Yard was perfect for our dogs. Small, but workable. The glow in the dark rocks and lighting were an adorable touch at night! Great for outdoor hanging. Murphy bed very old fashioned but cool, mostly comfortable for one person, if a little short. Loved our first visit to Lake City.

This place isn’t very fancy but it’s very clean and well stocked. The hosts are very nice.

Very small but efficient. Suggestion: Lose the nightstand by the bed and replace it with another standing lamp (like the other one there) and put in a small easy chair or recliner. Otherwise had everything we needed except a view--just due to the property location.

The room was nice. The Gowdy's were very congenial and helpful. My only complaint is that it is too expensive for what one gets.

First visit to Lake City and enjoyed ourselves due in a large part to the lodging. It was very comfortable and clean. The amenities including washer and dryer made for a nice stay. The only challenge we had was with the volume on the TV. We could barely hear it and there were no volume controls on the remotes. Other than that, highly recommend!!!

Owner very helpful and friendly. The room was very fun and clean and roomy. Bathroom needed some updates, repairs and paint but was clean and roomy also. It was a great experience.

Great place for our stay with the dog. Close to everything we needed including exploring the town and water access to the river and parks. The Gowdys went way out of their way to accommodate us during our stay. Provided pointers as to places to see and directions. We are planning to return next year as Wife played in the band for the first time this year. Great get-away.

My husband and I planned a short trip to Lake City to ride the Alpine Loop. We were planning to stay in a tent but after watching the weather for several weeks we decided at the last minute to book a room. Lucky us! The Gowdy Studio was available for the few days we wanted. Jim, our host, greeted us upon arrival. He gave us information regarding the town and the trails.The studio was perfect for us. Very clean and within walking distance of all the restaurants and shopping. We would definitely stay here again. And if we brought the rest of our family we would stay at one of their larger rentals. Great hosts. Thanks!!

The property was easy and comfortable. Off the main road so, the OHV noise was low. Plenty of parking if you did have a trailer with you. We would definitely consider staying g here again.

This is a very cute and private rental behind the main house. It is in a fantastic location for checking out town. Walking distance to the main part of town. It has a little fenced front yard. For two people, it was perfect.

The owners were responsive and great to work with.

The Gowdy Studio was a great place to stay for a long weekend in Lake City. It is close to town and had everything we needed for two adults and an infant. Would love to stay there again!

The property was very clean and comfortable. I did not think the property was a Gorgeous Studio home. The only thing I thought was wrong with the property was the bathroom had a small portable heater which would not heat the bathroom enough for me. That being said I would stay there again if I went back to Lake City.

One of the nicest VRBOs we have stayed in. This place is great! Owners are awesome as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Amazing response time from the property owners. Super detailed directions on how to find the studio and check in. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. I would recommend staying with Gowdy property to anyone.
