Our experience was very good. We always love coming here and hope to continue the years to come. My only complaint is the unruly and rude kids who came in on the Thursday before we left. Loud, running through condo late at night, riding skate boards on deck and an electric scooter. Running around the property at late hours being loud. No parental control. Thankfully we did not have to deal with that long. But overall it's always a great time.

We reserved this condo last minute and the management company was wonderful!! We arrived early and we were granted entrance without any additional fees which was a huge plus as we had a 2 year old and we were concerned how to entertain for several hours. I highly recommend Bender Vacation Rentals!!

My sister and her husband had a trip planned to Washington state but due to Covid the trip was canceled at the last minute. Since she had already taken the time off from work, they still wanted to take a trip, and decided to go somewhere south. I had stayed at the Sandpiper condo several years ago and enjoyed it, so I suggested they go there. She asked me to help her make arrangements and to join them. So I googled Sandpiper condo in gulf shores and made arrangements 2 days prior to departure all on my phone. There were several units to choose from being just after spring break and before summer vacation. I chose 6A because it looked very nice in the pictures and because it was halfway between the elevator and the stairs to the beach. The view from the deck was amazing too. The office staff was very friendly and helpful getting our information and codes to us. The unit was very nice and well kept, we were all very pleased. We enjoyed shopping, playing mini golf, go carts. We got one good day at the beach, the rest of time it was cloudy and 2 red flags! So we just enjoyed walking on the beach. On the second day there, the keypad on our door would not always accept the code, and then it got to where we were afraid to all leave at the same time because we might not get back in. I called the office and they sent someone right away. He fixed it quickly and we never had another problem. Overall we had a great time. I can highly recommend using Bender realty and the Sandpiper condominium, we’ll come back for sure.

Condo was nice but towards the end of the week we had 2 people staying in this condo get sick because the ceiling started leaking in furnace closet which we were not aware of until the last night when it came through the bathroom ceiling and hall. Besides having to buy medicine to recover from the wet insulation and breathing it in ,we had a nice time .

Stayed Jan and Feb of 2016. Kitchen was very well supplied with anything a cook could need. However not enough storage for renter's food. Living room furniture looked dirty and the arm chair was very uncomfortable. Beds were very comfortable.

We love the Sandpiper, great location. Close to the restaurants, churches, grocery, theater and Bodenhamer ! The biggest downfall is the furniture, old, worn out and really needs to be replaced ( like a couple of years ago ) if furniture updated and bigger beds, this would have no problem being rented all year long !

We have been at Sandpiper for six years and will attempt to be back next year. It has been our experience in the past that furniture is not updated. Most is broken down, not supportive for us thAt stay for longer periods of 's different living there rather than visiting for a week. Thanks , looking forward to next year!

Clean, comfortable - all the amenities that one would need. I have been enjoying a stay at the Sandpiper annually for 30 years. The upkeep is phenomenal -- it looks "new" each year when I arrive on the outside. AND, the inside of the condos are well taken care of (updated), as well.

View of Gulf was great. very easy to walk out and set up on the beach. condo was clean and had cool AC. pictures accurately represented condo. had a minor repair we needed to get done to our van and Bender made a referral to a great auto repair shop. The overall stay at this location was very good. As a first trip to Gulf Shores we made a good choice and could see returning here in the future. We were very surprised as to how many people were from near our home town. It seemed like home away from home. Stayed at Sandpiper several times over the years for a family reunion. This unit was in an ideal location for us. The beds were not comfortable...and the advertised queen bed was a double...but no other complaints. Many good places to eat. A new one (to us) this time was the Beach House. Very close by. Not fancy but the food and drinks were great! Note to condo owner...we didn't find a guest book. Like this feature we've seen in other units. Definitely returning to Sandpiper in 4 years and most likely for a separate trip in 2017!

Overall we had a good stay the month of January,2015,so good that we have booked the unit for Jan and Feb 2016. Closet space was very adequate, and the kitchen was well equipped. However, there are some areas that need improvement. We discovered mold in the hall bathroom toilet tank which we attempted to eradicate with bleach. This issue needs to be addressed. We were disappointed in the fitted bed sheets which were too large for the full size mattresses and too small for the queen. Couch and matching chair were very soiled and uncomfortable. It would also be nice to have more kitchen storage. The unit lacked a good reading lamp so we contributed one. Thanks to the owner of this unit and Bender Realty for your efforts to make our stay enjoyable. You can't beat the Sandpiper for a place on the beach!

Overall: An exceptionally nice place to stay. They apparently had a family reunion there the week we stayed, as the pool area and balconies were rocking most of the time. Our unit, 6A,was great. We had four other family members come over to hangout and there was plenty of room. However, it wasn't "**** n span" clean. Previous guest's underwear in drawer; under the couch and bed hadn't been cleaned in a while; our feet were SO dirty after walking barefoot AFTER showers. The pictures on here show the place quite a bit smaller than it actually was and the decor was spot-on to the pics. Plenty of extra bedding if needed. Location was convenient to everything. I know it's convenient, but the convenient store (Waves) across the street is EXPENSIVE. Crico's has exceptional pizza and sub sandwiches. Rocco's pizza/pub is great as well. Best of all: we were quoted a price of $1,000 but were only charged $850 when we arrived!!

Not just my unit but the other units too. There were over 40 in our group. The design of the property is amazing, we had a huge group doing a Congo line line dancing and singing sweet Caroline! Loved the open concept. Most rooms were NOT clean. Under beds, under dressers, just floors in general were gross. And each bed should have an alternate bedspread so that one is washed each time a new tenant comes in. Not to mention the pressure washing which leaked in the window.
