I really enjoyed my stay here. I was made to feel so welcome. Just a beautiful spot to stay. Can't wait to visit again. Breakfast was lovely

The cabins were well furnished and had everything I needed for a few days stay. I arrived after the kitchen had closed but the host very thoughtfully offered me a sausage bap rather than the pot noodle i'd grabbed en route. The waterside location was peaceful and relaxing, and I slept pretty well.

The only things I'd change would be: a) how damp it felt, but I guess its difficult to balance ventilation with keeping the pods warm at this time of the year. b) I was in the end pod furthest from the WiFi signal and so might be a problem for anyone who required high speeds

WiFi a bit flakey but I think my pod was the furthest from the router. Not a biggy

Loved the remote location, if you want peace and quite this is definitely the place to be. Very cosy little pod, comfy bed and everything you need. Even got to see a sky full of stars which was a lovely little bonus.

I love the setting because I like to rise with the sun and walk. Many paths throughout the property and beautiful birds and plants. The pods are very well-built and cozy. Love the deck and watching the birds. Friendly staff and good food at the cafe!

I am not from the area and didn't realize that although it is only a mile from town, it isn't really a walkable mile into town, as the property is down a tight one lane road off of a busy road without a sidewalk. I didn't rent a car and I felt isolated.

Me and my other half had a beautiful time at colemans cottage ! The pods are layed out perfectly filled with everything you need for a nice and easy brakeaway. The pod was lovely clean and tidy and the bed was so comfortable! The pods are perfect for watching the stars at night on the balcony all cuddled up . There are three fishing lakes that you can walk around watching all the fish swim and splash . The staff are amazing from a warm welcome when we arrived to serving us the yummiest breakfast . We loved our little pod we will definitely be back !

It was fine for us but you might find the bathroom a bit small if you are tall as there is a sloping ceiling.

quiet and peaceful high standard of accommodation

Lovely setting and great for us as we had travelled a long way .. there was a bit of road noise but that faded depending on the wind direction and time of day...We slept like logs and were very impressed with how warm it was. As a larger male we worried how he would find the shower and toilet ..but actually it was fine - we didnt feel cramped at all.. We had both beds made up. He liked being able to fish and then simply walk home shower and fall in to bed.. There was a local Tesco nearby which was useful but also the food on site was ok , we enjoyed breakfast and then managed with help of microwave. There are sometimes a lot of people fishing but you couldnt tell as site was lovely and quiet - so nice to walk round the lakes and just chill out..great weekend get away from it space ..and I suspect quite nice in spring and autumn as so cosy.

Would have liked microwave higher up .. Small bin /bag for teabags /bit and bobs in kitchen area would have been useful - 2 tea towels would have been useful.

The breakfast was delicious, the people running it are lovely.

Breakfast was great with a huge variety of food and large portions . The setting was beautiful only marginally dampened by the hum of the A12 nearby ! This location is stunning and I could happily have spent more time there . the Pods have everything you need - The power shower was fabulous . It was the best nights sleep we have had in months !

Accommodation, surroundings and hosts all excellent. Very powerful and roomy shower for such a small bathroom, too.

Initially the road noise as is very close to the A 12 but we got used to it and 'zoned' it out.

We were welcomed with open arms and made to feel at home right away. Everything from the scenery and accommodation down to the well stocked fish in the ponds are very well looked after and so beautiful. The pod cabins we stayed in were clean comfortable and have everything you need ready and waiting for your arrival We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be returning in the near future
