This property was absolutely perfect for our family of 4! Everything was as described. Larry was such a communicative host also. The place was super clean and well stocked (one paper towel roll, one roll of toilet paper, a few trash bags, dishwasher pods, K-cup coffees, a few tupperware, handsoaps for bathroom and kitchen, small thing of Dawn dish soap, body wash in shower, Febreeze in bathroom, etc) We will absolutely be back to this property again! One thing to note and this is not a bad thing - but if you sleep hot, there are not ceiling fans in the bedrooms so bring a small fan for the nightstand. Again, not a negative thing, just something to note for sleeping preference.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lake Junaluska. The apartment was clean, spacious, and quiet. The owner is very responsive and made sure everything went smoothly for our stay. (He even mailed us a stuffed animal that our sone had left by mistake!).
There are many things to do around the lake and golf course just across the street. Very convenient to Waynesville and Maggie Valley. A nice place to unwind and relax. Thanks for your hospitality!

The only view from the Starstorm Mountain apartment is from the deck. There is no view from inside the apartment. Unfortunately, it rained every day of our visit except the first day. We did enjoy the deck on that first day, but spent the remaining time in the cave. The information regarding the apartment stated that there is a fireplace. We looked for it expecting a woodburning or gas log fireplace. We finally discovered a fake fireplace in the cabinet under the TV. While it did put off some heat it certainly didn't rate as a fireplace!
The apartment was big and comfortable. The unit was clean and well-stocked. Our main issue was with the lack of a view since that is our main reason for going to the mountains.

The apartment was beautiful. It is just as described in the listing. The owner was very communicative throughout the entire process. The view from the bedrooms and patio were stunning.

The unit was immaculate when we arrived and very well stocked and decorated. It definitely exceeded expectations, and furthermore, was very conveniently located. The host is communicative and accommodating. The whole stay from check-in to check-out was seamless. It seems they have thought of everything! The whole family enjoyed this place! Highly recommend.

Larry was amazing! We had a family emergency and he was very helpful and kind. He provided lots of information on the area, and the check-in/check-out process was easy. The place was comfortable, and clean. Exactly what we needed! Highly recommended.

The apartment is lovely! Walking distance to the lake. The town is still close to Asheville and the mountains. It was a bit drafty in winter, but the heat works well so we weren’t cold. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect! The check in process is very easy and the agent was always available if I had any questions. There is a beautiful view of the lake. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. I recommend this house to anyone.

My cousin and I were delighted with this apartment. We felt very safe, and we were very comfortable. The parking was very convenient. The deck off the front door was just delightful--wonderful for morning coffee and delightful in the early evening. The host has truly provided every comfort any guest would require. Any questions we had were answered within minutes. We are looking forward to returning to this wonderful apartment. I enjoyed the walk around the lake every morning on the lake path.

I was struck by how clean and cozy this apartment is. Great kitchen space with everything anyone could need for any cooking adventure. The bed was very comfy as were all the spaces. Any time I asked for information, the host was quick to respond. And the bonus was a lovely neighborhood for walks where everyone greeted me with friendliness. And a short walk to the lake for more robust workouts. So glad I got to stay here.

We visited the NC mountains to go to Berm Park mountain bike park. This place was close to the park and other attractions. We play golf and also went fishing! The house is clean and comfortable. Larry provided lots of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Thank you!!

We had a great time. It’s was a awesome get away. The house was prefect for the boys we had a room and they had a room. You could see the lake and it’s a great place to get a good run in. We can’t wait to go back.

The apartment was fully furnished, even coffee and salt and pepper. It was very clean with nice decor. Nestled next to the woods, could see the mist rising off the lake in the morning thru the trees from the deck, which we also liked the torches in the evening, a nice touch. Larry kept me updated prior to the visit, gave good instructions about a few things. Given their friendliness he and his wife are in the right business.

My wife, 16yr old daughter and I stayed here on a quick weekend trip. Very clean and cozy. This is the basement of the homeowners so my family was not sure how that would be. It was fairly quiet and never really seemed like it was truly a basement. Has all the amenities you'll need and the homeowners was attentive and very nice when we actually met . I recommend

We used Lake Junaluska as a "home base" for a trip to Asheville, Pisgah National Forest and the Smoky Mountains. It was a great choice! The property is clean and perfect for a traveling family to have their own space and unwind at the end of a busy day. Larry gave us great information/recommendations before and during the trip and was a wonderful host. We were very busy, but this be a great stay by itself- just to enjoy the lake, walk around and eat out. If we're ever out this way again we'd be glad to go back!

Nice and clean, well equiped, quiet neighborhood
Stayed 2 nights while in town for skiing. Very clean place, comfy beds, tvs in both bedrooms, free kueurig coffee was a nice touch as well. Natural light was great, well lit at night as well. Would stay again

Beautiful home by Lake Junaluska
We had a wonderful stay in a home that was setup just for a small family like ours. Clean, stocked, and convenient. We were very pleased with all the amenities and the description of the property being so accurate. Our stay was phenomenal and the view on sunrises and sunsets from the deck were amazing. If you book your stay here please be sure to take the walk around the lake it was rejuvenating. Thank you Larry for such a great stay.

The Perfect Girl’s Trip
Thank y’all so much for the perfect relaxing girls vacation! The property was better than described! The kitchen was perfect for cooking. The property itself is very close to the lake if anyone wants to walk around it! Lake Junaluska is so close to both Waynesville and Asheville that this property is a great base camp! We did one day in Waynesville and then a day in Asheville. We also drove the Blue Ridge Parkway one day…but each day we came home to paradise at Lake Junaluska! Our hosts were amazing! Thank y’all so much!

Wonderful place in town close to everything. The place was large bright and very clean.
The two bedroom was large with a spacious kitchen and family room. The place was very clean and homey. I would recommend it highly.

Quiet and clean
This is very comfortable for two people. It was very clean with a well appointed kitchen and bathroom. For us the drawbacks were not enough natural light and not walking distance to the event we were there to attend. Having stayed in many houses in Lake Junaluska over the years this ranks as one of the best. The host was exceptionally good at communicating the details and making sure our stay was comfortable.
