The b&B was perfect. Our room was large and very comfortable. The whole house was very comfy. Like coming home. Carolyn was a doll. Very interesting lady and quite warm and friendly. Breakfast is awesome. She cooks for everyone. Would definitely stay again.

Our landlady!! Carolyn went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our stay in Hudson. Breakfasts were delicious with fresh fruit, cooked eggs or pancakes with bacon or sausages. Our daughter, who lives in Hudson, was also invited, by Carolyn, to join us for breakfast. We enjoyed staying in a large room with a sitting area. After a day being out, the room was a comfortable place to relax and read. Our daughter joined us for drinks there in the evening before heading out for dinner. Carolyn knows Hudson well and suggested several great dinner options and sites to visit. Our daughter even brought her dogs over to meet Carolyn and her dog - all got along very well!

pleasant innkeeper, location served our purposes
was very disappointed that breakfast was not provided because innkeeper had another commitment. did provide a $20 discount per person but kinda broke the b&b vibe and was less convenient when you have to go find breakfast in a town you don’t know

Staying at the Hudson B&B is like being at your favorite Aunt's home! My husband and I were treated like family during our stay. The historic home has been lovingly restored and beautifully appointed. Carolyn was delightful in every way, preparing a delicious homemade breakfast each morning, and giving us tips on things to do. Easy street parking and located within a few blocks of shops and restaurants. We will return!

We were very happy with the lovely property and its proximity to dining and shops along the primary boulevard, after a day spent driving it was nice to get out of the car and stretch our legs. The owner was charming, the breakfast was prepared to order and served in a pretty dining room. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable and we slept very well.
The downtown area was less built up than I expected, because I had hoped to spend time walking through the streets looking at the period housing; but I am sure the waterfront will be better once that is completed.

Everything from the decor, the adorable dog and cats, the insanely comfortable room, to the superb host Carolyn was TOP notch. The b&b was in a perfect location for us to walk around town easily, and we were made to feel so at home. Carolyn is a treasure, chatting with her over breakfast (which was absolutely delicious) was such a treat. We will definitely be back next time we stay the night in Hudson!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and time with Carolyn, who runs Hudson B&B - great and friendly service, intimate feel, lovely cats & dogs around, and spacious rooms. Really recommend and she also gave us useful information about the town, including recent history and dining recommendations.

While we loved the charm of the 1790s restored building, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the proximity to the train and downtown, it was the service Carolyn provided that was most superb. Carolyn made sure everything was right. She carefully and thoughtfully prepared an elaborate breakfast for everyone, finishing the fruit bowl and yogurt with personalized ‘sweet or savory’ entrees. The omelette we requested came perfectly folded with a little garnish of a tomato cut in half with a small sprig of parsley. I would highly recommend staying at Hudson B&B!

Carolyn is a warm and inviting host who is very organized, very flexible, and an excellent cook. The house and the room were absolutely beautiful and the location could not have been better - a few steps from Warren St. but far enough off of it to be quiet and tranquil. Parking was easy. Carolyn was also full of great suggestions for things to do and places to eat.
And last but not least, the pets made everything even better. They were very friendly, well-behaved, and as welcoming as Carolyn.

Carolyn is a treasure. She couldn't have been nicer or more friendly and helpful. The room was exceptional, and her breakfasts wonderful! Possibly the best B&B experience we have had. We cannot recommend this enough.

Host was kind, welcoming and informative. Made you feel at home. Furnishings were beautiful, bedding so comfy and everything was pristine clean. Breakfast was a real treat. Host is a fabulous cook and gives you plenty of options and all was delicious. We would definitely stay again. Great location too!

Our host was wonderful and helped us find a nice dinner nearby. Location was perfect, close to Shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was great. Our room was spacious and along with the entire house well appointed—a delight to relax in.

Beautiful decor, terrific breakfast, plenty of provisions, such as water (sparkling and still) in the room, extra towels, boxes of tissues, extra pillows, good books, etc. and a thoughtful and helpful host. Couldn’t have been better. And in the heart of Hudson. No car necessary.

We had a very comfortable, great stay at the Hudson B&B. Our host Carolyn was warm and welcoming, and made us a lovely breakfast each morning. Our suite was spacious and included all the amenities we needed. The location is on a quieter street just a block from the main street with lots of shops and restaurants.

The location was excellent and we could walk to everything. The 0wner was fabulous and very responsive to our needs related to sightseeing ,food and shopping. As well, she was an extremely warm, interesting and charming host. Our room, which was more like a suite, was comfortable, very clean, nicely furnished and a pleasure to come back to after a long day of being a tourist. We plan to return to Hudson and will certainly book the Hudson B and B again. Our stay was super!

Carol is the reason people like staying in B&Bs. She is not only an incredibly interesting woman, she was absolutely delightful to stay with. We chatted for quite some time and I would be thrilled to keep in touch and visit often! The house is gorgeous, amenities are plentiful, bed is incredibly comfortable, room was absolutely massive for the price per night and you still have all the privacy you could want. Truly a fantastic experience - I especially couldn't recommend it more for anyone new to New York and/or Hudson. Carol has great recommendations and has been in the area for ages so would be an incredible source for new visitors. We'll be returning!
