The property was in an excellent location within two minutes walk of both the ferry terminal and the centre of Town. Stresa is a charming town - unspoilt and full of lovely shops and restaurants. There is a train station nearby and the ferry is a fabulous way of getting round Lake Maggiore, with its' Islands and mainland stops. We did a great trip by train into Switzerland and back via ferry. A lovely day out. There was plenty to do and we loved our week. The outside sitting area at the rear of the property was lovely, with an abundance of potted herbs and shrubs.

The second bedroom was very small with no chest of drawers and hardly any hanging space. The balcony was a huge disappointment as there was barely enough room for two chairs. It was quite noisy at night.
