in hurricane but still work if you're willing to treat them like a ladder. Large home we had 11 people and it was spread out and open. Fantastic area just to hang out or even better if you have a bicycle. 2 mi from Dana point harbor

We really enjoyed this location. It was safe and easy to access. The rental is clean and has all the essentials for a fun few days at the beach. Be sure to check the high low tides for the best times of day to enjoy playing in the ocean. We would recommend and hope to stay here again.

We stayed here for our daughter's wedding, and she was a few doors down, it was perfect and wonderful. Jordon was amazing and helpful every time with a great attitude!
The parking and guards were challenging at times. One of the guards was really pretty rude unnecessarily. Multiple people in our group experienced it and commented. Others were ok. We felt if we had an empty spot, we could have someone visit. One of our dear friends left and they told her she didn't have to return her parking pass to keep it and then they wouldn't let us use that spot. I had to go and try to straighten things out. Anyway, that was the only hassle.

The rear patio on the ocean has incredible views and tons of seating. The property management team is very responsive and is quick to address and resolve any issue. The house served us very well. It’s our annual beach vacation with kids and grandkids. Stepping out of the house onto the beach is a must and this house didn’t disappoint.
The only slight negative is the house could use some maintenance. Painting, etc. But we would definitely stay here again.

We had some issues with the auto-lock entry system and could not enter on our arrival. Although Jordan, the property manager, was there in minutes to assist. Anytime I needed anything, Jordan's rapid response was very much appreciated.
We were disappointed in the cleaning staff. The master bedroom was obviously vacuumed before we got there, but all the area rugs were left thrown on the bed along with the larger floor fan laying across the bed. Kind of a bummer to walk into this beautiful master bedroom and not have it ready to view with that much wanted wow factor.
Also disturbing was the condition of the two balconies. The upstairs balcony off the master had a ashtray full of cigarette butts, in a NON-Smoking Unit (?!?!?). On the lower patio an empty soda can and a Champagne pop-top were left for us to find.
The place is beautiful! No Questions. Perfect location. The house can be much improved with some much needed maintenance i.e. exterior paint & rust removal from rails and BBQ.
Do not let this review keep you from checking this place out. It's a winner.
The cleaning staff needs to be addressed. With the additional cleaning charge we have to pay at time of booking, I expected more.
I feel my family left this house cleaner than when we arrived. (other than towels and sheets needing to be laundered).
My family thanks you for a wonderful stay. Great memories were created here.

if for nothing else, the sight and sound of waves crashing the shore line makes this rental worth it. Plenty of space inside, all of the necessary plus extras to keep you busy and entertained. Two couples rented this home for 3 nights in February 2023. We loved the sounds of the ocean and lovely sunsets. The house was clean and the kitchen well equipped.

Beautiful location right on the shore. The crashing waves provided a musical background for our stay. Beds were plentiful and the upstairs master bedroom was incredibly beautiful.
Our only complaint was that some kitchen appliances and devices were dated and/or did not work – the dishwasher, for example, did not work, so we were constantly doing dishes.
In regard to check in, it would have been helpful if I had been asked to provide all the guests' names PRIOR to check in. That would have saved last minute hassle.

Communication was excellent. We had a heater problem and they resolved it quickly. So helpful! Home was clean and we enjoyed the beautiful view of the ocean. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The location of the house was wonderful, the houses furniture was dated and the heater didn't work during our stay. The main TV needed to be rebooted, which I did, but should have been checked and working at time of arrival. With that said we did enjoy the location and the property managers were nice and responsive.

First I want to say we were all pleased with the house. It was very clean...had plenty of ammenities, games, space.
My only complaint is the photos make it look like there is easy beach access by walking down a set of stairs.
I think the pictures or the description needs to be updated...especially for anyone having young children!!!
The metal ladder is not great access...especially having to go down about 15 feet.

The weather was perfect, the view gorgeous (especially the sunsets), and the house was big and well equipped. The kids went down to the sand when the tide went out.

Our stay accommodated to all of my family members, the home itself is absolutely beautiful , what steals the show is the view of the ocean ! It was truly picture perfect! Having the beach accessible and right at the tip of your toes was a dream.

The house was perfectly clean and in great condition. A wonderful way for my family of adults and children to celebrate Grandpa's birthday. Fully stocked kitchen, beach towels and beach toys, and absolutely loved the master bed jacuzzi!!!

We had an absolutely fabulous time at this beautiful beach home. Despite an incredible white water view, the location and security of this location and home is hard to beat. The owner and agent are very responsive to any issues that may arise. There is a caretaker that lives nearby to ensure that things and questions are taken care of immediately. There is nothing like waking up in a king size bed with an immediate view of the ocean. Nothing compares to the sound and motion of the waves breaking beneath the upstairs vista. The food in the area is incomparable. There are many happy hour menus to take advantage of as well. We had much enjoyment of sitting on the patio right on the sand and watching the sea and wild life happen directly in front of you. It is located on a private beach and it is located inside a gated community with excellent security. We sleep with the doors open to enjoy the cool breezes and the ocean sounds with a superior feeling of security. I highly recommend this property to anyone that desires to avail themselves of a unique beach experience.

Spacious and clean home. Beautiful sunsets. Great location for watching the waves, especially at high tide. Not much of a window for swimming as the waves violently crash at the bottom of the access ladder to the beach making it unsafe, but if you're just there to enjoy the views and listening, then this is the place to do it. A few things could have been improved but didn't impact our stay much: the patio BBQ is ancient and needs to be replaced or at least deep cleaned. The entry rug and family room rugs need to be cleaned as they felt really gritty and sticky. The TVs are very small for the size rooms they're in, and there really isn't a place for the fire pit at night as the waves and pebbles splash up to the ground floor deck which is the only place for it to be. Also supplying some black washcloths for makeup removal would be helpful since you aren't allowed to use the white ones they supply for that without being charged a premium.
Like I said, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay but these things would have made it perfect.
