Condo was clean and spacious. The town is quaint very friendly. Location of the condo is perfect! We were able to see the lighting of the xmas mountain as well as the parade. We are looking forward to our next visit.

We loved everything about our stay here. The property contact was easy to communicate with. The place itself is beautiful and extremely well stocked. The location is perfect. The rooftop deck is an added bonus. We will definitely stay here again if possible.

We had such a great couple of days exploring Salida! The location of this property made exploring the town perfect. We cannot wait to come back!

My wife and I love downtown Salida, and this property was wonderful. The location was perfect, the property was clean and well-kept, and Kaylee, the owner, was responsive and helpful. The highlight for us was the view from the deck, which has comfortable chairs and a large umbrella for shade. The view of the Salida ‘S’ from the living room rounded out the experience. All in all 5-star.

The first thing we noticed about the Opera House Loft is that it seems even more spacious than in the pictures (which is the opposite of most places). It was very comfortable with a large kitchen and dining area and a huge living room with a lot of seating space. The windows let in a lot of light so it was always bright and cheery even when it was raining outside. We had a perfect view of "S" mountain at all times, too. The patio/outdoor area was very large and comfortable as well. We never felt cramped as we have in so many other places. We also appreciated the rare air conditioning even though it was cool most of the time we were there (our last visit to Salida had temperatures in the mid 90s so it was nice to know we wouldn't be hot and miserable without AC again). And all of this on top of being right in the middle of the downtown area with a quick walk to the park, restaurants, shopping, etc. And with a dedicated parking lot so no need to deal with street parking. I will definitely try to book again on our next trip to Salida.

We stayed here for a couple day skiing trip to Monarch and it was absolutely perfect. Very clean rental and perfect location. We will be back!

Perfect location

We have been enjoying The Opera House in Salida for several years! It has everything you need to cook, rest, sleep, & enjoy yourselves. We take advantage of the games, puzzles, the grill & we love to eat out on the beautiful back deck! Kaylee, the homeowner is available & so accommodating! She’s the best! The grocery store is one block away & the River is only 2 blocks away! We love the River & have gone in the summer in the past but this year we went in the fall & still GREATLY enjoyed the river! I highly recommend this beautiful home!

There are so many great things about this property I don’t know where to begin. We splurged for FiBArk and Father’s Day and it was so worth it. - Parking was incredibly convenient with a safe spot to drive in and park the entire time!! No moving cars due to street parking rules. We could unload and load with four kids and no stress. - The location has the alley direct to F Street which was blocked off for pedestrians. Super close to park, shopping and restaurants!! - The hosts were awesome to work with!! - The interior was truly luxurious. From the gardenia soap/lotion, beautiful/comfortable furniture, everything you could want to cook (and kids dishes!!). We were able to cook breakfast and come back for lunch since it was so close to the festivities. I appreciate the little things (ice/water from fridge, coffee already stocked, plastic wrap). Safeway literally two blocks away - I walked there just to get ice cream for the family it was so close. - So many sleeping options!! Queen downstairs and pull out Murphy bed. KING upstairs with blowup mattress and crib if needed. Huge closet! Bathroom with double sink upstairs! Shower with some magic spa shower heads! - Games and another couch upstairs. Nintendo on main tv! TV in upstairs room. You won’t regret staying here. It was better than expected which makes for a great vacation.

Our family loved our stay at the Salida Opera House loft! As mentioned in the other reviews, the loft was very well-stocked with everything we needed and much more than you see with other VRBO‘s. We were there during Christmas, and they even decorated the loft with some Christmas decorations which was appreciated. Kaylee is also very responsive and helpful. There are two dedicated parking spots in a gated area behind the loft which was great being in downtown. We would definitely stay there again if in the area.

The Opera Loft was the perfect "base camp" while we were in Salida for our son's wedding. The Loft is all that everyone says: beautiful and beautifully maintained. It was such a great place to welcome family to as they arrived. It is central to everything in town with a lovely view of the mountains from the patio. The thoughtful touches to make a stay easier are everywhere. But most of all, for us, was Kaylee's thoughtfulness in helping us reschedule the loft when the wedding was cancelled due to Covid. A difficult decision was easier thanks to that. And her taking the time to send us wishes for the wedding tells you what you need to know. We fell in love with Salida and will be back to the town and the Loft.

The Opera Loft House is a beautiful home right in the heart of downtown Salida. It was clean, had EVERYTHING we needed, has a perfect view of S Mountain AND is 2 blocks from the River! This is our third stay there & was an excellent choice once again! The owner is great & answered my emails almost instantly!

This condo is in the perfect location in downtown Salida- you can walk to everything- bars, shopping, restaurants, etc. Lot’s of room to spread out, comfy beds and a great patio for happy hour. The owners provided recommendations on nearby activities and were quick to respond when we had questions. I’m planning a longer stay this fall and will definitely book here

We had a great time exploring Salida, skiing, and snowmobiling. This was a great condo right in the heart of downtown. Up to date accommodations.

We stayed at the Salida Opera House twice this summer and we enjoyed every moment of both trips. The owner was great to work with. Beautiful interior and great location. We will be back soon!

Beautiful, clean and comfortable. The location is incredible. You've got views of the mountains both east and west while being in the center of town. Linens, kitchen and furnishings are high quality and well-stocked. Most importantly the owner was really friendly and easy to communicate with.

This rental and location exceeded our expectations!! Quality & comfort. Close proximity to river with many fun activities for our family. Excellent eating places, parks and other conveniences very close. Our family thoroughly enjoyed this property and town. Our host was an excellent communicator and very easy to work with. We would definitely want to stay here again.

Great property in downtown Salida. The owners are very accessible and considerate.

This place was one of our all time favorites! It’s modern and clean. The kitchen was well stocked including extras other places don’t include like k-cups and ziplocks. The location is great, we walked to dinner most nights. My kids enjoyed playing games too. A great place for our family of six!

We loved this property - it was the perfect home base for our weekend trip. It's right downtown, so it's walkable to everything - restaurants, shops, coffee, etc. There's a great dessert place right downstairs. :) The loft is clean with several sleeping arrangement options. Kaylee was easy to work with and gave us several great recommendations. We had a busy itinerary - we spent time snowshoeing and up at the hot springs - so we didn't spend our days in the loft, but we definitely could have. Next time, we'll try to stay longer!

Great location for hanging out in downtown Salida. Having a parking space is ideal. Wonderful little town for a few days stay. The accommodations were spectacular. Everything you need is right there.

My husband and I, along with another couple, stayed here for a weekend. It was perfect for the four of us. Having a room on each floor allowed us privacy, while the open living room and kitchen was a great place for us to all hang out together. The giant windows let in a ton of natural light but do a great job of blocking out noise from neighboring restaurants/bars. The kitchen was well-stocked and there were plenty of towels and other linens. The washer/dryer was a great perk, as it gave us the opportunity to wash our running clothes (we were in the area for the Autumn Color Run) and hot springs towels and swimsuits, and not have to pack stinky/wet laundry. Kaylee provided a ton of useful info about the condo and Salida, and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We were so sad to leave, and will definitely stay here again!

Amazing stay in Salida. The Opera House loft was immaculate & gorgeous. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. We will definitely be back to the loft.
