We booked two rooms. Both confirmed. When we checked in, the host Monika told us there was only one room available. Our friend had to look for another hotel at night. What was worse, she charged €45 extra (and she only takes cash). We realized it when we settled in, and texted her immediately. She replied “you agreed on the price”. When we were checking out on the second day, she saw me loading the car and she drove away immediately before I was able to talk to her. Then she marked the second reservation “no show” which could costs €130. Fortunately I called booking.com and they said they won’t let additional charge to happen. The room is inside a house. The host lives downstairs. The room is well decorated. Good kitchen but missing a microwave. Shower water temperature changes automatically between hot and burning, but you will get a balance from the overhead shower because it drips cold water. Shower door won’t close properly. No shampoo no soap, not even to mention water or coffee. Two bath towels provided, and there is no laundry.
