Littéralement à un mile au-dessus de la Blue Ridge Parkway à 4000 pieds, cette maison fraîchement repensée dispose de 2 suites King avec une cuisine de chef gastronomique et une immense terrasse couverte pour profiter pleinement des vues spectaculaires et d'un environnement paisible. Tout dans notre maison est tout neuf! Entouré de forêts domaniales non développées, c'est vraiment une escapade paisible avec de bons restaurants, des magasins uniques, des cascades spectaculaires, de formidables randonnées, de l'équitation, de la pêche à la truite à proximité.
D'après notre expérience, il n'y a rien de pire que de se présenter à votre location pour constater que c'est moins que ce à quoi vous vous attendiez et commencer vos vacances déçus. Nous avons conçu et meublé cette maison pour notre famille et selon nos normes élevées - vous ne serez pas déçus!

Myself, my husband, and two friends stayed here for a long weekend and it was perfect! The view is to die for and so peaceful! Very close to hiking and climbing. Property was extremely clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. No complaints whatsoever and would definitely stay here again!

This cabin was perfect! Well-stocked with all necessities. Beds were super comfy. It was cold outside, and the cabin was well-insulated. The view is spectacular!! Bill was great with communication. A little drive to the small town to try a couple of restaurants. Hef’s restaurant has great burgers and fries and pizza. Fox and the Fig is a coffee shop with the best bagels and biscuits. In a nearby town, we had BBQ at Pigs and Grits and that was delicious. Well worth the 30-minute drive. Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, Linville Falls, and the Biltmore are must-sees. A little drive to all of those places. The road up to the cabin is steep and winding, but not bad at all. Easy to navigate. Everywhere you go it’s a nice drive through curvy roads, so just take your time, and you’ll be fine. This cabin was quiet, comfy, and peaceful. If you’re looking to relax with a great view, this is the place for you!

We had a nice weekend at Tranquility. The views were great and cabin was nicely stocked with everything we needed for our long weekend stay. Only wish was to have a portable heater or fire pit to enjoy the view sitting on the deck in the mornings or early evenings… it was a little too chilly for us! Would definitely recommend to others.

It is a peaceful and quiet mountain place with excellent road access. It is close to trails and places to visit.
The cabin layout is wonderful with all the amenities you need, just relax and enjoy the mountain view.

This place was perfect. It's high elevation allows for an incredible view from the front porch. The home was well appointed, especially if you like to cook a meal or two on vacation. A great weekend overall and would definitely return.

This was an amazing home within a mile of the parkway. The homes location was beautiful with Mountain View’s. We explored the area visiting Mt Mitchell, Little Switzerland and drove highway 197 from Pensacola to Barnardsville. The home was newly renovated and did not disappoint. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful, clean, well-kept property with great a view and plenty of outdoor experiences nearby. We absolutely loved it, will recommend to friends and will be back if Bill will have us in the future. Highly recommend!

The home is perfect for 2 couples with living area I. The middle. Very tastefully decorated with super comfy beds and linens!!😌😌. Beautiful sunrises albeit a bit cool when we were there still very pretty. The kitchen has about everything one can think of the only thing I couldn’t find was a muffin/cupcake pan but plenty of others. Perhaps maybe a waffle iron also although we never made any do didn’t look as I always bring my own. The covered front porch is great for sitting and the table furniture was very comfy. All top notch everything here you won’t be disappointed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at this mountain home. The house was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. The view from the front porch is beautiful and the location is very quiet and tranquil.

We had a fun time in the cabin. The view is breathtaking. Try not to miss the “earth to sky” park where you will see billions of stars and the Milky Way. We loved trips on the Blue Ridge Parkway and a stop at Little Switzerland. The cabin is very cozy with up to date appliances and a fully equipped kitchen. All in all we loved our stay.

