The unit is actually a detached building with a veranda plus an outdoor dining area. Very private and comfortable.
The kitchen could use an update.

The cottage was very clean and compact. Jin was extremely nice and nice meeting her son as well. She was extremely helpful with our trip planning and excursions. The king size bed was very comfortable and we slept well.Loved the ironed sheets! 😀They also had a few items in the fridge for us!
In the future. I think maybe the pool Lounge furniture should be upgraded. Maybe hand soap and also, a roll of paper towels would be nice addition.

Jing is a great host. It had great access to the lagoon with canoes & SUP plus the pool.
Plus you could hire bikes to get around.
Accommodation was very good for 2 people.
We were not aware it was some distance to shops. This didn’t matter as we hired the bikes. Shops a 10min ride away.

The outer door is easy to pass on the road. Jing was there but didn't see a bell, etc. and went to a neighbor to call. Fact was we were early and didn't have a way of communicating before. However everyone is on whatsapp, so could have used the wifi the evening before to say we were early. Once in (about 5 minutes) there was no issue at all--was just circumstances of that morning I think.

The Location and amenities . The cottage was the perfect size for our family. Parking was included and very convenient. Beautiful views at the infinity pool.

It was right next to the beach, it was fairly spacious, and the pool area was amazing. It was also nice that it had a clothes washer and kitchenette, and had nice outdoor seating for every unit and a parking spot. Guests also had access to kayaks.
It wasn't as clean as it should have been. there were some cockroaches in the dish cupboard, and the cooking pans were nonstick but they were so old that the finish had been badly scraped off and was unusable. There was a large gray gecko living in the living room, the bathroom had holes all over the walls and the window wouldn't really shut. We also had a communication problem and they didn't charge me until right before I arrived (8 months after booking) and that credit card had expired, and their email was
unreadable. The pool chairs need replacing too, as well as neatening up the pool area of old equipment.

The pool, SUPs, and excellent location we’re hard to beat. Doris was on-site the whole time and very helpful.
When we arrived we didn’t realize we should just give a shout over the gate. In hindsight, we’d have worried a little less for 20 minutes had we known to just shout “Allo, Ia Orana” over the gate. Still not a big issue though.

The location is excellent on the north side of the island close to all of the most beautiful attractions

lagoon dream very nice…but everyone wanted cash in Moorea - taxis, restaurants, security deposit, etc…and the snack bar/restaurant across road was closed for construction so owner call local restaurants with pickup service (only one after vivid)
access to food

I really appreciated Dori, who provided the housekeeping prior to check-in & performed the check-out duties. She was wonderful - so nice, personable, friendly, & helpful. Jing, the host, was very helpful via email prior to my arrival (unfortunately, & for some unknown reason, not so during the week I was at the property).
Remote location requiring a car rental; gate entry issues; unexpected general lack of support/assistance & misinformation from host (Jing) while at the property; condition of the bungalow (broken fans, a/c inadequate due to unit placement in a blocked corner in a back room; exposed wiring, cobwebs, dirty floors, damaged walls & peeling paint); no housekeeping services during my week-long stay without being charged extra; required to take out garbage & recycling daily to the bins located elsewhere on the property; inadequate & non-existent basic supplies (toiletries, toilet paper, paper towels, towels, etc); only one bottle of water provided for the entire week, "daily breakfast" was only one tray of fruit (bananas, mango, pineapple) & 1/2 loaf of packaged white bread in the freezer upon arrival, apparently meant to last the entire week I was there, because nothing else was brought; washing machine spin cycle didn't work &, since there was no dryer, all wet items (including the towels I had to launder several times while there) wouldn't dry outside on the clothesline, because of the expected daily periods of tropical rain - the only way I got anything to dry was to hang things right in the small space of the a/c unit & ceiling fan cross current in the tiny bedroom all night, while having to sleep in a freezing room. I ended up having to waste time & money to purchase a case of large water bottles, more toilet paper, paper towels, toiletries, & breakfast food to last the week, even though I paid for seven days, yet only received the same amount of provisions as if I had only stayed for one day. The room directory included a list of what a guest would be charged for breaking or stealing room items, presented as a warning & unjustified assumption of theft. While I thoroughly enjoyed everything else about my trip to Mo'orea, the way I was treated while staying here was exclusively the low...

Great location just across the road from the private swimming pool with a lovely outlook across calm waters. Jin & Doris couldn't have been more helpful & took time out to show us around & tell us about the local area with its cafes, restaurants & amenities.
The only thing we were uncomfortable with was driving into the accommodation as access is via an automatic sliding door which is great for privacy but not so easy to drive into from the road. It's not a biggie once you're used to it but it helps to set your rental car's odometer for each trip so you can find the exact location after dark. (Apparently, even the locals often have trouble finding their way back as there are no street lights anywhere & in the tropics sun sets around 6.00pm each day:-)

almost everything!
loved it all.

Good location near excursions, public beach and good restaurants
The website misrepresented the quality of the accommodation. Jing is not a friendly host and distances herself as much as possible. Not quality accommodation looked more like trailer park and unwelcoming vibe especially for the price. least favourite place we stayed at out of the 5 accommodations in Moorea. Purely commercial operation. Pool itself nice although we noticed 2 cameras. overuse of security cameras.

The cottage was very clean, and had everything we needed for a multi day stay. We loved the pool area, great views of the water and very relaxing.

