House was very clean and was comfortable except for cold. Weather was very bad but there should always be a plan B in hospitality. All of the above can hopefully be fixed for next visitors.

No heating over the 3 days, house cold on arrival. Towels were damp after first shower and remained so thus no further showers. Small bottle of shampoo would be a thoughtful gesture. No light in bathroom. Only mirror in the house was small bathroom one. Niamh advised hairdryer was on a shelf in the wardrobe, no shelf and no hairdryer though we searched everywhere. This was important as we chose the location because we were going to a wedding in Lough Eske Castle. Milk for a cup of tea would have been preferable to the bottle of wine though we knew this was a nice gesture but after a long journey... Directions given were for house on the right it's actually on the left, number 20 in a house with 17 houses so localswere confused! Ashdoon House is not written on the house. Dogs barking indicated residential area with high tolerance levels. Child's gate at the bottom of the stairs was slightly hazardous for elderly person. Final irritation was when we discovered tv had no irish channels and when my husband wanted to watch a match at 2pm he rang Niamh who texted back to say he could watch it in the pub. Ouch after paying above average rates in expectation of a good service.
