You feel like you are out in the country but much is close by. Your place to stay is on a 11 acre lot with a dock on the West Point Lake where you can fish. You have the swimming pool, tennis court, and basketball goal. A sweet goldfish pond where you get to feed the fish everyday. Very enjoyable view in the evening with the lightning outside. Nice big table outside where the whole family could eat together. We had a low country boil for everyone to enjoy eating outside at the big table. Granddaughter cooked a red velvet cake. A great place where we (family) made memories for a lifetime!!!!

Amazing property, well maintained, everything you need is there- all the kitchen equipment, basketballs, tennis rackets, fishing poles, pool floats, board games, puzzles etc. the property itself is outstanding! We’ll maintained riling lawns, HUGE fenced backyard, lovely shaded path through the woods to the dock- all EXCELLENT! We only left the property on Friday evening for dinner at Jaunitos , and it was excellent as well! Our group of 11 arrived unannounced, and we greeted by smiling people, made welcome, seated and had drinks and chips within minutes. The food was very good, plentiful, and very reasonably priced. I would recommend this restaurant to all!

We thoroughly enjoyed the gardens, hawks circling above, the frog chorus, and the gentle walk to the dock. What a lovely place to immerse in nature.

We enjoyed the relaxation that this property offered. The pool and outside lounging areas were a big hit as well as the tennis court (we used for pickleball)! Loved eating dinner with all the family at the big table by the pool. The cove was nice but didn't catch many fish. A great place to unwind and be refreshed!

Enjoyed the stay. The pool was nice and we played pickleball on the tennis court. Property is in a neighborhood but also secluded from the neighbors making it the best of both worlds.

Plenty of room for our family of 14. We particularly enjoyed the lovely back yard and pool Plenty of seating and shade from the sun when needed.

We did not stay at the property. On the day of our arrival we arrived at the property around 2:00 pm just to find where we would be staying. The property owner was there at that time and came out and very rudely told us that we could not be there yet and as she was wildly talking we realized she was reeking of alcohol. We explained we had been traveling for hours and was just finding where we would be and we were going to meet other family members. I did not even realize that she had not sent me the check in information at this time. When we went back to the house to check in and could not. I called her 14 times left messages and texts with no answer. VRBO was then contacted and after their attempts to get in touch with her failed we were put up in a hotel and told that VRBO would send me options for a different rental. We were stranded and hours away from home so we found another rental and tried to salvage the rest of our trip. This has been the worst trip of our lives and I do not care that she woke up from her 12 hour nap at 2:18am and gave the code. At this point we were mad as anyone would have been! I have been on the phone several times that had ended up in hours with VRBO during my vacation. I would advise anyone looking at this property to just pass on by. She will also respond to this review and say that the statements that were made were all false and that we tried to sneak in but I don’t know how we would do that being WE DID’NT HAVE THE DOOR CODE! Yes, read her reviews, as I’m sure she’s going to say, but pay special attention to how she responds to the less than perfect ones, these really tell a lot about this host. Let me end by saying to her, as she likes to say in her responses, SHAME ON YOU!!

We visited this LaGrange lake home in November 2022. The backyard cannot be beat. A beautiful fishpond, swimming pool, outdoor pergola with brick fireplace, lots of sitting areas, and a fenced-in private backyard. There is a tennis court and a boat dock that you can walk to, but the water levels are too low this time of year to actually dock there. The house is brightly colored and the kitchen has everything you would need (coffee maker, plenty of serving dishes). The bedroom upstairs is difficult is accessed via a narrow spiral staircase. This can be difficult to navigate when carrying bags. The home is in a great location close to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping in downtown LaGrange, and the Hills and Dales Estate -- highly recommend a tour of this historical home. Beds were extremely comfortable and the house was clean. It easily accommodated eight adults, two children, one infant and two dogs.

This lakehoise was a very well kept home well furnished with everything to make an exceptional stay.. Local grocery store is just a few miles away for needed supplies. I would definitely stay here again

Multiple family members from age 1 to 85 stayed at this home as a refuge from Hurricane Ian. Lots of space. We spent a lot of time playing all of the games found in the home.

This was an absolutely perfect vacation spot for our family. There was plenty of private space for the 7 of us when needed, and more than enough group areas where we could all be together. The pool with the pavilion was the favorite of all! The kitchen was well stocked with every utensil and cooking equipment we needed. Check-in and check-out was easy and our host responded to our communications in a timely manner. Definitely our choice for another vacation!

My children, their spouses & our 11 year old grandson joined us to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday. We absolutely loved the home. Spacious bedrooms, many bathrooms, large living spaces made cooking, eating, etc perfect. Everything we needed was there and then some! The outdoor space was incomparable. Pool was perfect size. We loved the pond and the 'singing' frogs every evening. The younger ones enjoyed the tennis court & we all enjoyed a day on a pontoon on the beautiful West Point Lake. Thank you!

Enjoyed 4 days on this spectacular property with my children! We had a great time! We had everything we needed and just enjoyed the quality time!

Everything was set up when we arrived. The property is amazing and on the lake with a dock. Stress melted away. All the amenities worked and there were no issues. Great communication with the owner was always there if a question arose.

