The wide open spaces at the Bittersweet gave us plenty of space to visit, relax, and have meals. All the bedrooms exceeded our expectations. Everyone agreed to come back at the Bittersweet next August for our reunion. We would highly recommend Bittersweet.

This house was just perfect for our group of 14 for a bachelorette celebration. From the time we stepped off the train in Hermann to the time we left, this was the perfect getaway! Everyone was so nice and friendly. We can't wait to go back!

This house worked great for five couples. Everyone had their own bedroom and most importantly bathroom. The outdoor deck was very relaxing. The trolley picked us up and dropped us off from wine and distillery tastings. I would book again.

This was the first time that six of us siblings were able to get together for a weekend away. The Bittersweet Inn was perfect! Lots of room, very clean, beautiful view from the deck. The trolley picked us up, so no need to take our cars around to all the wineries and downtown. We would definitely stay here again! Janet, the property manager, was awesome!

The Bittersweet Inn was lovely, and the perfect place for a family group of 10. We used it as our HQ for a family wedding. It has plenty of space, allowing us to really spread out, and it is comfortably appointed. We were pleased with how clean the property was. It also has a beautiful view of the Hermann area. If we were to make suggestions, it would be for slightly sturdier kitchen utensils (like stronger spatulas) and more forks.

Everything was amazing! Wonderful location and house was fantastic. Only thing I would recommend is black out curtains in the bedrooms. It gets very bright around 6:30am and difficult to sleep in. But would 100% stay again and Cassie was awesome and her communication was excellent. Hermann is such a cute town for a weekend getaway!

We went to Hermann for a family member's 60th birthday and were very happy to be able to stay in the same house. We arrived during a snowy day and Janet stayed in contact with me and made sure the driveway and walk were completely cleared for us.
The Bittersweet Inn was very clean and welcoming. Kitchen utensils, pots, coffee, etc. were available. Renting a house allowed the 12 of us to be together during our visit. It has six bedrooms, 5 baths, and 2 family rooms. There was so much space upstairs we never even utilized the downstairs family room. It has a big dining table where we could all sit around and play games after we came home from the wonderful wineries, distillery, and brewery. It is in Hermann so a short drive to the shops and all.
We recommend this to any group and look forward to returning.

Stayed here with the brides family for a wedding at Hermann Hills. Very spacious house, clean, great common areas and patio, and bathrooms were large and roomy as well. Biggest issue I could see for other parties is the kitchen, which is a little small especially for large groups. We only really cooked and ate breakfast at the Bittersweet Inn, so it wasn’t all that much of a problem for us. Overall had a great experience visiting Hermann for the first time!

This was the perfect house and location for our group! We have family spread all across Missouri and wanted a place all of the women could meet for a relaxing weekend. The house is very spacious and has a lot of communal areas for gathering. The location has a good view of the city, offers some privacy, and has plenty of parking.
Our group chose to stay in and cook on Friday, the kitchen is a little limited on counterspace (though we probably brought way too much stuff!), but does have pots/pans and some cooking utensils. The second refrigerator down stairs was great for extra fridge space!

It was the 10 of us. Our 2nd stay at Bittersweet and once again a great stay. Great location with lots of restaurants, wineries, distilleries and more. Something for everyone. The house was just as was expected clean and relaxing. We were even able to get in early, which was a bonus for us. Visit Hermann and stay at Bittersweet, you will not be disappointed.

The house was very clean and comfortable. We spent most of our time while there sitting out on the spacious deck, and enjoying the super blue moon rising directly in the east. Worked well for eight adults. We appreciated two coffee pots! Minimal issues were addressed quickly by the manager. Unfortunately the DVD player was not working. A quiet neighborhood. Several of us enjoyed taking walks in the neighborhood despite the steep hills. Enjoyed Hermann.

Great location and plenty of room for our meeting/retreat. Furnishing and accommodations were wonderful. The deck was awesome! We took the trolley to explore the wineries and distilleries and we had door to door service which was super convenient. We had a great time!

Plenty of bathrooms!
We loved this property! We come to Hermann often and this has been our favorite house. Everyone requested we book this house for our next stay! There are more than enough bathrooms for our large group of females! We had more than enough room in this large house! It was over 100 degrees so we didn't get to use the deck, but it is a gorgeous view! We will be back!

This house sits on a hill overlooking Hermann, and is even better in person. Beautiful updated decor and colors, lots of space, wonderful cozy, spacious deck for gathering. Friendly host, Highly recommended! Would definitely stay here again.

Bachelorette in Hermann
If you are traveling to Hermann...stay at Bittersweet Inn!! The ten of us comfortably fit with room to spare. It actually sleeps the advertised number of people and the beds are comfortable. It is very clean with a well stocked kitchen. The property manager responded promptly and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend Bittersweet...you will not be disappointed.
I would also highly recommend the Piano Bar and The Hermann 1837 Cellar Bar. Both had great service and fun atmospheres. We had terrible experiences at The Concert Hall & Barrel Tavern and The Tin Mill restaurant. I guess neither place needs business. Really though...we were treated RUDE by employees at both locations. The trolley and winery’s were wonderful. Great trip!

The Perfect House in Hermann
This house never disappoints. If you have a large group it is just perfect. The amazing bedrooms with bathrooms connected or nearby, the deck overlooking the beauty of Hermann, the large living spaces. Also, the rock wall outside the home is perfect for a group picture and so much parking for all of our cars. The trolley comes right to our driveway and in the evening there is a company that will come pick you up and take you home after an evening of fun! We all can't wait to go back next year!

Beautiful Bittersweet
We’ve been to Hermann many, many times and this is the nicest home we’ve stayed in. We have a large group that it’s normally difficult to accommodate but thin home had everything covered with 6 bedrooms and 5 baths, a wonderful covered deck overlooking the town and plenty of room for everyone to kickback and relax inside. We will stay her again…and again and again…

The covered balcony provided a great place to hang out at when it was raining. The air conditioning also did a great job of keeping the house cool on those hot Missouri days.
Only negative was the size of the charcoal grill. It was too small for our group size. Adding another grill would solve this issue.
