The views are stunning and the house was excellent.

The driveway is a bit tight

The property is very spacious both inside and out, with lots of different areas for families and friends to have communal activities as well as space away from each other if needed! Bedrooms are all a good size with comfy beds and furnishings. The living areas were good - lounge had a couple of sofas which were older but comfy. The dining area had a table to seat 6 easily, and the kitchen was large with all of the white goods you'd expect. Tap water is safe to drink. Outside was the best bit of the finca for our family - the terrace outside the kitchen was our home for the 2 weeks we stayed at the property. Great views, plenty of furniture and overall feeling of space made for a lovely experience. The pool was safe and clean - not too deep and had plenty of seating and plants to make it feel both private and attractive to look at. The property is about 15mins drive from shops in Santa Brigida where there is Spar and local supermarkets with plenty of excellent choices in food/drink. Las Palmas is within about 30mins drive and is bigger town with more choice in shopping and food. The property is quiet, so there are no noisy neighbours/tourists or deliveries to worry about. Also, it's in an area of fantastic beauty surrounded by mountains and valleys, and as it's relatively remote with no street lights and dark skies, the stars at night are something special.

Overall, it was a great property with a fantastic owner in a lovely area. Would recommend and will probably be back!

The property is in a very quiet and beautiful location so it is very peaceful. It also has a lot of character due to the age of the building, the quaint décor and layout of the rooms. Some doorways are low so we had to be careful not to bang our heads but this was ok once you got used to it. The owner was very helpful and had left us a welcome pack of food basics which was a nice touch.

Access to the property is via a very steep track with a hairpin bend halfway down. This made it difficult to drive in and out and there was a constant fear of burning out the clutch as part of the route has to be done in reverse gear! As a car is essential for this location, this made things a bit awkward. There is nothing within walking distance apart from a small mini-market so, for restaurants and things to do, you need to drive.
