Wow, quel endroit. C'était la première fois que nous allions à Hawaï avec notre jeune famille, et cet endroit est parfait. Vous avez clairement pensé à tout et votre condo est magnifique.
C'était probablement la location de vacances la plus bien équipée et la mieux équipée où nous ayons séjourné - détergent à lessive dans la buanderie et machine à glaçons sur le réfrigérateur. et de la nourriture dans le garde-manger
Bien que la grande île soit toujours incroyable, notre récent voyage à Mauna Lani était vraiment l'un des meilleurs en raison de nos magnifiques hébergements dans le condo Jan's Fairway. Les photos et descriptions ne peuvent pas capturer la qualité, l'ambiance et l'emplacement de cette propriété. Les logements sont bien décorés avec une attention aux détails (photos, meubles, équipements de cuisine, appareils électroniques, y compris la télévision, la musique, etc.) et vous vous sentez vraiment comme si vous étiez chez vous loin de chez vous. Jan a aidé avec les détails de notre séjour et tant de bonnes suggestions pour les environs, y compris la nourriture, les plages et les activités. NOUS AVONS LE MEILLEUR EMPLACEMENT AUX FAIRWAYS À MAUNA LANI. De la véranda en bas, regardez vers le fairway du 12e trou du parcours de golf Mauna Lani à environ 75 mètres. Regardez à 200 mètres à travers les belles maisons de Puoaia. Écoutez le chant des oiseaux chaque matin alors qu'ils s'appellent les uns les autres à travers la lave et se perchent dans les magnifiques arbres Heliotrope à l'extérieur de notre véranda. Mieux encore, préparez votre libation et votre pupus préférés afin de pouvoir vous asseoir sur la véranda grillant jusqu'à la fin d'une journée tropicale tout en admirant le coucher du soleil chaque soir. Peut-être que si vous avez de la chance, vous verrez le flash vert.

We loved everything about this property! The location was perfect- tucked in at the back of the complex, facing the ocean (just beyond the golf course, but you know it’s there ;), in between the Fairmont and Auberge, so you can enjoy a drink or dinner easily at either breathtaking resort, and close to some of the best beaches on the island. Having a beach pass to the Mauna Lani Beach Club was a must! It was a gem of a beach and so perfect for little kids. The house was immaculate and fully stocked, which we so appreciated if you’re planning on doing some cooking. We really hope to stay here again. It had more than everything we needed for our Hawaiian dream vacation. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us, Jan!

This home is outstanding. It was truly the highlight of our trip on Big Island. With two kids, we pretty much stayed in one place, watercolor painting on the beautiful lanai, swimming in the resort pool, and enjoying meals at home. This home feels like your best friend invited you to their house and made sure you had everything you needed and more to feel at home. Jan, this is obviously a passion of yours! We couldn’t even find a speck of dirt in any forgotten corner. Plentiful supplies abounded, and we slept like angels on the beds. Garage had tons of extra gear for swimming snorkeling beach days and kids play.

Everything was as stated in the VRBO listing We enjoyed the beautiful property grounds and private beach was such an added bonus very easy yo work remotely in the upstairs office That is set up very nicely the quiet of surrounding neighborhood was appreciated and kitchen had working appliances and plenty of dishes amd laundry room had great washer and dryer we definetly would love to stay again in future

This is our second visit to Mauna Lani Fairways and first time in Jan’s condo and it was a truly exceptional property. There is true pride in ownership that is reflected in the quality of furniture, decor, linens, kitchen ware & beach gear. The owners thought of absolutely everything and were generous with amenities and starters such as coffee pods, Mac nuts and condiments. The private beach club is perfect with cabanas and chaise and great snorkeling. We personally love Hapuna and the Shave Ice truck and shops in Kawaihae. We will most certainly be back. My sons and I thoroughly relaxed at Jan's 3 BR condo. It is well maintained, located on the western edge of the Fairways complex, overlooking the fairway, and in earshot of the surf.
The owners are extremely responsive and have taken time to think through all the details to make their property user friendly and turnkey.
We would recommend their property without hesitation.

