We had a wonderful time in Baie St. Paul and especially at Cap Sérénité. We loved relaxing in the house, looking at the beautiful view, and exploring the area around Baie St. Paul. Thank you so much Christine.

Such a perfect home base for the many activities in the area. The view, the hot tub, well appointed kitchen made returning after a hike such a pleasure!

The minute you walk in the house you can’t believe the breathtaking views that greet you, it really is a magical place to stay. Christine was great and gave me lots of recommendations of where to go and places to see, which were all wonderful and you are so centrally located for everything. The house has absolutely everything you could wish for and is beautifully decorated but the views are something you need to see to believe. Truly a wonderful vacation, one we will always treasure

From the check-in to check-out, this was the perfect place to stay. The house itself was immaculate, the views were amazing. It was our base for visiting around the area, and truly most days, I just wanted to sit at the house and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. It was peaceful, quiet, felt secluded but not far away from anything. The beds were comfortable, the sitting areas were arranged perfectly, the dining table provided gorgeous views while we worked our puzzle (which we do as a family on any vacation). By the way the puzzle at the house is VERY challenging! It took all 3 of us finishing it at the 11th hour! The kitchen had everything needed for cooking. We didn't eat out much, though there are restaurants in the nearby town. I enjoyed cooking, eating at the house. No other view would have been as beautiful. I am a walker, and I enjoyed walking in the neighborhood, though be prepared for hills. We drove to the nearby towns, and also to Quebec City a couple of times, once to enjoy the city, the other to visit the waterfalls, which are a "do not miss" fun adventure. Though we were in a French speaking area, ( and we don't speak French) this was never a problem, as everyone we encountered was friendly and very delightful. Christine was the perfect host. She checked on us after check in and a couple of times during the week. You will not be sorry if you book this property.

Our friends arrived first and they were blown away by the beauty inside and out. Christine’s chalet was just as pictured and the kitchen was definitely fully stocked with everything you could need with a healthy supply of the basics in her kitchen. She responded promptly and gracefully to all questions and even called me to verify all was good. Do not hesitate to rent because the pictures do not lie. Thank you

What a lovely home, and a great location. We could spend all day looking out at the St. Lawrence with the amazing views from every room. The surrounding area was worth the trip as well, with the little town of Baie-St-Paul a wonderful place to eat and shop. Christine was easy to communicate with, and directions to the house were straightforward. Overall, I would recommend this home to anyone wanting a peaceful getaway to the Charlevoix region of Quebec.

The home is extremely comfortable. It is well equipped for cooking, and for relaxing, both inside and outside. The view of the St. Lawrence river, from the house is breathtaking. We had a wonderful time!

Spectacular views of the sunsets over the bay from the balconies of this beautiful home made it a memorable experience in BSP. The property is located on a quiet street not far from the town and within an hour of many other beautiful areas in Charlevoix . This is a very warm and welcoming home that brings out the charm of the area. The host Christine has thought of everything to make your experience a memorable one. This property is well equipped for pretty much everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked and equipped. There are games and books available for use. The property manager is very responsive and accommodating. We had been delayed by a day for family reasons and she offered us to stay an extra day as nobody was booked after us. We will definitely be returning.

If like us, you are looking for beautiful winter scenery of the river and mountains, this is the place to be. Quiet surroundings and only minutes from Baie Saint Paul. A bonus was the snowshoe hiking trail discovered minutes from the door. There were however a number of irritants. A TV who’s wires wer disconnected. A damaged dishwasher. A door locking system that was frustrating. And finally garbage bins that were overflowing by previous tenants. Certainly not what we were expecting for the type of money paid for the rental. Christine did her best to help us but these glitches didn’t enhance our experience.

We had a lovely time at this beautiful property. The view was spectacular and the house was well stocked and perfectly prepared. It is on a smaller lot with very steep hills, so make sure that any young children or pets are well supervised! Christine was a most responsive host and we would certainly recommend the house to anyone looking for a property in Charlevoix!

Pictures and listing of property very accurate. The views are breathtaking. The house was very comfortable and made us feel at home the second we walked in. Very private and relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked and we cooked all of our meals while we stayed here. The grill on the deck was also put to use. Perfect time of the year to eat outside. Ample seating inside and out. Very clean. Plenty of firewood for the fireplace and outside fire pit. The hot tub was great for relaxing and well maintained. Our host Christine was readily available for any questions if needed.

The property was exactly as described. Located five minutes from Baie St-Paul, 30 minutes from le Massif and 40 minutes from La Malbaie, my wife and my two adult kids spent a wonderful time in this marvelous area. Fabulous property overlooking the bay, perfect location to stay and enjoy either the area or do nothing.

We loved staying at this house. We were here for 2 weeks this fall just as the fall array of color burst. The house is well appointed, light filled, floor to ceiling windows facing the St. Lawrence with an ever changing light show. The house has a good kitchen. We cooked many dinners, woke up and made coffee in the French press each day, and at least he dining room table facing the St. Lawrence. The house was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and it was great to have access to a washer/dryer. It was a delight to sit on the deck. Christine is a great host and was easily accessed by phone or email for any questions. Close to many wonderful hikes and sites. Would definitely stay here again.

We must tell you how much we are loving our stay here. The light, the air, the vistas still the soul. Each morning and evening we are serenaded by Veerys hiding in the spruce trees. We were looking for a quiet, serene place and have found it. When not taking in the scenery from this wonderful property, we have enjoyed jaunts to Isle aux Coudres, tours up toward Tadoussac, prowling Baie-Saint-Paul and La Malbaie, and enjoying the delicious produce the region offers. If you think the photos are too good to be true, you are wrong. This place is just amazing. We had never visited the Charlevoix region before, but will definitely come back if we have the opportunity, and would stay here again in a heartbeat. The views of the bay are stunning, and the changes of light throughout the day tell you why such wonderful artists have chosen to work in this area of Quebec. It's also a testament to the house's designers (and perhaps the neighborhood association) that one really doesn't see any other properties, even though there are plenty around. Instead, you just see that beautiful view. Cap Serenite is truly well named!

We spent part of our March break at this lovely home while our son had ski camp at Le Massif. As soon as you walk in, your struck by the magnificent 180 degree panoramic view of the St. Lawrence River and Le Massif! My heart literally swelled with the beauty! The colour of the sky changes every morning at sunrise. The home is conveniently located in the upscale Cap aux Corbeaux area - a 5 minute drive to Baie St. Paul restaurants and shops. Every imaginable convenience is available from well stocked kitchen, including fondue pots and excellent coffee machines, lovely bedrooms also with their own views upstairs and downstairs, and laundry facilities. Our host Christine was responsive and attentive to any request. We actually didn't want to leave! Thanks so much Christine for a dream of a stay!

Having flown from California and then driven from Montréal in a fierce snowstorm several hours from Montréal, I was delighted to find the house to be easily accessed via a well-plowed drive. The entire back of the house is floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the St. Lawrence river, including the dining room. You can even see the slopes of Le Massif de Charlevoix! There’s plenty of privacy with the bedrooms on separate floors from the ground level. The house is very well-built, not drafty at all, and quite easy to keep warm, quite a surprise for having so much glass. The kitchen is well-equipped with dishwasher and other appliances. It's delightfully peaceful and quiet in the winter, wonderful for our frazzled urban nerves.
