Had a great experience renting this and another property from Maria for a large group. Location is great, close to a ton of bars and restaurants and the beach access is only a short 4 minute walk. This rental is the bottom unit and is fairly bare bones on the inside but there’s access to a shared courtyard with a grill. With the proximity to the beach and bars, if you’re looking for a place to shower, change and sleep, this is perfect for that purpose. Maria was also very helpful with coordinating all my questions which arose when booking two properties at once.

Great location! Walking distance to everything Dewey has to offer. Easy walking access to the beach as well. Maria was great and super helpful as we prepped for and during our stay.

The property is excellent and the property manager was great with communication. The property is in a great location with short walks to restaurants, bars, and the ocean.

Unfortunately our stay was awful. Upon check-in, there was an immediate unpleasant odor. I contacted the owner and she came over and brought a candle. She also said they just had painted the concrete floor and it could be a smell from that. After our first night there, my kids and I were starting to feel ill and contract terrible migraines. We then discovered mold on the ceiling. I sent a picture and again contacted the owner, and she responded that she was in the hospital with chest pains and would get back to me at another time. We had to vacate the property a day early as we were too sick to stay and continue to breathe in the fumes. What a scary and horrible experience this was. Someone else was checking in a day after us and I'm sure the mold or odor issue was not yet handled or disclosed.

The house was clean and exactly as described (very small but great location!) and Maria made everything easy, as she was very responsive, kind, and sent us all details we would need well ahead of time. No complaints at all, we had a great trip.

Definitely want to stay at her properties again! Great location, price, and communication was great as well.

Queen bed advertised but did not mention it is a sofa sleeper(not in good shape) and when it was pulled out in Living room it blocks the only door to apartment. Safety Hazard. Doesn't look like pictures. Very noisy neighborhood. It was cold and there was no heat. Parking also very tight. Would not recommend this to anyone. Very disappointed!

Small and no real bedroom, but perfect location to everything you’d need! We loved it.

Perfect getaway

The property is the lower part of a house. The sleeping areas are small and the rooms are connected since they do not have doors to separate them. Great place if you have small children, very quiet and close to the beach.

Great little beach cottage in a great location. Just a 5 minute walk to the beach and only steps away from restaurants and night life. Host was very responsive and accommodating! Hope to be back!

we were so happy to find such a charming, clean, user friendly and geographically perfect place. Maria could not have been more accommodating. the entire place was impeccably clean and had everything you would need for a perfect vacation. loved sitting out at the outside sitting area. would 100% recommend and we are definitely coming back

This little place is in the perfect location as far as access to restaurants and the beach. Maria was very attentive and friendly. Only drawback was the basement apartment was very small, the outdoor area was not private and the rate seemed pretty high. But this is my first experience with the DE beaches in a very long time, so it could be me.

House was pretty much just as advertised - amazing location within walking distance to everything, but pretty small. Only one true bedroom - the other set of bunk beds is right off the kitchen with no walls/door separating it. As long as you don’t mind being in close quarters, you’ll be fine! The outdoor space was awesome and very nice to have.

You cannot beat the location but the house is very small. The queen listed is a pull out couch the blocks the door from opening all of the way. The outside was very messy and there were several chairs that the arms were broken.

Overall it served its purpose. Awesome location right behind the Starboard. It says up to 8 can stay and I guess this is true but it is very cramped. Maria is very nice and answered very quickly and helped with any problems that arose.

This house was the perfect location! A little smaller than expected but the outdoor area more than makes up for it! If we come back to Dewey we know where we are staying!!

Owner is great, easy to talk to and work with

The property isn't large, but a perfect location for groups looking to spend most of their time on the beach, at the local establishments, etc. Incredibly convenient location! And Maria was incredibly helpful and responsive to any and all concerns.

We booked this house for a weekend getaway and the location was perfect! It was a 5 min walk to the beach and any bars/restaurants. We didn't move our cars all weekend! We spent most of our time at the beach or at the outside patio/lounge area so the house was really only used for sleeping, but this met our needs. We'd recommend this house!

We had a great stay at this property. You can't beat the location. It was close to everything. What really made our stay was Maria. She was very accommodating. We loved that our dogs were aloud. The outside dining area was also very nice. The only down side was the parking, but Maria went out of her way to show us where to park the extra vehicle. I highly recommend renting from her! Will def return to one of her rentals in the future.
