Had a great time fishing off the dock, got to rent a boat it was awesome!! Very affordable and relaxing vacation, can’t wait to come back !

We really enjoyed the casual atmosphere. The location is right on the peaceful lake! Some mornings there are bass boats entering the lake for tournaments. Security is good with a gated entry! We would have enjoyed improved television reception.

Nice location right on the water. Kayaks were a nice feature. The cabin could use a deep cleaning. Food stuck on dishes in kitchen. Oven did not work. No sharp knives. Dishes had to be washed before use. Linens in the closet were not neatly placed making us wonder if they were clean. Jody came by and was very pleasant.

A fabulous and easy going host! Jody and her husband were accessible and as friendly as they come! The quick replies helped so so much. The house is just as pictured…it was the perfect getaway for my sig other and self. The lake is not busy which for being a holiday weekend was a huge plus! Every neighbor we met were friendly. We used the kayaks everyday and throughly enjoyed our stay so much we are returning for Labor Day. Thank you for a better than expected stay. Looking forward to doing business again and see you in a few months!

Cute cottage steps away from the lake with a beautiful lake view deck/slider doors. Use of pontoon boar for a fee and free use of SUP boards and kayaks was a big plus. Downtown just one mile away. Nice pace to relax!

We had a great time kayaking and fishing. It’s a big lake with many areas to explore. Close to town with many areas to hike. The size of the house was perfect for the 2 of us.

My friend and I wanted a change of scenery after the months of Covid lockdown. We had a wonderfully relaxing 4 days at the cottage. We really had a nice time!It was nice to meet you Jody. Very clean, owner very pleasant pontoon available, kayaks, paddle boat, ready right there for your use , great view. I recommend it , very relaxing.Grandkids loved it.

Jody was very nice and responsive. The house could use a good cleaning and the beds are not very comfy but work for a few nights. The house fit our little family of 4 well and we enjoyed how peaceful it was and the view was great!

When we were pulling away I asked the kids if we should come here again or look for something different and it was a resounding come back! That is my main rating system. Owner was great. Everything was as described. Just what we needed.

We were simply looking for some piece. Away from the crazy world we're facing today. And that's exactly what we got.

This little cottage fit the bill for a quiet, remote, socially distanced get away. We enjoyed meals and sitting out on the front deck, renting a pontoon boat for a day, and complimentary access to kayaks. Jody, the owner, was friendly, prompt, thorough, and helpful with any and all communications.

Y Waite cabin was a perfect little cabin for my family (husband, me, and little one under 1). It’s small and quaint but has everything you might need for a getaway. We loved the access to the beach right across the path. We rented Jodys pontoon for our stay which we loved going on the water every day for cruising and swimming. The cabin is close to the downtown Delton and several restaurants within 20 mins in neighboring towns. We liked Neds and Terrace Pointe. The property is located within a park which includes a public boat launch, jodys three cabins and a RV park with long term renters. The residents were really friendly! The lake is clean and beautiful but doesn’t really have a beach. You can wade in from the shore or swim off of the dock. The lake was very quiet with lots of fishermen but not as many boats as some of the neighboring lakes which we loved. Jody has kayaks, paddle boards, a canoe and a paddle boat for free when you stay. Another great feature. Our only complaint was the cleanliness of the cabin. It was dusty/dirty on the floor and just seemed like the floors hadn’t really been cleaned. Our baby is crawling and her hands and knees were black. Since we had a crawling baby with us I cleaned it up with some baby wipes. The cabin could definitely use to be cleaned more thoroughly after each stay especially considering COVID. Would definitely recommend this cabin!

Right off the boat ramp GreaT place for fishermen! BRING YOUR BOAT OR RENT ONE! good time!

Nice simple clean 2 bedroom cabin within a stones throw of the water. Jody was good to deal with. We had no issues with our stay. All the neighbors at the campground were very friendly and laid back.
