Gramakk's Sunset Retreat would like to share the view and sunsets we enjoy daily
Nous sommes situés à 1,6 km de l'autoroute 43 pour une vue imprenable sur notre ferme, de magnifiques couchers de soleil en soirée, de magnifiques collines et vallées Ponca. Parcourez 1 mile sur une ancienne route jusqu'à Center Point Trail Head, jusqu'à Big Bluff, Hemmed in Hollow et Buffalo River. 4 miles à Boxley Valley avec accès à la rivière et Lost Valley Park où le Elk Roam. Courte distance de Hawksbill Craig, Glory Hole, Low Gap Cafe et de la ville historique de Jasper. Cette maison de 3 chambres a une grande salle à manger, un coin salon. Le pont projeté est un endroit très familial. Nous avons un foyer extérieur et une aire de pique-nique avec des barbecues, des tables et des sièges au gaz et au charbon. Entrée clavier. L'hôte sera disponible pour tous les besoins de commande à court ou les directions d'intérêt. Le pont extérieur a un grand coin salon pour profiter de la vue avec votre café ou le coucher du soleil en soirée. La télévision par câble avec une bibliothèque de magnétoscopes et de films DVD est disponible sur le pont ainsi qu'à l'intérieur. Cuisine entièrement équipée avec lave-vaisselle, cuisinière, fours doubles, réfrigérateur avec machine à glaçons ainsi que les années 90 répertoriées

Our favorite place near Ponca, and we’ve stayed at a lot of places within a 30-40 mile radius. This one is by far the best! Thanks GramaKk

Our group of ten Golden Girls (ages 67-81) had a GREAT stay with GrammaK in Ponca ! It served well for our ECLIPSE viewing, no crowds, great views and Kay even served cake and ice cream after the eclipse!
We invited her to share her Ponca story with us all.
As s native she knew everything about this beautiful !
Day trips to Mountain View and Branson (Queen Esther
was wonderful! ) Definitely worth the one hour drive and the. $$$!

We loved this place. The view was fabulous and the screened in porch was second to none. Place was very spacious and the kitchen was well stocked. It was very clean and we felt right at home. The bedrooms were not the most private I’ve seen (curtains instead of doors) but it didn’t bother us. Kaye was super helpful in making sure we had the right channel to watch the razorbacks. This was our annual trip to see the elk and we have found our new spot to stay. The elk were less than 5 mile away. Before we left we went ahead and booked for next year. You won’t go wrong booking with Kaye!!!

The property was beautiful not only the inside but the outside porch was amazing! We even got to continue to enjoy being outside while we had a small storm roll in and enough space for the kids to run and play and not be inside until it passed. The owners were so nice and friendly and made it very clear that they are there if anything was needed but our privacy was very much important to them!

We had a good stay. Close proximity to Buffalo Outdoor Center which is who we booked a canoe float with. Plenty of beds for a good size group. Great view.

This house was perfect for our family. It was clean with lots of room for all of us. Great location to all things Ponca! I would highly recommend this house for you stay!

Outstanding! Google maps so you know your location and get a feel for the area. Excellent day hikes and beautiful fall scenery. Home is very grand with all the amenities. Screened in porch with the view was an added bonus. Bring all food and drinks to thoroughly enjoy your time in this little piece of heaven.

I can’t say enough about this location. It wasn’t easy to find, but one you do, it is amazing. The house was clean and very well done; it is large and would be a great place for a large family. The porch? Well I want one! The porch had wonderful views and lots of comfortable seating. The only drawback to the whole stay is that I didn’t have a longer reservation to enjoy it! It will be a top choice for future stays in the area.
Kaye was a wonderful host. We were late arriving and had some trouble finding it in the dark. Kaye came out and met us and led us to the house. Her willingness to do this and the friendly manner in which it was done was enough to rate her as THE top host! We also texted her about restaurants in the area and she was always very responsive and helpful. Gramma K, - you are the BEST!

Friends weekend trip to the river.
We had a great stay! There’s plenty of room at this house and it was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. The view from the back porch is so peaceful! Our only trouble was it was late when we arrived and had a hard time finding our home but even then Kaye woke up and helped us make it to our destination. She was the sweetest host!

Beautiful views/ lovely spacious place
Our family had a wonderful time staying here. The sunsets over the valley views from the amazing back porch were wonderful. The downstairs was spacious and easily accommodated the 6 of us with room for plenty more. The host and her husband live upstairs, but for those wanting privacy, this is not an issue. They make it clear that you can make plenty of noise and that the sound doesn't carry upstairs. They also will not intrude on your space. However, we did reach out via text to Gramma kk and we had the opportunity to meet her when she brought us cinnamon rolls. We all enjoyed talking to her and my son asked a lot of questions about trails and she was a wealth of information. Her family has been in Ponca for generations. Thanks again for such an enjoyable stay. I would definitely stay here again if we came back this way.

This property was excellent, and Grama KK was a gracious host! This is the basement of her house, but that is not an issue, there’s ample space for groups up to 10. Only one shower tho, so if you’re active, you’ll have to arm wrestle for dibs...

My two young teen children and I met with my Dad, Brother and Sister-in-law and their three early teen kids from three states. We really enjoyed the spacious setting of Gramma KKs lower level. Tee had everything you could think of possibly needing stocked in the home, & our hosts were very kind and hospitable. The beds were comfortable and the porch was one of the highlights of our stay. We loved listening to the wildlife outside while sitting in the comfort of the screened in porch and the rain on the tin roof!

There were tables and chairs for so much more than our group. We walked the property and enjoyed looking at the horses. It was minutes for our hikes and canoe outfitter. The kitchen was stocked and plenty of everything! I highly recommend this place for your stay!

This property is in a wonderful location for hiking and exploring the Upper Buffalo. We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious the living room and other areas of the house are. The host was quick to respond to few questions and needs we had. Had a wonderful time and will look to stay here again in the future.

Beautiful home, close to great hiking trails
Absolutely spectacular views from the huge back porch. The house itself is large with many areas to congregate and there were plenty of supplies for us to cook breakfasts and dinners. The location is perfect for hiking as it is close to a lot of really great trailheads. Kaye was an incredibly gracious host - she responded to any questions very quickly and was helpful in providing directions and tips. We will definitely be back!

Successful Trip!
I organized this trip for my boyfriends 30th birthday. I had his family and friends fly in from CA, CO, AZ and the rest of us drove from Louisiana. Our trip was a week ago and we still cannot stop talking about the comfort of this house, the breathtaking view, and the priceless moments we shared. The place is clean and has everything you need and more! Kaye and her husband were more than welcoming, and we truly could not have had a better time. Would HIGHLY recommend and we definitely can’t wait to go back.

Best view in Ponca!
This place is amazing! The owners live above the place, but this place is HUGE. It’s basically a house on top of a house. The owners are pleasant and the house has everything you need. We never saw them until check-out day when they stopped by to introduce themselves. The back porch view is absolutely stunning. It was the perfect place for our family vacation to spend some quality time together. We definitely plan on making this a yearly thing!

Great family weekend
We came down for a weekend to float the Buffalo River. We had 9 people, 2 families and had plenty of room. We used the grill, all the kitchen appliances and had everything we needed, only had to bring food. The owners live upstairs but we never heard them or saw them until we checked out, we had complete privacy. The living room was very large, plenty of room to relax and the huge screened- in deck is incredible. Lots of seating, oil lamps, games and everything we needed to enjoy the time outside.