Loved the home and weekend with(10) family and friends. Wooded & quiet acreage. Lots of space, bedrooms and areas to hang out. The kids enjoyed the pool, koi pond, tennis/basketball court & dock on the lake plus their "private" room with spiral staircase. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had all you needed. Table that fit all of us outside and grill we used plus multiple eating area options inside. Multiple TVs & bathrooms & great outdoor gazebo with fireplace

We enjoyed our stay and the owners were super host. They were very nice and super helpful with the local attractions recommendations. We would recommend this place to anyone.

First of all the house has decor that inspires. It's roomy and comfortable. The place is gorgeous and would definitely recommend renting. Ms Evans is very professional and also very Kind. We loved it very much.

My group of ladies have been going on fall trips together for over 30 years, so we consider ourselves to be able to give a fair, but honest review. We came here to explore and enjoy the Lagrange area. This location was perfect for that! Overall, we really enjoyed staying at this property. It has plenty of space and all the essentials. It has a very eclectic vibe, which we also appreciated. The only downfall was that it could use a little TLC. I won’t go into any details here, but I will be letting the owner know if a few items that need her attention. She has communicated with me very well and apologized in advance for anything that might’ve been amiss. Apparently she has been recovering from some injuries and hasn’t had an opportunity to take care of the property to her liking in recent months. Regardless, we would definitely come here again! It suited our needs well.

Place was overall very comfortable. Nice and quiet few day getaway for the family. Thank you for allowing us to spend some time at your house.

We arrived on a Thursday to spend a long weekend with friends and family. There were nine of us and we had a wonderful time. We went for a 6 mile hike one day but basically stayed at the property all weekend. It is out away from neighbors and it feels like you are on your own island. We loved playing tennis and would have played long into the night but the lights didn't work. Instead we were lazy and sat around the fire in the fantastic outdoor living area. There was plenty of room for us all to have our own space and the kitchen was a nice size to gather and cook together. We all ate together in the dining room and caught up , laughed and cried. Aesthetically. the house does need a little TLC. The soffit needs painting and the gutter on the left side is coming off the house, The bathroom we used had peeling paint on the walls and ceiling and the shower floor was peeling up. We shared the house with numerous spiders, they didn't bother us and we didn't bother them. Being a lake house, this is something you just have to deal with. With that being said, it did not take away one bit of pleasure we had and we would definitely stay again!!!!

We had 4 adult couples in our family group and the house worked out great! The pool was very nice and outside covered sitting area was great gathering place for everyone. We would go again!

My family had a wonderful time here and we were able to bring our dogs along. They were very accommodating for our family with so many of us and all the dogs. We really enjoyed the pool and walking down to the dock everyday. Would absolutely book again!

The property was outstanding. The house was completely equipped. The pool,tennis court, and basketball court were all utilized. We lucked out with the weather and were able to BBQ and eat outdoors.

Initially we were unsure of how many we would have but the property owner was very accommodating. Due to the confusion of the amount of guests and dogs we would have, we were only charged for 15 instead of sixteen though we did have to make a late payment to allow the pets in. Within the first few hours we found several roaches and a pair of underwear left out on the kitchen counter. We notified the homeowner and she sincerely apologized and said they had just sprayed the day before. The second day, we noticed a leak from the upstairs shower that was coming through to the laundry room. The homeowner sent a nearby neighbor over to look into this. They let us know that the shower door wasn't closed all the way and it was leaking out of the shower and through the floor. This could be the case, but since I was the one in the shower when it started leaking I do not believe this to be true. Although the door was sticking and not shutting all the way, water was not on the floor. She offered to find a new place to stay. Considering how many people we had, we thought it would be too inconvenient to accommodate all of us in a new place, last minute. Next, we noticed the paint in the downstairs shower was peeling off as if it was just painted or incorrect paint was used. We let her know about this as well. She said that it was a bit of a patch job until the peak season rolls over and she can get people in there to fix the issues properly. These were all signs to us that she may neglect to maintain the property adequately.By day three, we had probably killed 50 roaches in the kitchen and pantry. We complained again to which she told us that VRBO would be finding us a new place to stay and that she would take care of it in the morning. She also said that an exterminator was going to arrive on Thursday to investigate the infestation. I never heard back about the website finding us a new property. On Thursday, when the exterminator showed up, he let us know that he was only contracted to spray the outside. As I described the infestation, he came in and did an inspection and confirmed they had been there a while. We never heard back about it.We dealt with the infestation for the duration and received 200 dollars back as a refund. She seemed upset that we complained about the issues instead of fixing them. I imagine she will try to defend herself on this review instead of addressing the issues with her house.

My extended family of 13 had an amazing 6 days at the Flamingo house! Rhiannon was so responsive and easy to communicate with. The outdoor space for this house is absolutely incredible. The vegetation is simply gorgeous, and the kids loved feeding the fish in the pond every morning. We spent all day every day in the pool, and even instituted a couple "adult swim" hours so we could float undisturbed. We used the tennis court for pickle ball and also for a great workout space. We spent a couple evenings under the outdoor patio and even in the rain we had plenty of room for 8 adults. With all the amazing vegetation we also saw TONS of frogs and 4 different (harmless) snakes! We all loved it! The house deco is so fun! There was a mix up with the number of rooms, but Rhiannon was great and offered to make it right. All beds were comfortable. The house is clean overall, but all the spider webs got overlooked. We had a great time and all family members said we would love to go back.
