Notre propriété est située à moins d'un pâté de maisons de la magnifique baie de Balboa, de la promenade et du ferry de Balboa qui donne accès aux plages de la péninsule et à l'océan Pacifique. Le ferry est un charmant trajet de 5 minutes directement vers la zone d'amusement de Balboa (avec des arcades, des manèges et des collations), la jetée de Balboa, des boutiques et des restaurants, des excursions en bateau et de pêche (y compris le transport vers l'île de Catalina à proximité) et des sports de vélo / nautiques locations.
Agate est la seule rue de l'île avec une salle d'escalade pour enfants et un terrain de basket. Sur l'île elle-même, Marine Avenue possède de bons restaurants et boutiques qui ne sont qu'à 2 miles de restaurants, boutiques et cinémas encore plus raffinés dans le célèbre centre commercial en plein air de Newport, Fashion Island.

This was an incredible property for a weekend stay in Balboa. Location less than a minute walk from the ferry made it very easy to get around. Very spacious property with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, making it a great choice for large groups. The property manager was very responsive and kind. Would definitely stay here again!

Cute area. The house was a little worse for the ware (showers not working, broken small appliances, patched holes in the wall) but that makes sense after what I’m sure was a busy summer season. It was good for what we needed- a place to crash for two nights. I don’t think we would have tolerated a longer stay

Girls trip for 5. Location was great, close to ferry and short walk to shopping and dining. Ended up driving a Tahoe and there was available street parking, the garage would have been too tight. We parked the car and left it for the weekend just using the ferry and walking everywhere.

Enjoyed a visit to Balboa last year and did it again this year. Kids, 15 and 12, know the island and Newport well. Close to the ferry, a garage space and AC. Host was responsive and very accommodating. No complaints.

Great stay that accommodated all of our needs and more! Loved having access to all the beach toys! Great location, easy access to and from the airport, to and from Disneyland, to and from the beach, and quick walk to the marina. The beds were a bit small and uncomfortable and the curtains in the rooms (if there were any) could be switched for blackout. Otherwise a very enjoyable vacation!

This home was within walking distance to several attractions and within a 30 min drive to knotts berry farm. The house has enough room for our family and was very clean. The host communicated quickly and resolved any issues we had immediately. I would highly recommend this house to friends and family!!

We booked this house for ourselves and our sons and their wives and kids. We had 7 adults and 2 five-year old children staying and the house accommodated our needs. We had plenty of places to sit and enough beds with extra pillows and blankets. There were enough towels (some places barely give any) and the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and gadgets for cooking family meals. We had three cars but there was no problem finding parking, and it was a short half-block walk to take the ferry over to the other side of the island. The property management was very responsive (Thanks Mitch!) and would definitely book again if we head down that way.

We loved this location... our teenage sons went across the street to play basketball several times a day! Perfect spot with a small market and restaurant steps away, or we took the stroll to the main shops. Really enjoyed our stay... thank you!

I loved the area! It took a bit of getting used to but, after I did I really enjoyed it! The house wasn’t too bad! We wanted to stay another couple night’s and we contacted the owner and never responded until we got to Vegas two days later! But other than that everything was as great

The location of this place is great. However, the roof leaked making the tile floor dangerous, cracked dishes were present and we had items taken from the garage, without leaving it unlocked, and with poor assistance from the host. I'll stay on Balboa again, but not here.

This house is in a great location. It’s NOT ocean view but it is just a quick little walk to the ferry and a nice walkway along the harbor. To get beach access you cross the ferry and it’s just a couple blocks. Overall we loved the location. There were a few things that the house needed , there were either no batteries in the tv remotes or they were dead. The downstairs bathroom is extremely tiny and there was no toilet paper holder, & no counter whatsoever. Upstairs was decent. Although on our way to the house we got a message that we were unable to use one of the upstairs showers which was inconvenient traveling with a large family. Also the parking is difficult, I was under the impression there was a 2 car garage but also last minute we were informed that we had to share the garage with another tenant. Don’t bring a truck, it will not fit. The parking along the street is packed and hard to find parking. The house was decently clean but it’s nothing fancy if that’s what your used to. Maybe check before booking that all the house amenities are in working condition, showers, tv’s etc.

