The dishwasher and washing machine

It would be good to have a vacuum cleaner so that we can give the place a good vacuum before we leave. As it stands we can only try our best to sweep the whole place with the broom that we found. Being so close to the beach inevitably we brought some sand into the house, and even though we always took our shoes off before entering our backpacks and long pants etc managed to pick up some sand when we were hiking in the area. The second bedroom is extremely small and its a struggle to put 2 persons in esp when there is no window (that can be opened) at all in the room. I slept in the sofa bed in the lounge which is rather comfy.

Comfy apartment, good bed, full kitchen, laundry facilities (no dryer), close to the water, short walk to the beach.

Broken door lock meant we couldn't properly secure the unit, there was only the latch on the screen door - and they are easy to gain access through (so we had to pack everything valuable, laptops etc. in the car whenever we decided to go out). Quirky shower/bathroom. One of the staff had to come and help us to operate the ceiling vans, they need remotes as well as the lighting wall switches, quite conveluted - but they were very helpfull and we got everything working (it was unseasonably hot).

Well presented and equipped cottage near the river mouth. Great value for money.

Fantastic, well equipped, comfortable property in amazing location. Full kitchen, washing machine and dryer, fridge-freezer, TV, covered car parking, decking in sun with picnic table, comfortable bed and nice bedding, nicely finished with wall decorations. Warm, helpful and friendly communications from owner. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Didn't like leaving! Dropped one point for poor lighting in shower, but that is nit-picking.

The "second" bedroom had no natural daylight. Unit was unclean. It would be great to have air-con in summer.

It has all the essentials you would want from a self contained accommodation. I loved hearing the ocean at night 🌙

I found the toilet and bathroom doors difficult to open when closed and the glass sliding door wouldn't latch (but fortunately the screen door did for security).

Beautiful little property with a good sized kitchen and a spacious living area. Was very clean and well kept. The woodfire place was five stars and was a perfect way to warm up the colder nights!!

Only one chopping board which was tiny so very hard to chop and prep food for cooking - but it was worth it and we made do!

Shower pressure was good, the kitchen facilities were good, the view from the hut was lovely, and Candy was helpful allowing us an earlier check in. The location was ideal in close proximity to the beach. The main bedroom was ideal for a couple, and the bed was comfortable. Great ample parking, enough room for a boat and two vehicles.

Bedding was stained and musky, the second 'bedroom' was more like a cell and not welcoming with no natural light and wall light didn't work. The floors were dirty. Blinds and A/C didn't work. We were only supplied with two towels for four adults over two nights. Only one sofa and two wicker chairs to 'accommodate for 6 people'. The sofa bed didn't seem safe to sleep on with a wafer thin mattress and mechanism that squeaked more than not.

Little bit of gardening/yard work outside wouldn’t hurt for looks ,but it wasn’t of any concern .

Some areas in kitchen needed a good clean (range hood etc) but overall unit was very neat and tidy. Lovely to have heater turned on for us.

Great communication by the host. Is not flash, but in a good location and the use of a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer was excellent. Kitchen had lots of utensils and a good size fridge. Only little niggle was the dryer smelt very musty, probably as people did not leave it open to dry. Outside line and inside little drying rack were provided with pegs. Great little spot for a relax.

Some aspects of the property are a little tired, but for the price point was exceptional value.

We stayed in winter but probably a better location for a summer stay.
