Enjoyed our time visiting the area. Accommodations were nice and the unit was very clean.

Great view, great location, so convenient. The house had everything we needed! A very short walk to downtown. There are a lot of stairs, but we all managed! And most of us are seniors lol

You really can't beat the view and location of this property. We really enjoyed watching the big cargo ships. There was a very nice park across the street which we appreciated as we were visiting with children. They loved it. The stairs leading to the second floor were fairly steep and would present a challenge to seniors. Parking is limited to one car and the public parking across the street is metered from 10 am to 5 pm but it didn't inconvenience us even though we had 3 cars. The kirchen is pretty nice. Overall, we had a great stay and the owner was immediately responsive to our inquiries and questions.

Jennifer is the perfect host. She checked in with us, offered to come over if we needed anything, gave us suggestions of places to eat, things to see and do. Great location for a fun getaway. Close to restaurants and shops.

First of all this building is old, perhaps as old as bodlt castle. It gives you a sense of history so it's not a bad thing. Just saying if you are looking for a fully renovated, modern looking housing you would want to find something else. The location is why we picked this property. It is close to everything downtown. The boat tour, the restaurants, etc. We have two other families came park at the property and walk to uncle sam boat tour. Across the street is a playground and all the kids enjoyed. A few more steps you cross the bridge to casino island and you have a great view of the castle and sunset. There are many benches and a grill on Casino island so it's ideal to have a picnic there with friends and family. A full size supermarket is about 10 mins away and we bought groceries there to make our own breakfast and lunch for a few days. Pot, pan, plates, cups are all available. We would recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent location for a family vacation. Convenient to everything A-Bay has to offer. Three bedrooms with queen beds in each. Sufficient window A/C units, except for upstairs bathroom where it can get warm. Great place for younger families, with an excellent park (Scenic View Park) across the street!

This property is by far one of the best we have ever rented. The location can't be beat. We have 20 something children. They loved the walkability to the nightlife of downtown. We all enjoyed the large deck and screened in porch. The view of the park and river was amazing. The kitchen was the most well stocked we have ever seen. The pantry had every gadget, bowl, platter and storage container you could imaging. Which is a definite plus with a large group. The home is clean and comfortable. Jen the property owner is very nice and available. We started planning next year's family vacation before we even left.

This house was great.. was well stocked & the view is amazing... we loved it & did not want to leave... loved the fact that the playground was across the street.. loved having coffee in the morning on the enclosed porch watching the boats go by. So relaxing ... We want to stay in Jennifers house again..Thankyou Jennifer for helping to make our vacation great..

Easy and efficient!

Very relaxing and calm.went to the beach everyday. Did shopping in town. Boat tours and fishing. Location was perfect and Jennifer is a very pleasant host who is willing to make accommodations for her guest.

This house was perfect for our family! My husband and I and our 2 children under the age of 10 loved this place! The house had everything we could possibly need, and is well stocked with towels and dishes as we love to cook! Location, location! Across the street is a playground and public beach just as advertised, and nice places nearby to fish. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the boats and ships on the river from the front porch! We also didn't have to drive anywhere as we were within walking distance from all of the restaurants and shops downtown! We will definitely be back! Jen was an awesome host and very responsive to any questions we had! Highly recommend this place, is as described in listing plus more!

Well appointed, excellent views of St Lawrence River, ships & islands, easy walking distance to park(across st) & walking paths, shops & restaurants. Parking for 1 car is ok, but if more than 1 it would have been an issue for us.

With teenage children, it was so nice finding such a lovely place to stay that was so close to downtown. The home is very clean and so well stocked! I thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching boats go by. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip!

Easy and straight forward experience.

The house was cozy. The location is amazing. The view of the river from the living room was awesome. The deck was perfect to sit out at and enjoy the scenery. The kids loved the park across the street. The sunsets were breathtaking. Couldn't ask for a better location. Very close to down town. So much was right within walking distance. There was a little hiccup with the hot water but I called the owner and she was quick to respond and eager to make it right. Really was an enjoyable weekend at this location. Fully stocked kitchen decent sized bedrooms for the age of the home. Was surprised it wasn't too small for the 8 of us.

All the amenities you need and then some. Very comfortable home. Great location to see river action, Boldt Castle & get downtown. Owner very accessible.

This vacation home was the perfect home away from home and had anything you could possibly need. The linens were high quality and luxurious, as were the dishes and the beautiful handmade pottery mugs and serving dishes around the house. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning in each bedroom was much appreciated! Great location close to the beach and a short walk to all of the shops and restaurants in Alexandria Bay. My one complaint is just how bright the bedrooms were, which could be easily remedied with the addition of curtains or shades for the windows.

What a great long weekend in Alex Bay. The house was just as described! Loved watching the boats go by and the sunporch was perfect for a rainy morning! Plenty of room for the 4 of us. We will return! Oh and location location location!

House has everything you need and is very "homey!" The grand kids already asked that we go to the same place next summer ;)

Our family has never rented a house before and we didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to feel at home here. It was very clean and Jennifer has thought of everything that you could want or need during your stay! We would definitely stay here again if we visit Alexandria Bay in the future!!

This house is exactly what every other review stated and more. The location can't be beat. We watched our kids play on the playground and all the water activity including the large freight ships right from the front porch while barbecuing as the sunset directly in front of us. Jennifer was accommodating weeks before we even arrived till we left and answered every question I had (within an hour or less). The house is stocked with EVERYTHING... and I mean everything! There is even a kitchen aid mixer, fondue pot, and mini crockpot! All the appliances are top notch, and the air conditioners work to cool down the whole house beautifully. We enjoyed local wine we bought in town which was easy walking distance in two- minutes. We fished across the street behind the playground, the small beach is perfect to cool down with smooth sand (no rocks or gritty pebbly sand). I loved that there were views of Boldt Castle even from the porch, but beautiful, unobstructed ones from across the road. Lastly, and unfortunately for us, my grandson broke his arm on the playground...BUT, the small hospital is also a stone's throw away down the road. (One minute walk). You really wouldn't even know it's there but what mote could you ask for????
