Lakefront House- The Peacock
Je suis fier d'ouvrir ma maison de vacances pour votre usage.
Il s’agit d’un chalet de 3 chambres situé au bord de l’eau sur le lac Deer, à Wallenpaupack Lake Estates (WLE).
Jeter un rocher du pont arrière dans le lac - c'est à quelle distance vous êtes. Deer Lake est un lac de plaisance sans moteur au sein de la communauté WLE. Ramez votre canot vers l'île ou autour du lac. Lancez-le directement à partir de la propriété.
La grande terrasse est au niveau du sol au bord du lac. Détendez-vous sur le pont en regardant les enfants jouer au bord du lac. Profitez de vos soirées autour du feu de cheminée.
La maison a un plan d'étage ouvert.
Premier étage a salon, salle à manger et cuisine. Cheminée.
En bas a une salle de jeux avec une table de baby-foot et une table de hockey sur air.
À l’étage supérieur, un étage sur deux niveaux avec une chambre principale avec salle de bains privative.
Dernier étage offrant 2 chambres à coucher.
La chambre principale a une reine.
Une chambre a une reine.
La deuxième chambre a deux lits simples.
2 lits pliants disponibles.
La salle de jeux du sous-sol est équipée d’un futon double.

Il n'y a pas de climatisation, mais il y a des ventilateurs dans chaque chambre. L'air circule facilement dans la maison avec de nombreuses grandes portes coulissantes menant au lac et aux fenêtres ouvertes.

Beautiful property and house! We especially loved the outdoor fire pit, canoe, kayak, paddle board, and well-stocked games and books in the house. The community has great lakefront access and heated indoor and outdoor pools (with a water slide!) Overall a wonderful stay; would absolutely return!

Rustic lakefront home in beautiful development with nice community amenities. Home was perfect for our young family and had all of the necessities for a laid back lake vacation. Property owner was responsive when needed and check-in was easy. Home was clean and well maintained. Street was quiet and safe for walking. Private dock was perfect for our days playing in the water. Hope to stay here again!

We were here for my bridal shower weekend, and had a great time. The lake house is right on the water and has everything you need! My nephews loved fishing off the dock, and my stepdaughter enjoyed the kayak and paddle board. It was a bit hot the first day we arrived, as it was 95 degrees and there is no AC, but there was a fan and sliding glass door in each room, which helped to keep the air circulating. The breeze off the lake each night kept things cool. Carolyn was a great host and we would absolutely come back again!

The house was very nice. The rooms were all furnished and decorated with all wood finishes the way you would expect a Lake house to be. The kitchen was nice and well equipped. The property is truly lake front property with a beautiful view of the water from the decks and the stationary dock. It is a great house to rent in a beautiful community. The owner Carolyn was very responsive and a real pleasure to work with when getting the required forms filled out to access the community. I would certainly rent this house again.

I would highly suggest If you are planning to use the basement it would need to be aired out first. The house had plenty of room to accommodate the group and did not need it ! What an amazing view we will be back !!

We really enjoyed our stay at the lake house. The kids had a great time fishing and playing on the lake. The views are amazing and after a day of play on the lake, sitting next to the campfire at night under the stars was perfect.

We spent 4 nights with our young boys and some in-laws. Carolyn the owner was great at making sure we had communication. The place is nice and a little rustic but still very convenient. If want relaxing this is the place. The kids didn’t care about TV or games they just enjoyed the lake and fishing from the dock and paddling around. There are no motor boats on the this lake so it’s super quiet and then if you want the big lake experience it is right down the road. Really glad we stayed here.

The screens and smelly carpet haven’t been replaced since the 80’s along with the sliding doors that wouldn’t lock (unsafe) The second floor master bedroom broken window that didn’t close wasn’t fun with the severe storm. I thought I’d be nice and. not write a bad review because I felt bad for the owner until she chose to attempt insurance fraud and try to hold me accountable for damage that has been there for years.

Perfect location!!
A beautiful spot directly on Deer Lake. The house is well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay at the lake. My grandchildren absolutely loved fishing every morning while I enjoyed my morning coffee. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot. We are already looking to book this home again.

Glorious Pocono getaway
We were thrilled with our vacation at this beautiful house in a gorgeous setting!
Stayed for a week in late May — the weather was perfect. The house is spacious and well-appointed; it had everything we could want and more.
The lovely lake is a wonderful backyard — we canoed and swam each day. Nearby parks had fantastic hiking opportunities, and even just walking around the lake and neighborhood was a treat.
Each room had picturesque views from windows and balcony, the deck and grill made it easy to enjoy being outside all the time.
Extras like the foosball and game room made evenings especially fun too.
Can’t wait until our next visit!

Perfect spot
This was the perfect getaway that my family needed to just relax and reconnect. The house was much bigger then expected and great location. We were there in the winter and did not use the amenities but were able to play on the frozen lake and build snowmen. The owner was quick to respond when I had a quick question and made sure I was aware of the community and house before our stay. Would definitely stay here in warmer months.

We enjoyed our stay at this lakeside home. Great location which I imagine would be clutch in warmer seasons but was cool to see the frozen lake also (wish we'd brought some skates).

Just what we needed
Met up with our adult kids for a careful Covid-era get together (we all isolated and then tested to meet up at a central location). While this area is probably much more lively in the summer, it was just right for us for Thanksgiving. The view of the lake from the house is so pretty and serene. The house was spacious, but cozy and comfortable; we did our holiday cooking there and enjoyed firing up the woodstove. Carolyn is an especially good and responsive communicator!

We had a great family trip celebrating a 70th birthday. The home is on the older side but was clean and well organized. My father enjoyed fishing from the back yard and my kids loved kayaking. Overall was a great trip.