We had a great time at the Big Island while staying at Jan’s place. The home is really beautiful and everything we needed was provided. The kitchen is very well equipped and having beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella and boogie boards available made beach outings easy.
The location within the Fairways is excellent, beautiful views from the Lanai and easy pool access. We also really enjoyed having access to the Beach Club in Mauna Lani.
Highly recommend and hope we can return one day.

Our 3 bedroom condo at the Fairways was perfect for our family’s needs & activities as my son got married at the Fairmont Orchid. (We prefer a home setting vs. a hotel room). The condo had a golf course view, lots of privacy, lovely furnishings, well equipped kitchen, beach chairs, coolers, etc. The central pool & hot tub were a great way to wind down after a day at the beach. Access to the beach club was a very nice benefit. Overall, we loved our stay & will give an outstanding recommendation to our friends.

The condo location is in a quiet location. We found several restaurants within 10-15 mins drive. The condo was extremely well stocked and was very clean. We had an issue with the AC the first couple nights and decided to reach out to the owners. They quickly rectified. We had a nice time listening to the birds and sitting on the patio. The club access was a great spot to relax and enjoy quiet waters. Thank you to the owners for accommodating a schedule request due to a medical condition. We were able to create great memories.

Like a high end hotel!
This condo far exceeded our expectations. The pictures on the VRBO website do not do this place justice. I felt like we were living in a high-end hotel. The furnishings, art, linens, appliances, etc were exceptional. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. Even the supplied amount of toilet paper and paper towels were more than we needed for the week. The beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, boogie boards, insulated coolers, etc made our beach trips very comfortable. The Beach Club private beach was amazing and we really appreciated the private parking lot. The snorkeling off this beach was wonderful. Jan and Michael's attention to detail was so far and above any other VRBO rental we have used in the past. We really liked staying in this area of the island. It was much quieter than Kona proper. The only down side of this area of the island is that the Foodland grocery store closes at 7pm. We were not aware of this and our arrival after that time meant we could not shop for breakfast foods for the next day. Luckily, we discovered the Sunday brunch buffet at the Mauna Lani Auberge Resort--pricey but wonderful! I wish we had stayed longer than a week in this condo!

Great home with everything!!
The unit is very, very well kept!! The description was on point. Never have I stayed at a place that had so much extra to offer. The owners really care for this home and the people that visit. It is close to a small shopping plaza. The community pool was a 1 min walk and never once was it crowded. The access to the private beach was amazing!! The six of us enjoyed it for hours in the AM and then had lunch at the restaurant steps from the beach. I would highly recommend this and give it 5+ 🌟. If we get a chance in the future to visit again, this location will definitely be 1st choice. If this is an option to book, DO IT!!!! Do not hesitate!

Amazing, family-friendly stay!
We absolutely loved this gem of a condo. Nice and quiet (I imagine any in this complex would be, except right by the pool maybe). The pool is so great and family friendly. Nice and chill...no "scene" and always a free chair. This condo is super well appointed by something that ACTUALLY cooks! They have most seasonings and condiments that you need to make most things - such a huge help while traveling and saves a ton of wasted food and $. Everything about the condo was super nice, clean and comfortable. My only complaint was that the beds could be more comfortable (felt like a firm, low-end mattress to all of us) and the condo was too hot at night upstairs (and the temperature was difficult to change because of the automated settings). We slept okay despite this, but it's the only thing keeping me from wanting to rebook the place immediately.

Fantastic in every way
I'll keep this short and sweet - we loved it! We have been going to the Big Island almost annually (minus COVID) for about 15 years. We have mainly stayed in Waikoloa and enjoyed that, but for the past couple of years have come to Mauna Lani. This condo has been the best we have stayed for a couple of reasons. First, the location at the Mauna Lani in general and more specifically in the Fairways complex is really nice. Mauna Lani offers a great combination of shopping convenience along with neat little beaches including the owners Beach Club and historic Hawaiian sites. This complex sits in the middle of it all and the unit itself stands out because of its west facing aspect with open views out across the 12th hole of the golf course (far enough away not to be affected by what appeared to be some errant golf shots!), with beautiful sunsets over the palm trees in the distance. Second, we have never stayed in a unit so well appointed. The furniture and fixtures are all first class, and is stocked with EVERYTHING you need to make your vacation straightforward and enjoyable. I can't think of one thing that we needed that this condo didn't have, quite frankly. Nice pool in the complex as well, although be forewarned that per the rules kids under 8 are not allowed in the hot tub (not even with an adult) but that is the only flaw I can think of (flaw for us maybe a positive for others!). Again, we loved the unit and love the Big Island!

