Stayed 4 nights at the Surf Shack; could have easily have stayed longer. The grounds were beautiful and the beach access extremely close. Also, the hot tub was the perfect way to end the day after hiking, kayaking, and exploring!

Aside from the low ceiling in the bedroom (my partner is 6'5" and had to duck a little!), our stay was awesome. The private garden, outdoor shower, hot tub, and songbirds made our stay special. Beach access is right across the street, and the bed was comfortable. All amenities were available including extra soft blankets and hot tub shoes. :) The host was attentive but in no way overbearing. I really hope I can come back some time!!

A well-appointed, spotless, rustic cabin a two-minute walk from Chesterman Beach. Perfect for two people. It was our second visit to this location. Bring or rent your bikes to ride the new trail from Tofino to Ucluelet and then relax in the hot tub. Clean, quiet, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

It was a lovely quaint property, the private back yard was lovey, the attention to detail was noticed, it was the perfect place to wake up with the ocean sounds and birds. Would definitely recommend and book again!

What an amazing place to stay! Seconds from the beach, hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking, super cute shack perfect for 2, clean with "everything" you could ever need! Will definitely stay there again when we return to Tofino!

Had a very lovely time at the surf shack, equipped with everything you need to decompress, great bathroom products and atmosphere. Would recommend staying here and plan on coming back.

The cabin was so cozy, uniquely decorated and fully equipped with anything and everything you could ever need during your stay, the cabin was immaculately spotless clean, the hot tub felt so good after our long bike ride, walking the beach and being so close was exactly what we were looking for. So close to town, had a great Anniversary dinner at The Shelter. Highly recommend the Surf Shack

My daughter and I had an amazing vacation at the surf shack. We loved the location, the property, the hot tub, and the bed is so comfortable. Communication with the owner was seemless. We would definitely stay again, and miss it already.

Great setup. The place is perfect for 2 people with a tucked away private feel with a trees/garden creating privacy. Very close to the beach. The place was great and recommend it. We happened to be caught in a snowstorm so a pretty unique experience.

The shack really is a shack but it is a lovely one. Very well equipped with everything you need and very clean. The bed is super comfortable. The hot tub is wonderful and in a very private garden.

Loved the surf shack. It had everything we needed and more. The sky light in the bedroom was a nice touch. The beach was right across the street and the morning walks were the best.
We used the hot tube and barbecue and enjoyed the privacy of the backyard patio.

Clean comfy basic
The surf shack is clean comfy and basic for what you need. The bedroom is not made for anyone over 6’ the ceiling is super low, there is a cool sky light too bad it was not able to be seen through because it needed a good clean from the outside. Would stay there again the beach is across the street and we spend most of our time there anyway. Hot tub felt great after a day of surfing and biking.

Stay at the Surf Shack
It might look like a shack from the outside but it’s cute and cozy inside. Hot tub and bbq outside. Steps to the beautiful beach and 10 minute drive into town. Definitely perfect for a little rest and relaxation.

The Perfect Getaway
The surf shack was the perfect place to stay for our mini honeymoon in Tofino! The location is excellent (just a short 2 minute walk to the beach and a quick drive or bike into town) and the place itself is so homey and welcoming. We particularly loved how private the garden/hot tub is, and spent many of our nights enjoying the stars from there. We highly recommend this place!

Little personal touches like the cold water in the fridge and the chocolate bar meant so much to me. Also the place was very clean and comfortable. Lots of amenities and privacy. The location is so ridiculously close to the beach. Did I mention the privacy. Looking forward to my next stay !

Great property near Chesterman Beach
This was our second time staying at Barbara's property and it was again a great stay. It is a less than 5 minute walk from the beach and has everything you need for a stay in Tofino. Would definitely stay again!

Cheery cabin and great location
This quiet and private cabin was perfect for two. Great wi-fi, TV selection and nicely stocked kitchen. We did not use the hot tub, but it was sparkling clean and set in a private back yard with lounge chairs. Comfortable bed with lovely duvet and gorgeous quilt. We just used the quilt as the cabin was a perfect temperature. Right over the bed is a skylight with curtain cover., which makes the bedroom very light during the day. The whole unit is decorated in pale yellow, blue and greens. Very soothing. Enjoyed having our car two steps from the door - so convenient. We found it was best to back from the road into the parking area, making a sharp turn around the front hedge on the driver's side. Minutes to beautiful Chesterman Beach and about 10 minutes, if that, to downtown Tofino. We'll be back!
