Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, am hotel fließt ein kleiner Fluss vorbei und rauscht angenehm, von hier kann man mit den publik Busses die laufend fahren , die ganze Insel günstigst erreichen..ein leihauto ist nicht notwendig auf domenica. Batibu beach ist ein herrlicher naturstrand..hinter dem Strand gibts eine dusche, das Wasser schmeckt lecker, mero beach ist toll, liegebetten, gratis dusche, und einige lokale pubs, so richtig herrlich zum entspannen, für mich genau das richtige, nach einer 2 Monate Reise welche in cayenne begonnen hat..ausserdem gibts auf der insel nicht viel Müll, wie auf anderen carribean Islands, und auch keine Kreuzfahrtschiffe die wie die Lemminge die Insel fluten.. Danke

We particularly loved the layout of the rooms and the amenities such as the fridge, stove etc. The room was in pristine condition and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. We had an issue with the room that they quickly got sorted out.

We had a great holiday in Dominica, partly due to our accommodation at Riverside Hotel. It’s a very peaceful place to stay, alongside a small, fast-flowing river. This attracts lots of tropical birds and butterflies to the vegetation at the side of it. Others have stated that it brings mosquitos. We stayed at the hotel for a week in May, had the windows open during the day, but did not get any sort of insect bites. There isn’t a pool, but a long sandy beach is just five minutes’ walk away. The suites are spacious and comfortable, with plenty of storage space for clothes etc. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, suggesting places to visit, eat, etc. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel most of the time. The menu is very varied and the prices very reasonable, and the helpings very generous. I can certainly recommend the Riverside Hotel.

The shower room would benefit from a couple of hooks to hang towels etc.

the rooms are spacious, clean, fully equipped. great internet speed, tv with access to multiple streaming platforms for a night in. the restaurant downstairs is a bit expensive, but great food. breakfast is complete and varied

it needs some maintenance outside and due to the river there are plenty of mosquitos. but as long as you are of it you can prepare and it shouldn’t be a problem.

Sounds of the river near the hotel were so relaxing. Ladies working at the front desk were very nice and kind. We mostly communicated with Jennel and she was so helpful.

Photos are to good and therefore you have certain expectations which are not met in the end. We booked a Sea view Suite. By the size of it this shouldn't be called a Suite but one bedroom apartment. It is a bit small but the room and living room are new. Bathroom needs renovation. Our apartment had the view to the river and trees, just a bit of sea was visible on the side and in the distance. Therefore sea view in description was incorrect as we had only a partial sea side apartment.

This is a great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. My apartment was lovely and suitably equipped, with one balcony overlooking the river and a larger one on the other side. Very quiet location and not far to the nearest beach. The restaurant downstairs does good food although I think that the breakfast was slightly overpriced at US$10 for what you got, but for evening meals the prices were comparable to elsewhere.

zero kitchen tools, unwilling receptionist - eventhough the hotel was almost empty they didt let us upgade room, pretending they are fully booked, so actually we didnt have any view.

The hotel is well furnished, with responsive staff, a good restaurant on property, and walkable to a few good restaurants.

We didn’t realize when booking there was no elevator. my mother has some mobility challenges so this wasn’t ideal. However, the staff were very accommodating; they carried our luggage up and down the stairs and brought room service. The lack of an elevator wasn’t a big deal.

The lighting was nice. The bed was comfy although it was smaller than expected. The kitchen was a good addition to the room.

We were not given the room be booked. We had specifically booked a room with a mountain view but was placed in a room with a river view. Breakfast was not included. The price was only for the room. The resturant is closed on mondays and we felt we should've been told that before monday rather than the morning of since we had planned to order food for breakfast on the monday.

Our room was directly beside a gushing river and it was beautiful. You can see all of the birds wildlife there. Truly amazing. Plus the sound of the river was absolutely soothing and peaceful, especially at night. The river meets with the sea about 5 minutes walk from the hotel, which is quite nice to see. Small supermarkets, shops and eateries are about 10-15 minutes walk down the main road from the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff from those who took care of housekeeping, security, restaurant and reception team. The owner and his wife were also extremely helpful and efficient when we had queries and needed help. If there was an issue it was dealt with immediately, which was really good. Dominica is beautiful and I look forward to visiting again.

I wouldn’t say I had anything which I didn’t like. But room for improvement would be to have a drainer for the dishes in the kitchen. Also a full length mirror in the apartment would be good. But those are just small things.

I loved the atmosphere, quiet and the staff was very friendly. Just to hear the river flowing and look at it when dining was serene for me and a beautiful experience.

There was nothing to not like if you are look for tranquil peace and quiet this is the place to be.

Comprehensive selection of food and drinks in the bar downstairs. The Asian food I tried was nice. Rooms themselves are comfortable with Chinese decor.

Steven and the entire staff made my stay in Dominica a pleasant and special time! Everyone at the hotel was caring and very helpful, no matter whether it was about suggestions for daytrips, phonecalls or appointments, providing any information or help that I needed. Breakfast was delicious, everything was freshly prepared and I got some extras for free. There are interesting sights near the hotel, like Indian River, Cabrits National Park, and beautiful beaches. I would definitely like to go there again!
