The hotel was very clean and comfortable and in a great location. The restaurant was very good as was the breakfast.

Service was a little slow in the restaurant at dinner time.

Excellent breakfast with wide selection of food and constant attention by staff. Best breakfast we had during our month long trip! Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it more mornings.

Parking was not the best but it worked. Lots of space just had to walk a ways to your vehicle as huge lot but not much parking close to entrance.

This hotel was well located right in the middle of Vik and you could walk 20 min to the Reynisfjara beach on foot. The service was excellent and the breakfast was great and had so many options. The room we got with 2 single beds was a decent size and everything was clean. The rain shower in the bathroom was a great luxury.

The only downside to the room is the fact that there is no mini fridge to store food if you had leftovers.

Très bel hôtel avec parking, un bon restaurant et un excellent accueil. Nous avons eu droit à un surclassement dans une vaste chambre avec vue partielle sur la mer.

Apesar de ser um excelente hotel para descansar, considero que pelo valor pago deveria oferecer um jacuzzi (ou piscina aquecida) para os hospedes poderem relaxar. É algo que em outros hotéis com outra dimensão e de outro valor apresentavam. Posto isto, consideramos que isso afecta a relação qualidade -preço.

The staff here were extremely professional, polite and helpful. The hotel itself was lovely and modern, clean and rooms were fairly spacious (by Iceland standards) - the beds were VERY comfortable! There was free car parking on site which was very useful, and the inclusive breakfast was great. There were also several nice food venues within a stones throw of the hotel. All in all, a fantastic hotel for the price, and ideally situated for Katla Ice cave tours, visits to the black beach and more. Would definitely stay here again.

L’emplacement dans Vik est idéal. Proche des centres d’intérêts de détente et de shopping Notre vue sur la mer de notre grande chambre était incroyable

Le prix est très élevé mais la très belle chambre avec vue aurait pu faire oublier ce point. Sauf qu’une odeur très désagréable d’égouts est venue empester la chambre les deux jours en fin de journée. Même si le personnel , très gentil, était confus de la situation et nous a offert un voucher pour un verre au bar, au regard du prix élevé, cette situation est inacceptable.

That they had family rooms - excellent space for us. The shower was brilliant. The breakfast was great - though they could do with some vegan butter.

Hotel muy bien ubicado en una ruta por el sur de Islandia. Es moderno, con habitaciones confortables y un restaurante estupendo. Totalmente recomendable.

Todo me pareció bien, no podría criticar nada.

Konumu Vik'in hemen merkezinde, bulması çok kolay bir yerde. Tertemiz mis gibi bir işletme. Check-in çok kolay ve hızlı oldu. Resepsiyondaki bayan arkadaş çok güler yüzlü ve kibardı . Otel müsait olduğu için odamızı upgrade etti. Diğer oda sanıyorum daha küçüktü , görmedik . Ama odamızı çok beğendik. Kapsül kahve makinesi mevcuttu . Tek üzüldüğüm nokta otele vardığımızda geç bir saatti, erken gidip daha fazla zaman geçirmeyi çok isterdim. Kahvaltısı da çok güzeldi,yeterince çeşit vardı. Sadece domuz yemeyenler için fazla et çeşidi yoktu. Ama çok memnun kaldık biz.

Belki bir ufak buzdolabı olabilirdi....Bir de TV kanallarından müşterilerin keyfi için daha çok müzik kanalları seçilebilir. Kışın odada epey zaman geçiriliyor da.

A very nice location in the middle of Vik (a small town itself); the lobby area was very pretty. We had an issue with our room and the staff was wonderful to find a resolution via an upgrade. I appreciated their willingness to find a solution and make our stay comfortable. A stone's throw to restaurants, shopping and the Black Sands beaches.

For awareness, we booked a family suite as we were traveling with teenagers and wanted them to have their own space/TV for evenings (in winter most of the town shuts down early); the family rooms advertise a TV downstairs and upstairs, but they told us they no longer have TVs upstairs (I would confirm with the hotel).

The breakfast was good. The family room was really spacious with 2 floors. The room was very clean with comfortable beds. The loccitane toiletries were amazing.

Would have been good if there was a refrigerator in the room.

Mala relación precio/calidad. Dentro del hotel es posible ver un diferencia económica entre habitaciones y sectores del hotel. La fotografía del hotel desde el exterior no representa la realidad. Frente al hotel se encuentran construidos unos departamentos y luego una serie de locales comerciales, lo que impide tener una vista hacia la playa. La habitación que se me asigno tenia vista hacia el acceso del hotel.

This hotel is perfect for a short stay on the way to or from the glacier regions in the south east. Vik is a small town and Hotel Vik I Mýrdal is certainly a gem. The site is very clean and comfortable, with a cozy fireplace near the lobby and a great restaurant on site with breakfast available in the mornings if you’d like. There is a small gym as well. There is also a wonderful local town pool just a few minutes from the property.

Parking is limited and during busy dinner hours the parking lot just outside the hotel is likely filled (first come first serve for patrons/guests). You will need to park across the street. Additionally. The rooms are quite small with the loft options being the most cramped, however this is not a make or break.

Lovely room and bathroom. Shower was great. Ideal location for exploring the South coast and glacier.

Breakfast buffet could've been better.

Friendly staff and the food

The piano wasn’t in the main hallway as it was the previous year. It was a wonderful addition to reception! No complaints here though, brilliant stay.
