The house is updated and feels newly renovated. The two separate spaces were great for our crew of girls and we even had room for more. The house is spacious and has a great layout. We loved the two decks, one on each floor. The house is steps from the beach and a short uber ride to other parts of Charleston. I do recommend the early risers to sleep downstairs as you do hear the footsteps from the floor above. This house was great and I would definitely consider renting it again. The management company was great as well!

We arrived after dark and it would have been nice for porch light to be on. The screen door was locked and it took a few minutes to figure out that there was no screen surrounding the door and that we could simply reach around and unlock the latch!

It was convenient to get everywhere from this end of the Island. The house was well stocked and spacious with a lovely porch which allowed us to linger over coffee while our grandchildren played. The only thing I would recommend is if you want to sleep in go ahead and take the top floor and let the early risers have first access to the porch, errands or outings as there is not a separate entrance/exit. Although we enjoyed the potter patter of little feet it might cut short some needed zzzz’s for night owls. Both kitchens were well equipped and we had absolutely everything we needed. Also, the laundry is downstairs of that helps. The only suggestion I would have is an extra set of sheets be available on each floor for the queen beds. All in all we had a great time and as usual, will use Island Realty again next year as all of our visits have been wonderful.

We were in town for a family wedding at Boone Hall. The location of this house is perfect for easy access to the beach, IOP restaurants, Sullivan’s Island, Mt Pleasant, and downtown Charleston. We rented beach chairs and bikes for the week and enjoyed both. We cannot wait to come back and stay at 311 Charleston Blvd. again.

The house is clean and there is a lot of space as well as an easy access to the beach (2 minute walk). Everything was great and easy! The rental looks exactly like its pictures, and as others have mentioned, it's in a perfect location. Location is closer to Sullivan's Island, less than a block to beach access, and surrounded by beautiful homes. My son rented a golf cart and the younger guests enjoyed riding the golf cart around the neighborhood, to the Boathouse for dinner, and to the bars in IOP. We got a text around 2p from Island Realty that our rental was ready early so that was great! Island Rental was very helpful from the start with all my questions.The rental is very clean and well maintained. The house does not have any beach chairs, umbrellas or bikes so plan to rent or bring your own. Also, there isn't anything in the house other than some dishwasher detergent and a new sponge so plan accordingly. You need all your condiments, coffee filters, extra toilet paper, paper towels, kleenex, etc. I pre-ordered from Harris Teeter and picked up Saturday night. Big mistake, traffic on the IOP connector is horrible on the weekend so get your groceries delivered. Plus, as another review mentioned, bring your own blow dryer as well. We had 12 sets of bath towels with the rental but we did bring our own beach towels. We all enjoyed sitting out on the porches when it wasn't too humid. We went to Shems Creek several times and ate at Salt Water Cowboy twice. Food was decent but we liked watching the boats along the creek, especially the shrimp boats coming back in. I think everyone's favorite activity, other then the beach, was driving into Charleston and the beautiful neighborhoods in Mt. Pleasant. Another recommendation, make your dinner reservations before you arrive because they book up quickly and try to stay on the island for dinner on the weekend unless you eat after 8 pm to avoid the bridge traffic.
