Great location in Jalon, Wonderful hosts, stunning house, room was excellent, special place to stay in Jalon. Enjoyable breakfast, we only stayed one night but would be good for several nights.

We had a problem with our flight and was unable to stay at casa Mistela, but John and sonja were absolutely fantastic with our situation and couldn't do either to help. Will definitely return in the future.

The breakfast was excellent the whole stay was excellent and the service was above and beyond our expectations

The weather was un seasonally cold, -2 degrees bedrooms were warm and cosy but a little heating would have helped in the seating area. This may not ever be necessary as I am sure the cold was an exception

We had a lovely time at Casa Mistela. It’s a beautiful house, our room was very cute with complimentary items inside and bathroom had a huge shower. The owners are very nice. Tasty breakfast served in the morning, and free parking near the house. Would love to come back in the summer and enjoy the garden and pool. We recommend Casa Mistela!

Really enjoyed our 1 night stay at Casa Mistela. The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. We stayed in the ground floor family room and it was great; spacious, spotless and a wonderful bathroom.

Lovely warm welcome from John and Sonja in their stunning home! Truly a beautifully decorated property it had everything we required for our stay and more. Located on the edge of Xaló town, it was just a short walk into the centre. The package included a help yourself continental breakfast with freshly prepared croissants and orange juice, coffee and a range of cold meats and cheeses, scrambled eggs were offered too. All enjoyed in the stunning rear garden by the pool. Our room came with a small terraced area, power shower, air conditioning, TV, a very comfortable bed, even a coffee pod machine. Can't rate this property or John and Sonja highly enough! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended. We will be back!

Beautiful town house; our room was very comfortable and John super welcoming and warm. Perfect location in centre of Jalon. We enjoyed the pool and the ambiance of Casa Mistela Lovely breakfast accounting for our plant based diet. You will experience great hospitality and we would love to return.

Excellent breakfast! Fresh fruit, cold meat, hummus, avocado, pancakes!! You'll be spoilt for choice. The location is excellent for mountain and beach lovers. Great routes and coves 20 minutes drive. The service is outstanding and Casa Mistela is beautifully decorated. We absolutely enjoyed our stay!

Casa Mistela is a beautiful place. We loved it 😍 John was very friendly and generous, and my husband was happy to meet another marathon man … We also found out that this house is the perfect place for one or two jubilees and partys with friends and family that we are planning for. We had a beautiful, spacious room that was decorated with love. So was the breakfast - lovely. We feel we have found a treasure in Jalòn 🤩

Most important, John the owner made us feel at home, from restaurant advice to cycling routes, he went out of his way making sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. The property is located in the heart of Xaló. Easy private parking. A block or two from town cafes and restaurants. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Dutch pancakes are a great touch. There is an honor bar with coffee, tea, soft drinks, beer and many kinds of liquor, ideal for a mid day G&T or a night cap. The beds are super comfortable, towels plush and each room is special. Did I mention that the beds are super comfortable?. The pool and lounge are nice and cozy. If you like cycling, there is no better location in the Calpe area to start your day. Puerto de Bèrnia is on the backyard and you are at the door of the Pro’s playground. The Velosol cycling bar is at the corner, have a beer and catch a glimpse of the best cyclists in the world.

Our stay was too short. We will be going back.

Owners offered a warm friendly welcome. They offered a good, nutritious breakfast. Hotel is very tasteful decorated. Well located for the area we were exploring. Our bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. We also had somewhere to park our hire car overnight which was a bonus. In addition, our hosts gave us information about what it's like to live in the area which helped us with our property search.

The whole place is superb, tastefully laid out and decorated, lovely pool and garden and the breakfasts are excellent. The hosts Sacha and Joke are friendly, very helpful and a pleasure to be with.