Bill’s place has the perfect layout for our group of 2 couples. Super clean and tastefully decorated. It’s about one hour drive to Asheville downtown, but only 20 minutes to Little Switzerland and Linville Falls. We spent more time on the patio enjoying the view, using the gas grill to prepare meals than being inside the house. Great communication with the host; all my questions were answered promptly. Wifi is a bit slow but totally working. Feeling completely recharged after 4 days stay.

Bills' place is awesome! The house is very clean and modern with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The views from the front porch are beautiful. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking meals. The bedrooms are large and spacious with their own bathrooms. The area is really easy to navigate with a lot of things to do in the area. I would highly recommend staying here.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this well-appointed home in Spruce Pine! It was really clean and offered many amenities with the add-on bonus of a spectacular mountain view. Communication with the home’s owner, Bill, was always detailed and timely. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway or a place close to a variety of activities, this is a perfect choice! We definitely recommend a stay here!!

This was our second time here and we love it! Two mater suite concept worked great for us with two couples and then with our family of three. Great views and equipped with everything you need. Bill is very responsive as an owner.

The property is 1 mile up a gravel road that is easy to navigate… only a couple of miles off BRP. Beautiful view. Love the porch. You will be immediately WOW’d when you enter. Great renovation. Kitchen and den area very well done.
A bedroom is on either side. Perfect layout. You will like the beds if you like VERY firm beds. The sheets on one bed need to be replaced (no where close to fitting) and that was a big bother. Other than that… the place is basically perfect for us.
Great communication with Bill. The fridge and freezer weren’t working so we lost 2 nights leftovers (big bummer) but they’ve never had problems with it and there’s nothing he could have done.
Very clean. Very great location. Very good communication. Beautiful views. Easy to get to even at night. We’re a fan!

We were in the area to check out the WNC Bigfoot Festival. While the festival was a good time, it was definitely enhanced by this wonderful house. What a view!! Two king suites was perfect for two adult couples. Loved the open concept living room/dining area/kitchen; it made preparing meals a group activity. The porch was great for having our morning coffee and for winding down in the evening. My only critique would be the lack of seating in the living room area. 4 adults could not comfortably sit and watch a movie, as there is just one couch. Other than that, Bill was a great host and the house was impeccably clean and well stocked.

My husband and I had an amazing stay at this beautiful home! The house was exceptionally clean and was very conveniently located - it felt remote and cozy, but was close to the adorable town of Spruce Pine. The location was also convenient to several of our favorite hikes. We can’t wait to come back!

Overall the place was great. It had great views and was very clean. Perfect size for a family of 4. Close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Jonas Ridge tubing.

Everything was great, other than the roads and surrounding roads needing to be salted. It was a little scary driving out of the home and two to three miles away from the home until roads were salted. The home was perfect, the property itself was beautiful. We loved every minute staying there.

This place was exactly as pictured and better! Had everything we needed for a quiet getaway! The sunrise was breathtaking and made for such a relaxing trip. Would definitely come again . Only issue we had was not know about the BRMP being closed so had to do some last minute navigating but the place itself was perfect and remote!

Great property with an amazing view. Everything you need is there. Wi-Fi is not good but your in the mountains so we weren’t there to watch TV or listen to the news.

Perfect for 2 Couples, property as described. Bill was excellent with communication and check in was easy. We had a wonderful visit to Spruce Pine, Penland and surrounding area! The property is clean, renovated with care and stocked with amenities for short or long stay! The sunrise each morning drinking coffee on the porch was amazing! Thanks so much!

This place was in the perfect spot to explore the NC mountains. We were able to see all the best spots all within 40 minutes. The beautiful weather didn't hurt. Appreciate the cleanliness and the view from the porch. Great place for the dogs to have some space. Thanks again!

We loved this cabin. The mountain view was amazing. The only thing that is missing in this area is a quaint little town. Little Switzerland did have a good restaurant with an amazing view.

This was a perfect home for two couples. Near the parkway and our favorite hiking areas. The kitchen was very well equipped and had like-new appliances. This was the nicest home we have stayed at in the mountains. Short gravel road up to the property but easily accessed with a passenger car. Great communication, Excellent overall experience.
