Kudos to the owner for accommodating us, thanks! We loved the island, enjoyed the hikes and beach scrambling. Cottage is nothing fancy but we aren’t fancy people.

This little cottage is such a comfy place to unwind from every day life!! It is compact and easy to get around in. The back porch is so private and quiet. At night it is so quiet and restful that you get the best night’s sleep.

Proporty wss just as described. Bed was great. Good place to stay.

We had a plumbing problem, but the host had it fixed that day. The cottage was clean and comfy. The island was beautiful, and the locals were very friendly. We would love to stay again.

Needs more trash bags and professional cleaning. Shower curtain was atrocious! We were not comfortable using shower.

We had a great time at the charming cottage! Perfect in size for us and our golden retriever who loved walking and swimming in Peaks. The cottage had all the basic amenities and very clear instructions on check-in and check-out!

With 4 of us it was tight, but the perfect house for 2 (or maybe even 3). Owner was responsive, and Peaks is always a great time. Thank you to the owner for letting us stay in your house!

Owners are extremely quick to response and any information needed. Our car battery died and owner was walking the island at 7am to help get us jumper cables! Cottage has everything you need for a great vacation.

We had a great weekend on peaks while attending a wedding on the island. Very convenient location for the ferry and walking to the restaurants. Very easy check in. Cute cottage and we were able to bring our pup with us!

We loved this place it had everything we needed including air and heat we needed both during our stay! It is reasonably priced and conveniently located to the ferry landing and the backshore. Battery Steele was amazing so was picnic point. We will definitely come back.

My boyfriend, and I + our two pups absolutely loved our stay. It was perfect for a long weekend away on the island. We had everything we needed - it was clean, cozy and the front deck was awesome to relax on. We loved that it was on a quiet road and we will certainly visit the cottage again. Highly recommend!

Perfect for the two of us and our dog - charming, fully-equipped house with lovely outdoor spaces to sit and comfortable chairs throughout for reading. The bed was great, ditto the shower, kitchen appliances, etc. We took some wonderful walks on Peaks and enjoyed the quiet. The host is very responsive and kind.

Wonderful cottage/cabin on the Island. Nicely decorated, very clean, lots of amenities. Host was very accommodating.

This small cottage was clean, however the pictures do not show the other cottage that is directly behind it. There are only blinds in half the cottage. We felt like we were in a fish bowl with no privacy, especially with the front door not having blinds or a curtain either. It was way too exposed to neighbors and people walking.

I attended a wedding on Peaks Island with my wife and 1 year old son. This cottage had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable, and was very close to the ferry/venue. Will definitely stay here again when we come back through.

Cottage was cute & cozy and had most things you’d need. Bed was comfortable. Has 2 great porches for relaxing and outside dining. The gas grill is a plus! Is a good value & I hope to stay there again! Really enjoyed my stay.

This property was listed as sleeping 4. Unfortunately, when we got to the cottage, we discovered that the sleeper sofa was broken. I texted the owner who had her son call us. Her son told us that it had been broken "for awhile" and they were very aware. Instead of doing the kind thing- alerting us ahead of time so we could make alternate housing arrangements- they kept that information to themselves and advised us to simply use the plastic milk crate on the porch to prop up the head of the sleeper sofa. This did not work as an adequate solution as it was not tall enough. My husband and I ended up sleeping on a completely uneven bed. It was the most uncomfortable that we have ever been. Additionally, the floor was gritty and did not appear to have been swept prior to our arrival and the wooden beams on the ceiling had large amounts of dust hanging from them. I should also add that 3 windows in the small living room/kitchen area do not have blinds or curtains- including the one directly beside the sofa- so there is no privacy from the outside when you're sleeping. There were also no pillows for the sleeper sofa. With that said, we let our children sleep on the actual bed which was comfortable. I would not recommend this property and would absolutely never stay there again. It was a waste a money, and we would have stayed elsewhere if we had been given notice of the broken sleeper sofa.

The house is a cute little cottage with a charming front porch with rocking chairs. We stayed there with our almost 3 year old and 6 month old. It was a little bit hard with two young children because the wall to the bedroom is not a full wall, so was difficult to light or sound proof for bedtime. However, we managed. Would be ideal for a couple not needing too many frills but wanting a nice home base from which to explore the island. Was easy to get in and out.

Very nicely appointed small space. As with many Peaks properties, neighbors are very close. The lock on front door a bit confusing...two sets of directions, one for key and one for electronic lock.

Had a great stay! Clean, great location, appreciated the AC, gift basket was a nice touch! Thank you!

A beautiful cottage for our vacation on Peak’s. Easy to walk to the beach and downtown area. Nice quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed sitting on the porches reading. Everything we needed for a wonderful trip.

always enjoy this spot. walking distance to beach/downfront/ food places. took the ferry to Portland twice to our favorite restaurants!!!

Overall this is a great place to stay. Close to the ferry and other places downtown. The property was in great condition, perfect for just the two of us. We were on Island for a wedding so did very little cooking but the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans etc. Towels, washclothes, dish towels were plentiful. Minor issues were there was zero television service of any kind despite the listing. The owner is aware of this and seemed like she wanted to address it. A less than a $100.00 roof antenna would give plenty of local broadcasts along with the NBA finals which we wanted to watch. Other minor thing was the squeaky floors. Most people it wouldn’t bother at all, I am not one of those people. Definitely rent this place if you can, you won’t be disappointed!

Perfect stay for a wedding weekend. We had everything we needed for a wonderful mini vacation on a very special island.
