Beautiful views …. Peaceful setting. Loved the little apartment we stayed in. Had everything we needed. Owner was very sweet and welcoming. Will stay there again!

This was probably the most relaxing vacation week ever. Sandra's place is very comfortable and quiet. And access to the beach, including parking, was not a problem. We'll be back.

The Waterway Garden Apt is wonderful place to get away from the crowds at the beach but still be near the water. It's location along the Intercoastal Waterway is beautiful and generally very quiet except for occasional boat traffic. It's a great place for bird watching and you might even see other wildlife such as deer running through the property. The apartment itself is very nicely appointed, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Our hostess Sandra was wonderful and a great source of information about the area. Her tip to visit the Inlet View restaurant in Shallotte was one of the highlights of our trip. We would eagerly return for another visit.

Used to come to OIB as a kid in the 70’s and 80’s. Have waterskied and fished by Sandra’s place hundreds of times. OIB has changed so much in the past 40 years, but Sandra made us feel so at home. Her place is cozy, warm, and the views of the intracoastal are spectacular. Highly recommend.

Sandra is a wonderful hostess. The apartment was immaculate and beautifully updated. Everything we needed was provided. The beds were comfy and we slept soundly. The property is quiet and well maintained. We left feeling like we were saying good bye to a good friend. This is a perfect place to relax and recharge. Thanks again Sandra

Our hostess was wonderful. Accommodations were upgraded, and amenities were excellent. Great view across the ICW was wonderful from shaded, padded swing in the backyard, or from the covered deck.

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend with our two dogs and had an absolute blast. The views are great and you could sit in the backyard all day and not get bored. Thank you for having us and we look forward to coming back soon!

From the moment we reserved this property until the time we checked out we were completely comfortable with the process. The apartment is super clean, nicely furnished, and beautifully situated. The setting on the intracoastal waterway is lovely and quiet, yet it is just a quick drive to Ocean Isle Beach. Sandra is friendly and helpful. We hope to return soon.

This place was better than we expected. Very clean and relaxing . It was perfect for us to escape with our pets. The location is close to everything. However, we had a hard time leaving the view that was in front of us. Sandra is amazing and more than accommodating. We will definitely be back sooner than later.

This was the perfect stay for a beach vacation - the Garden Apartment was incredibly comfortable, cute, and spotlessly clean with all amenities needed for two couples escaping to the beach for a safe stay during the pandemic. Close enough to the beach for easy access, but far enough for peace and quiet in the evenings. Sandra was a great host, and the outdoor lawn (facing the beautiful waterfront) had many different picnic areas and a great lawn for watching the sunset and playing yard games in the evening. A bonus is the smart TV with guest accounts set up for everything. Fully recommended with no reservations!

Home was as advertised. Very quiet, well appointed apartment. Comfortable beds. Very friendly and accommodating property owner. Loved the swing overlooking the waterway. Close to OIB but away from the crowds. Would stay again.

We had the best weekend at our little hideaway on the intracoastal! Sandra is wonderful, welcoming, and just an overall perfect host. The apartment was so comfortable in every way. The beds were delightful, the couches were so comfy, and the outside swing was perfection. It is decorated simply and tastefully. Our only complaint is the noise from the upstairs apartment, which can’t really be helped. Otherwise, our stay was perfect and we can’t wait to go back!

We were visiting Ocean Isle for a wedding weekend. This apartment offered a lot of value for the price! Just myself and my husband, but plenty of space for a second couple or family of 4. The apartment is updated and equipped with everything you’d need. The property is very peaceful and offers a beautiful view of the inlet. Sandra is the sweetest! She came by to introduce herself, give us a rundown of the property, and gave us recommendations for nearby restaurants and beach access locations. She was also very quick to respond to questions leading up to our arrival. Beach is a short drive, as well as restaurants and a very nice Publix and other shops.

This is my second time renting and I will rent again! It’s the perfect location and very well appointed. My little pup loves it too!

The house in OIB was in an excellent location, close enough to the beach and resturants but also far enough away for some peace and quite on the intracostal. Sandra was sweet and accommodating, taking out time in her day to brief us on OIB and all it had to offer. Sunset in the backyard was phenomenal and our pup loved it too! We highly recommend this hidden gem.