We spent a week with family and friends at this beautiful 3 bd, 2.5 bth property. The condo is well appointed and the location is excellent. It was very nice to have beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards, etc. to uto enjoy during our beach time.

Great Amenities
We enjoyed our stay at this condo. Spacious for our whole family. We cooked several nights there. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need. The condo overlooks a golf course. The pool is a two minute walk. The beach access is a 15 minute walk or a quick drive over to the Mauna Lani Beach Club. We saw whale from the beach club! Very cool. You can also walk all the way to the club on the fisherman’s trail along the shore. The condo had a great lanai & bbq. We will definitely book again when we return

We had a great experience. The home was clean and check in went smoothly. Beautifully decorated home backed up to the golf course. The 2 story townhome allowed some separation with our adult kids. Nice Big Island Family Getaway at Mauna Lani
This is our 4th time back at the Fairways and our first time staying and this property. Compared to other townhomes in the community, we found this one to be very nicely furnished, clean, and primely located against the backdrop of the golf course. Jan was a wonderful host and was very kind and responsive when we had an issue (of our own doing). I think that when it comes to staying at The Fairways, the units themselves on VRBO are more or less the same in terms of floor plans and space. The differences are typically the quality and comfort of the furnishings, the physical location within the Fairways, as well as the service from the host - all of which were outstanding and we hope to come back. Great place!
We were absolutely happy to stay in this house! House itself, community and pool are gorgeous! We had access to private beach with nice reef fish and wonderful beachfront restaurant. I was especially grateful for many small useful tools in the kitchen, great fresh smell of clothes after washing, beautiful beach towels! Everything for the beach - googles, umbrellas, chairs, toys, water shoes. Everything was perfectly clean. My younger son discovered a can of macadamia nuts and it became empty very soon after that)) we will definitely recommend this place to our friends. It was our first trip to Hawaii and we glad to stay here!

Wonderful vacation
Aloha Jan, We are now back home after having spent 2 delightful weeks at Puako. Your house and all its amenities exceeded our expectations and we thank you for everything you planned to make our stay more comfortable. From salt and pepper and spices to extra beach towels and swim goggles and beach chairs and umbrella to wonderful appliances and adequate cookware.. It all provided us with a stressless vacation. The grandkids appreciated the close and attractive pool and we all enjoyed the various beaches in the area. If there is a star system, we hereby bestow 5 stars upon you and would recommend your house without the slightest reservation. Mahalo. I pray for the pleasure and opportunity to return soon. Home Away From Home
After staying in a hotel for a few days, it was nice to have all of the comforts of home and be near so many wonderful adventures. The pool was convenient and nice and the beach club has great amenities. We took advantage of the nice BBQ area and the kitchen was well stocked. Larry was amazing and check-in easy. Will hopefully stay again in the near future.

Great for families - better if you want to eat-in
It is a great place with room for 6 in beds. Lots of equipment in the kitchen (plus outdoor bbq). It is set up to live in. 3 bathrooms meant no arguing for a place. Plus some gear for the beaches/pool already on site. Parking in guest spots was close by. Pool on the complex is quite nice for an owner-unit pool (good size and a hot tub but without the fancy slides the hotel pools have).
Slight cons: 1- the airflow required one of the upper bedroom doors to be left ajar at night or else we could not balance the AC. 2 - WiFi was okay downstairs but spotty upstairs (maybe a newer model system could help- with two teens we taxed it a bit).
If you want to stay on the Kona side of the Big Island this was a really welcoming place. We would look forward to going back.