It was amazing, the only thing we thought is at the pool area all the bar stool etc were always packed up behind the bar. Think it would be good for them to make use of this and use the bar as it would be a lovely sunset spot

Super comfy bed -- hands down more comfortable than the beds at the 5-star resorts on the island.
Amazing private beach and pool area, felt like I was in a hotel pool area, but also at a private beach, and also I didn't have to share it with other guests (though I imagine there were other guests that used it).
Host was friendly, attentive, helpful (and I had lots of weird requests like holding onto my keys so I could go snorkeling), as were her staff.
It feels a little removed out of the way of the main cluster of shops/restaurants/hotels/human bustle, but still an easy drive to the things you want to get to (in both directions).
And there were delicious local fruits and juice waiting for me on my arrival!

The fruit provided in the fridge for breakfast was excellent.
The bungalow was spacious, and had good facilities (washing machine, air con, hob)
The garden was very relaxing and quiet.
This place has clearly recently changed hands, and the new owner (Jing) is inexperienced, and just doesn't seem to care.
She booked us a taxi to pick us up from the ferry when we arrived. But our connecting flight was delayed, so we missed the ferry. We gave her 4 hours notice, but she still made us pay for the taxi. She hadn't told the company we'd not be on the ferry, and they had turned up and waited. She showed us their cancellation policy (100% on the day), but we felt she'd not even tried to save us that payment. We also suggested she should at least warn her guests what they're signing up to.
She also failed to organise a replacement taxi from the ferry, and so we were left in the dark, organising our own transport to Lagoon Dream. The taxi driver told us it was a 4000F fare, but the owner still charged us 4500F.
The bar advertised on the site simply doesn't exist. It clearly used to, but is now just a storage space for cushions. The swimming pool is 7m long.
Worst of all, when we asked her to book us a taxi for our departure, she booked it for the wrong day! She thought we were leaving a day earlier than we'd booked for. We actually had to show her the booking.
All in all, it just felt like she was taking us for every penny she could, while doing the bare minimum.

This was the second time that my wife and I stayed at Lagoon Dream, and we absolutely love it. The bungalow met our needs perfectly and was well equipped and clean. The location is great with our favorite restaurant (Snack Mahana) being directly across the street. Access to Coco Beach and stores are within walking distance. The owner is very gracious and was a big help booking activities. The pool and beach area are incredible and are a great place to relax following a day exploring Moorea. We will be back.
We loved everything about Lagoon Dream including the "local feel". We stayed four nights and will probably stay longer next time.

Jing was a great host and very helpful for arranging activities. The seaside pool is amazing and we liked having kayaks available to tour the lagoon.
The walk to restaurant and market choices are somewhat limited.

We had an amazing time at Lagoon Dream. The host (Jing) is very gracious and arranged various activities for us. The accomodations, location, and pool/beach area are all excellent. It is directly across the street from our favorite restaurant, Snack Mahana.
Lagoon Dream is amazing. We loved everything about it.

Katherine is, by far, the best part of this arrangement! She's an absolute gem. Reach out on WhatsApp and she'll organize whatever you need, even ahead of the trip - rides from the airport, dinner reservations, tours, and more. She makes breakfast every morning, complete with fresh fruit, pastries, coffee, and tea. She's fantastic!
This place has a totally private pool for visitors, as well as a private "beach". A beach is generous, as it's a small strip of rocky land, but there's a small boat slip for easy entry and exit from the water for swimming, as well as using kayaks, which are provided on property.
The garden is full of flowers and fresh fruit, including passion fruit. They're super delicious and found their way into our breakfast many days. One thing to note, if you're afraid of or grossed out my lizards - there are geckos everywhere! They found their way into the bungalow often but we didn't mind, they were super cute.
While the bedroom was very small (literally, the size of the bed, no walking space), there is ample space in the living room and on the porch, where we ate breakfast every morning. There are also cute little outdoor tables and chairs around the property for dining. The A/C in bedroom worked great, as did the fan in the living room. The bedroom also had a safe and all the doors to the bungalow locked well, plus the property itself is gated for extra security. We never doubted the safety of our possessions.
This place is no frills. It looked like it had been something at one time, but has since become fairly rundown. The bungalow itself was nice but the pool / beach area had a lot of unmet potential. For example, there's a bar next to the pool. Would be fantastic with a bartender, a fridge or freezer, etc. but it was unmanned and looked like it hadn't been used in a few years. Similarly with the adorable swing by the water. Looked cute and would be a great place to watch the sunset, but the wicker was falling apart.
The bungalow had very few outlets. There's a tiny, though pretty full kitchen but it's missing basic implements like a can opener, corkscrew, and bottle opener. It's also missing cooking basics like oil, salt, pepper, ziplocs, tin foil, so if you want to cook, you really have to fully stock the place. Similarly, there's a washing machine but no detergent and no dryer (clothes line, but a limited number of pins).
There's not a lot in walking distance. Katherine will help with rides (she has a cab driver she works with), though they're quite expensive. It's a little bit of a dead zone - a lot of restaurants will send a car to pick you up for dinner, but this place is located just a little too far from the towns on either side of it, such that only 2-3 places will pick up. If you don't rent a car, you'll end up spending a good amount on cabs.

The breakfast was good, quantities and quality.
We had the bungalow near the road, it was very noisy, we were the only clients.
The host tell us not to pass by booking, that it's better to call them directly.
The noise

The close proximity to the private beach! It’s right across the road. There is a large pool and really comfortable sunbeds and a fridge so you can store beers.
It’s next to Snack Mahana which does amazing food and handy for getting drinks.
The villa is big and the bed is very comfortable. Has good aircon, although only in the bedroom. But, we left the bedroom door open so the cool air circulated.
The kitchen is very basic. But we only cooked pizza, and pasta and made sandwiches so we didn’t need much more.
You don’t get clean sheets or towels. You have to do your own laundry (there is a washing machine)