This property is GREAT for groups !
The property is great for multiple families with good options for sleeping arrangements, our niece came with her 2 younger daughters and they had the bunk room, we had 2 couples that got the 2 different rooms with queen beds and the 4 th room our nephew stayed in was fabulous ! All the room had bathrooms with two rooms sharing a jack and jill bathroom. Location is great for ocean access which you get to by the ferry which the house is one block from . Having use of the garage is SUPER important on the island as parking is at a premium !! Everything you could need for the beach was there from wagons, bikes , beach chairs, sand toys and actual beach towlels!!

Great Stay!
Our family age range is 4 years old to 64 years old and this property worked out very well for all three generations. Close to a calm beach, close to the Pacific Ocean beach, close to restaurants and close to lots of family activities.

Perfect for kids
This is definitely a ‘downscale’ property, but it’s perfect if you have a wide range of kids ! Pretty worn down. I wouldn’t want to host a holiday there but I don’t think you could have a more carefree vacation with kids. We had problems getting the TV to work in the bunk room and the fan is coming off the ceiling. No outside space to sit unless you’re in timeout.
Perfect location and lots of fun. No one contacted us with checkin info so I had to make a few calls and finally got it worked out. I would still rent it again when I’m hosting family with grandchildren. Perfect location!
My daughter said it was the best vacation she’s ever had with her family of 4 kids!

Met expectations
We were looking for a property on Balboa Island that could accommodate 3 families with children at a reasonable cost. This met exactly what we needed. The location near the island’s park and ferry was a bonus.

Clean house with garage parking
Convenient to Balboa shops, close to 501 Park Ave Bistro also, near the Balboa Ferry and Fun Zone.
Beds and bedding adequate, extra towels, sheets, and blankets available.
Outdoor patio Is only 2 1/2 feet wide and mostly for show.
Our grandchildren enjoyed the boogie boards.
It was a good place to sleep and eat breakfast. We were out and about every day.

Great Stay on Balboa Island!
Our family group including two teenage boys had a great time here. It slept everyone in beds comfortably and there were plenty of towels--including beach towels. It was also great having three bathrooms. We loved the location being so close to the ferry and the park where the boys played basketball everyday. This street can get very busy though so it just depends what you're looking for in a vacation. Having the coffee shop two doors down and the market on the corner worked well for us. The property was clean and the property manager was attentive. We would stay here again!

tough but good vaca
The property needed upkeep and on vaca is not when you like that to have to be done. We called management and told them kitchen sink wouldn't drain and we couldn't get the garbage disposal to turn, we also mentioned the screen door off and something else; we did get a plumber. The dishwasher didn't work, the frig was leaking, toilet is in need of replacement. mirror cracked. The Master upstairs had cockroach appearance.

Wonderful VRBO condo
This was the perfect place for our family to stay while on vacation. It slept all of us comfortably and it was so nice to have a condo with space to enjoy each other’s company. Management was very quick with replies to any questions or concerns we had. Location was perfect and it was easy access to the beach or to bigger attractions like Disneyland. The price was amazing for the amount of space you have. Thank you so much!

Great location
Our family had a great stay at this property. It is in a great neighborhood and just a ferry ride to New Port Beach.
We were there for a wedding at the Pavilion so it was perfect. We didn't have to drive to and from the wedding. We also enjoyed the restaurant next store everyone there was super nice.

Great place for families
This place was wonderful! It had a lot of bedroom space for the kids to spread out and everything was clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything but food! It was down the street, literally, from the ferry and the garage and closet were loaded with what we’d need to access the beach! I highly recommend this place to a visiting family AND i could totally come back with my kids and their friends there were so many beds and bathrooms!!!!
